I am very frustrated by the service I received today. When me and my boyfriend came in we were sat in a corner away from the general seating, which would not be an issue if anyone had come to our table. We waited at least 25 minutes and there was never a server at our table- no drink orders or introductions. Multiple times staff looked at our table and did not approach us, multiple servers were stood watching the game on the other side of the restaurant. Service does not have to be quick or entirely professional, but I do expect it to happen at some point. We both like coming here so it's pretty disappointing to have to leave like this. read more

Really bad experience. I organized a family meet up here with their floor manager Logan. Leading up to the evening, I spoke to him several times to confirm the reservation and he personally confirmed it. When we arrived the hostess and the girl training with her had no idea what we were talking about, they didn't have a table ready, we were told we'd all have to wait 90 - 120 minutes, and Logan wouldn't even come up front to face us... Even when we demanded to speak to him, we were told the floor manager was busy. No apology, nothing. That should have been a sign to just move on, but we didn't know where else to go ... so we got on their reservation list, left our phone number and just kinda congregated outside. Logan would come out on the floor to work and every time I would walk in to speak with him, he would ignore me and walk away to the kitchen or the back quickly. We waited nearly two hours and the waitress seemed quite unhappy overall... just kinda bleh and snappy and had a downer energy. We order items off the menu, but several of the items we came there for, after seeing them on Yelp, were no longer on the menu. Half of our table got our drinks in a moral time frame... the other half got ours waaaaay too late after ordering. The food was bland... On Yelp everything looks exciting... in reality everything was just kinda flavorless, smaller in portion, and ... very much like the food they serve in the hospital and military cafeterias... like, it's not bad for a super discounted lunch, but not worth waiting two hours for... or making a reservation for, or inviting family to. I was super embarrassed I picked this place without trying it out first, but the reviews online look so good. Logan wouldn't make eye contact with me out of shame... and when I finally caught him he told me he's on his way to speak to our table... AND NEVER VISITED US... EVER. . I obviously will not be revisiting this restaurant and really think Logan needs to be retrained... or go back to floor service than management. Just my humble suggestion. Sad! Otherwise, the atmosphere is pretty loud... which isn't a bad thing... just keep it in mind and plan cost date nights elsewhere. read more

I like their happy hour. Good selection of very interesting cocktails. The only problem I have is they seem to feel that when it's hot outside - like today - their customers want to sit in a refrigerator. Icy cold sitting at the bar. And because it's hot outside I'm wearing shorts and a golf shirt. They could lower their electric bill and get me to stay for more than one drink if they'd just moderate the temperature. (I took a photo but I'm not going to post it bc the artist in me can't bear to post unappealing photos). Over easy egg, perfect and fresh, part of the reason the stars are 3. On that, the salad. Also pretty good. I had them put the bacon on the side for my husband bc I don't eat pork, but if I did I would've been so disappointed. It was completely cold (also pre-prepared with the toast with cheese melted on it, obviously) and more greasy and limp than my hair on a rainy day. Coffee was great! Pineapple, great. Today at pub W I came in for happy hour. I had splendid customer service. And a lovely environment but my FOOD! My son had chicken strips and fries the chicken was old dry and crunchy the fries were so salty I didn't let him eat either got the chicken remade. I ordered a spicy nacho and Nashville fries my nachos were BURNT you could taste it! The fries were super salty greasy and over seasoned. It wasn't busy when I ordered my meal idk who the cook is today but they don't need to be back there i'm upset I came here today to spend my money. read more

Chupacabra, is real, it exists, it is here. It is not folklore! When I got home, I had to look into the Hal Smith operations. It is big. I didn't know that they operate some of the top restaurants that my wife and I have enjoyed. Charleston's has always been our top favorite in Broken Arrow. In OKC on the east shore of lake Hefner, Mama Roja and the Hefner Grill are fabulous! They are worth the drive! There are others that we didn't like, but let's stay focused on today's visit to Pub W. The Pub W menu is a very diverse offering. There is something to delight anyone, and a beverage to match. We were there mid-afternoon to avoid the crowd. The restaurant was fairly empty of patrons, but not for long. We were seated in a comfortable booth. Attractive furnishings throughout the restaurant. Friendly waitstaff. The many delicious choices on the salad section, had my wife struggling. The exotic sounding Moroccan Salmon Salad was the winner. I don't think she could have been happier. She loved it! It was a very attractive bowl and as described in the menu; a combination of herb marinated salmon, roasted bell peppers, mixed greens cucumber, grape tomatoes, balsamic-glaze, black pepper and bleu cheese. She rated it as one of the best salads she has had in Tulsa, in direct competition with her favorite salad at Charleston's. We'll be back! Under promise and over deliver. That is a good way to do business and keep customers. The menu only offered a summary of the ingredients and promised nothing, but the name alone had connotations "Chupacabra!" It delivered! A perfect sandwich of spicy, tinga chicken, grilled jalapenos, grilled onions, Muenster cheese, spicy aioli, jalapeno toast. It had the flavor and it had the fire. All wrapped in perfect buttery, crisp toast! And then there were the fries. They were as good as the sandwich! One of the best meals I have had in Tulsa and it was just a freaking sandwich and fries! This place is Hip and the menu is awesome Love the high top tables in the middle and the nice spacing. Food was awesome came out timely and reasonably priced. Cocktails were delivered by someone else who put his fingers on the rim of my glass... I guess I just don't understand this whoever is close grabs the cocktails and delivers them... Service by committee ... in addition I saw him all over the restaurant front door / the kitchen/ server next to our table ...lots of energy that boy has!! Restaurant seemed overstaffed and was cold ...with a lot of customers wearing their Jackets/ coats inside so maybe management should be more worried about their patrons and not their employees being comfortable ! ... and yes I told our server and it was ignored. It was nice to be able to sit in the outdoor patio area when the weather was nice. The service was pretty good too. Our waitress was kind. I ordered the buffalo chicken mac and cheese. I'm not a huge burger kind of person, so this being a non-burger option (plus I'm always drawn to food with some spice!!), made it stand out on the menu. It was pretty good, though I would have liked a bit more flavor and spice. The mac and cheese was creamy, and both the cheese and pasta had a good consistency. The portion was decent as well. The ratio of mac and cheese to buffalo chicken worked well, though I probably would have liked just a little more of the chicken. The breading on the chicken was a softer kind, I would have liked it a bit crispier, but it was easier to eat that way I think, especially paired with the mac and cheese. I'm just thinking a bit more contrast of those two textures might have been nice, and personally I usually prefer my breading on the crispier side anyway. I liked the addition of some spinach (or was it swiss chard, I can't remember?) in the pasta. I think it would have been nice to include extra buffalo sauce or something so people could drizzle on more, to their taste. The food could have been a bit hotter (temp) for me I think. Especially with something like mac and cheese, I like it to be pretty hot... I think it's just that warm, comfort food vibe that you want, you know? Price felt slightly high to me. Overall not bad, and I'd go back at some point, just probably not very frequently. read more

This place is a comfortable and fresh restaurant. The vibe is bar food and the menu reflects that but is still very complete for the hungry diner. We don't drink much but have had some good beers and cocktails here. The appetizers are delicious and I prefer the buffalo Brussel sprouts. The menu features many sandwiches and all that we've tried have been good. I especially like the Chupacabra sandwich. The sweet potato fries round out a good meal. I'm soooooo happy there is now one in Tulsa!! TULSANS!!! Go on Wednesdays I'm pretty sure and you can get some great wines by the bottle for amazing prices. Charming little bar and grill type place near the hotel and hospital area. Great burgers with some fun additions. We split the pimento cheeseburger which was unique and yummy; we both wanted to eat both halves. The other sandwich was a brie and chicken sandwich, which we were warned was a little messy...accurately. It was good too but nothing on the burger. It's much bigger than it seems from the back patio where the hotel faced, and had a nice vibe. We were glad we bypassed the steakhouse, as this was much more interesting.
