Poor Customer Service! While the salon is serene and clean the owner is extremely rude. This is my second visit and I was pleased with my nails but witnessed the owner being extremely rude to a customer. The customer said she didn't want acrylic and problably the customer was a little confused about the product line. But the owner "Tracy" went off on her telling her "you don't know what you are talking about!" The client then said" why are you being so rude? I need you to explain the products to me." Tracy then said: " I am not rude you just don't know what you are talking about!" As the owner ran out to an appointment she laughed and told all of us: "I need a break from all you guys!" The salon was not full and it was 11:00am. The other technicians appear to be afraid of her. read more

I go to this salon to get SNS done, and it looks very pretty and natural when you get the first set for only $30. However, they DO NOT use sns color, they apply the pink and polish it with normal polish which is already straying from the SNS system, where the color is supposed to be powder itself. With that said, the nails look nice and shiny two weeks, and by the third week there was no chipping but the color wasn't on the very edge/top of the nails. When I got my $22 refill on SNS, some nails weren't done as nicely, so the bottom edge grew out thickly. I see the review saying that it's counterfeit sns powder. Idk anything about that, but the bottom line is that these are durable shiny nails that won't bend up like normal acrylic overlays. If you want enhanced nails that last, this is a good option. If you truly want SNS, find another spa. This is just a side note, but I noticed for some reason they rush me out of the spa when my nails are drying. Once I left and as soon as I got outside I smudged everyone of my nails. They did repaint them for free but I would just ignore them if they insist your nails are dry and it hasn't been at least 45 minutes. read more

I was going for SNS manicure. I researched the process on YouTube. The creator of SNS explained all the steps in getting this acrylic manicure. I went to P&T because the had a poster advertising this technique. I was eager to try something new. My first set was beautiful. I went once a month for a refill and this is were the problem starts. There is only one technician who does this and each time I got a refill($40/30) the work was sloppy. I had a total of 4 SNS manicures and I refuse to give them any more of my money. I found out later that they were using cheaper/counterfeit supplies on my nails. They are mixing SNS dipping powder with regular acrylic powder. I was going into various local salons that offered SNS and most don't. I did find a great salon on Baltimore pk. in E. Lansdowne called ULTRA NAIL STUDIO. read more

I am a customer who followed my nail technician Rose to another salon when she moved. I am sorry but I will not and can not continue coming here. I came in for an acrylic overlay on my natural nails. My nail technician Rose seemed distracted and irritated when I arrived. It turns out that she had a disagreement with another customer she served earlier. Not sure how this is my fault yet I felt the backlash from it. Again I have had my nails and feet done with this same nail technician for over a year so I can't believe that she would take this approach with me. The service felt rushed and because I wanted to save money and not get dip powder and gel polish on my toes-she got upset and began to overcharge for services to try and make up the difference in money lost. I'm not a cheap person but if I want to get something different instead of what you are used to me getting done then I should be allowed to plus I'm paying for it. I'm so disappointed with this recent experience and will not be returning. I can't continue to go to a nail salon where it's considered acceptable for the nail technician to get an attitude with any of their customers who question them or ask for a different service all while you first come in for your appointment. read more

I've been to this Salon several times as they're very close to my home. During my most recent visit on a Saturday morning there were only 3 technicians working. I arrived at 9 and wasn't serviced until 10:55. There's no customer service whatsoever. They don't greet you nor do they ask what services you need. Had a great experience my first time at PT nails, Super professional and clean, large space with a lot of chairs. Didn't need an appt and it wasn't super busy (even on a saturday). They do a ni e hot stone massage and have an array of services. I got a regular mani and pedi for $30. The only thing was my nail tech didn't speak great english so we had a few bumps in communication but she was fantastic, detail oriented, and did a bangin job! read more

I came to this location with my daughter (5years old) the first time they did a lovely job manicuring my daughters nails and mine. I went for a refill and a manicure for my daughter. my 5 year old was a bit playful this day laughing and talking loud. I over heard the nail tech say to another client that my daughter was a nuisance which was clearly uncalled for. She than proceeds to talk down on my parenting ability because my daughter would not be quiet. and just then she tells me that they do not serve 10 year olds or younger which was strange because this was our second visit. Got the deluxe pedicure. Loved it! Seems like it lasted forever. Sat in the chair at 4:40 and didn't get up until 5:30. I like that they lined the basin with plastic and used fresh out the pack pumice stones. Nice color selection. They had my favorite OPI color. Did a decent paint job and the parrafin felt great. I generally go to PT Nails to get my feet, hands, and eyebrows done. It is very relaxing and clean. I tend to go on Mondays or Tuesdays when it is less crowded and I get full attention. Last night I got my feet done by Annie who did an amazing job. I was relaxed and she got rid of all the dead skin. She did not rush, but instead took her time and made sure that she was thorough. The owner did my eyebrows and hands. I got the SNS powder treatment and I was very happy with the work that she did. I have never been treated rudely/ disrespectfully. I enjoy this nail shop because they give speciality pedicures that really invigorate my feet and legs. The leg and foot massages really give you comfort. The regular polish selection could be a little more extensive but overall a good experience. I've been here three times and haven't been disappointed yet. read more

I was initially very impressed with the gel manicure I got here. It looked great, each nail looked just about perfect, and the technician was pretty gentle. BUT... it started chipping four days later!! I had to go back about a week and half after I got the manicure to have them remove it. I know my job is especially hard on my nails (I work in early childhood and literally wash my hands dozens of times a day), but only four days for a gel manicure is ridiculous. But I'm still considering giving them another shot since they're so close to my house. read more

Just went there today for the first time. Pedicure was fine but they rush the whole process. I swear I was getting my feet done for 20 minutes when I'm normally used to approx 35-40 minutes. Anywho, they don't remove the excess skin that grows around your nail. Amy is really nice every sweet. But the rest of the staff is rude. So rude that my second time visiting for a nail repair I left without finishing my service. I asked for my bill & left with my nails unpolished. The person that was doing my repairs was angry that I said loud enough for other customers to hear that I spent $75 including tip 4 days ago and I have three broken nails. I tried this expensive SNS or SLS (what ever it's called) new manicure. Well the special expensive acrylic broke after 4 days. The person doing my nail repair had medium/lighter brown hair and she was down right nasty!!! She forcefully pushed my hands and fingers away from her every chance she got. Not to mention she every time I made eye contact with her she rolled her eyes as if I was being annoying. I decided that I'd rather spend my extra money enjoying myself instead of on bailing my self out for slapping her so I got out of there quick before I lost my temper. read more

My first impression of this place was excellent. But not long before I was approached with can I help you and I respond with what services I wanted and then turned away because I had my children with me. My two daughters 13 and 3 yrs old who I promised I would do Mommy/Daughter day with. My girls had been waiting all week to get their nails done with Mommy and I was long over due Mommy/Daughter time. As we walked away my three year old asked me; "Mommy why are we leaving?" I was never asked if the children were being serviced and have never been so humiliated and embarrassed. I would give this salon 0 stars if possible. My nail technician was rude and mean. I asked for another coat of nail polish on my nails because the polish was see through and she was about to apply top coat. She started speaking loudly and angrily in another language to the owner and being aggressive with my hands. My pedicure was mediocre and the polish job did not look salon quality. Then I got a chin wax from Tracy the owner who had been doing my mothers nails for years so I figured I could trust her. Well...I was wrong. After the wax I was in the bathroom and looked in the mirror and had a large burn on my chin. I showed Tracy and she literally pulled out Vaseline and rubbed it on my chin with no surprise about the burn. She knew she burnt me but didn't say so and was just gonna let me walk out!! It took two over a month for my skin on my chin recover. I would never go here again and would not recommend this nail salon to anyone! read more
