Bar

The is the bar in the lobby of the Hilton. It's classy in a dark wood kind of way. The bartenders were helpful and friendly but not overly interactive. My Negroni was exactly as expected. It was a bit pricey but I expect that in a hotel.

Stopped in for a drink Bo before a reception. When we got here out was a quite little place. Within 15 min that changed to a loud and crowded bar. Had the one stop shop - what a light and refreshing drink - Hendricks gin, St. Geramane, ginger liqueur and lemon juice.

Cool little piano bar with comfy lounge furniture and cool vibe. 2nd floor of the Riverwalk Hilton. The bartender we had was awesome and they have really cool cocktails to try out. She took her job seriously and each handcrafted cocktail was meticulously made right down to toasting my cinnamon stick for my amazing cocktail.

Nice bar inside the Hilton hotel, perfect if you want something with a more intimate atmosphere. Friendly service and delicious drinks! We had espresso martinis before heading into the French quarter and it was the perfect drink to wake us up a little!

TL;DR: Highly recommended. Perfect venue to bring your date and plot your next move! The ambiance of this bar was sophisticated and elegant, with dim lighting and plush leather seating creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Soft jazz music played in the background, adding to the upscale and luxurious feel of the space, away from the chaos donwstairs. Highly recommended

Boy oh boy, do I have a place for you. Tucked away in the Hilton Riverside, Public Belt is manned by two great bartenders, Aaron & Mike. These two craft some of the best cocktails I've ever had, and believe me, I've drank a lot in all 26 of my years. The amount of skill, craftsmanship & Integrity these two put into their drinks is outstanding. Along with Great drinks, the customer service is outstanding and a fun vibe overall. If you're into piano, our main man, Phil has those keys piping hot come 8 PM; ask him to play New York, New York Come one, come all, and ask for a hurricane, you won't regret it -BK

Fun craft drinks! Michael and Neyda were amazing!!! Piano bar, small intimate experience.

Best cosmo I've had in NOLA. And I've been here a bunch. Great service and friendly. Come check them out.

As guests of the hotel, we stopped here for a cocktail before heading out for the evening. It was too early for live music and both TVs were on, tuned to different channels, which was a little incongruous with the atmosphere. The bartender was fairy aloof and disinterested except to point out the uniqueness of their cocktails and theme (pre-prohibition). I ordered the Scarlet Harlot. It came with a lime, not a lemon, and despite both being citrus they add very different flavors to the drink and that drives me a little nuts when a switch is made - there was a lemon on the counter behind the bar so I know it wasn't because they were out. I also didn't get any sense of the apricot liqueur in the cocktail. I didn't enjoy it and wished I would have ordered something else given the price. I wasn't brave enough to ask for something else as I hate to waste, so cannot speak to whether or not they would have accommodated.

A beautiful applejack cocktail. I asked for something original but not too sweet. Great recommendation.

I love finding little gems that capture the spirit of a city. Went in for a cocktail because I was staying near the hotel but I would come back simply to visit the bar. The cocktails were original and the overall atmosphere has that high end vibe with leather chairs and a marble bar. It's a delicious way to enjoy a New Orleans vibe without fighting crowds. Ask for Howard! If you give him some guidelines, he can create you a completely unique cocktail.

We planned to have dinner here and was seated in a casual area with lower tables. While nice to sit for a casual drink was not up to par for parties who planned to dine in. Our first server we asked to move had declined our request. Stating there wasn't any room to accommodate. Which to be fair is fair when it's a Saturday night. However, we had made reservations and was astonished this wasn't an accommodation for a party they knew was coming in ahead of time. Thankfully, my friend went up to the host to request a table change, and was eventually accommodated with a booth. Booth can sit 6 people comfortably and 7 was a tad squish so they immediately offered an ottoman for someone to sit in the end. Food was delicious, most of us ordered the steak and frites.

However, a few of our drinks took longer than expected to arrive, which temporarily paused the fun and conversation while we wondered where they were. That aside, the staff were all very pleasant. You'll find street parking and there were some parking garages within walking distance.

They seated us indoors (we had a reservation) and we were pumped because the indoors looks very inviting. Jumped into cocktails, I first had the honeydew spritz, then the Negroni. Drinks are so delicious. What stands out is the food! We had a few dishes to try. Starting with the Calas, which had 4 pieces and came with one of the most delicious butters. Tried it and didn't think it needed it but then when I put it on you would get your hand stabbed if you tried to take it away. We also got the crawfish bread which was absolutely spectacular. I can't stop thinking about it. It also came with a spicy butter that really make the dish stand out. I also wanted to hoard the butter here. We stayed long enough to where the snack menu came out. We had each one fresh tuna tartelette, and a crab tartelette each, which was outstanding. Since we wanted to move on and try other foods, we left. However, I must say that the service was outstanding and the food and drinks worth the trip! Support small businesses! This place is highly regarded for a reason.

I got the classic jewel sazerak because I liked their twist on it. The drink came in a frosted glass neat. I thought it was a small portion, but it was actually just right. It was very licorice forward and you really couldn't taste the other ingredients that veered me to order the cocktail. We had a shot sent over and whatever it was I would order again! It had some spice and lime that was extremely balanced and delicious. Highly recommended place to stop in for a drink and food. The menu was small, but will leave an impression if you order.

The place is beautifully decorated, food was a bit pricey but worth the experience, and the star of the show was definitely our amazing server Charlie! It was the only place I felt in the French Quarter that I really felt the presence of ghosts. To be clear, I don't care about the money, but I value the good energy I receive in NOLA. The oysters and the other item I got were mediocre. But then when I left, I saw a sign outside saying a dozen oysters were on special during the Happy Hour period I was there in for $12. So they looked me in the eye and decided to rob me (not of money, of human decency) instead of letting me know about the special. Stay away from this crappy place, there are countless cool people and joints in this wonderful town.
