I waited there for 30 minutes for just the pretzel bites since by the slice is made ready to go. Watched about 10 orders get taken and made before I had to go up to the counter and say something. His reason "I didn't see the ticket". He called out orders for burgers and everything before mine. I really really wanted to be nice cause most places the workers work hard and are understaffed but I can't say the same here since everyone else was getting food within 5 minutes. I for sure was intentionally ignored since i was standing nearby the counter waiting, this wasn't just a accident. My advice be sure to say something cause they won't check your food for you here if they don't want to. Got an entire pepperoni pizza around 930 pm and a friday and we didn't get our food until 1010pm. I don't blame them, clearly they're not here for the service, they're here for all the drunk hungry people. So I must say, this place is only good for those late night cravings, and I say that loosely, because for one, they close at midnight, and another, this is laughlin, being up late is not this city's forte. Went to PT's Express yesterday. We just ordered a pizza a few weeks ago that was great. A friend recommended the chicken bacon quesadilla. Ordered 2 and they are loaded with handfuls of cheese, chicken and bacon. On the side was sour cream, salsa, and guacamole sauce. This was the best quesadilla that I've ever had. We have stopped here twice and both times the food was great! Our only reservation was the time it took for the food to get done. Because it appears to be a fast order place in reality it's more made to order. Other than if you want some pizza by the slice, you could be in and out. My wife claims the onion rings are some of the best she has ever had and I tend to agree with her. So just remember if you seek this eatery out, just be patient. As the burgers are awesome too. First the good. The employees who took both my orders were very friendly and nice. Now the food. Visit #1- got a cheeseburger and fries. I watched the cook prepare my burger. She pulled out a pre cooked burger from a steam tray and thew it back on the grill to melt the cheese. The result is a very dried out flavorless burger. Who's brilliant idea is it to PRE COOK a burger?? We are not talking fancy dining here. How hard could it be to made a burger when it is ordered? Fries were way below average. Threw more than half in the garbage. Also of note is that the pizza they had out for slices this day were clearly burned. Visit #2- I needed something fast and the pizza was not burned this time so I got 2 slices. 1.5 stars. It was passable but obviously not good quality ingredients. If you just need something to put in your stomach go for it. Why you would put out burned pizza for sale or pre cook burgers is obviously a training issue. But I'm reviewing this for what it is--a pizza joint, in a casino, catering to buzzed people roaming from slots to blackjack tables, looking for some munchies. The line here always takes forever and nothing on the menu is any good. The pizza slices are your best best, because they are huge and will actually be warm, whereas the burgers and fries are ice cold. Looking for a quick bite, I ordered a chili cheese dog and french fries. There wasn't anyone in line so my order was taken right away. I like the decor of the place and it even has a view of the river. Well, for whatever reason, it took a little while for my food to be served. Since I had to wait, I figured it would be nice and hot. This place was better than I expected it to be. We ordered #4 cheeseburgers (you have to pay extra for the cheese), one regular fry, one order of onion rings, one order of the rosemary/truffle fries, a strawberry shake, and #3 sodas. The tab came to about $40 which seemed high to me at first but once I saw the portion sizes, it is actually pretty reasonable. We couldn't eat everything that we got so it would be a good idea to share with others. The food was pretty tasty and the shake was great. I also liked that they have a serve yourself condiment bar. The view from the restaurant in wonderful if you score a seat by the window. The main downside is that they really need someone to keep up on cleaning the dining room area, no one wants to have to clean their own table before they sit down. Besides that I'd probably return. The more I eat here, the more I'm satisfied from all the food. Wild Style belongs to a higher category than In-N-Out because there's a lot of hot dogs, a lot of chicken, a lot of pizza, a lot of burgers, and so many other delicious items. It's particularly satisfying to have their Chicago dog since I'm not very familiar with Chicago's cuisines on food and a hot dog actually goes well with a pickle spear and other assorted toppings. They also have New York hotdogs and Mexican hotdogs, which is good if you want to have a variety of items while staying in one simple, well-designed location. Ambiance here is great: wild colors, a lot of confidence in preparation and service, along with environmental objects for looking such as the "beach" near the hotel's windows and the little boardwalk leading to a tourist boat. My little brother in particular likes going on a boat ride near Edgewater drive; in fact, he's more than happy with pizza and he and I have talked off and on about how nice Wild Style's presentation of food is due to their confidence under the hotel's light and casino. For me it feels good to have some of Wild Style's garlic cheese breadsticks with marinara while looking at the beach outside the windows in the lobby as machines inside the hotel roll with random bits of noise, a pleasing kind of noise. Sometimes I'll find myself over the years having a nice ice cream cone and beginning to wonder where all the magic went. So much care is put in by the workers on huge condiment bottles and it's not unusual to find different ready-to-go pizza slices such as pineapple Hawaiian and sausage and pepperoni or just sausage. They've got great fries! I can load them up with bleu cheese dressing bits and have chunks of the bleu cheese bulk, or I can have sweet chili with lots of cheese for my appetite on a hot, crisp day in summer or on a modest chill in winter. Burgers here are better than In-N-Out's because there's heavier concentration on preparing and grilling the hamburger patties and I can get lots of different toppings including sriracha and mushrooms. A mall for burgers and pizza and other items is also located near the Edgewater hotel but I prefer the busy and comfortable vibes experienced at Wild Style where tourists stop for a bite and say hello to some of the local residents. The Mexican hotdog has cotija cheese, plenty of avocado slices, and enough lettuce to keep the dining interesting. Burgers here are hotter, juicier, and tastier than In-N-Out's. Here I can either have a couple of nicely prepared hotdogs or I can sum things up with a hot burger and some breadsticks with marinara. Workers are nice here, too. A huge variety of items in the delicious food categories keeps me coming back for more treats and surprises in a lobby that might as well be a beach. read more
