I came in again with my homegirl and got a different nail tech to do my pedi and she was way more pleasant and detailed. She was playfully shady but was very respectful and I tipped extra because I appreciated the new experience much more than the first time. As always the place was clean, and not so full that we had to wait a long time for service. If they served likkle wine or lemon water or something that would take it to the next level.

However, I'd go anywhere else if I had an option. I hate that it's cash only - at the least the other spots nearby let you Venmo. They don't give a massage with a pedi so I always go somewhere else for that. And, they suck at time management. I asked for a 5:15 appointment, they told me the latest they could do is 4:30, so I left early, and then waited 45 min for the mani to start at 5:15 pm as I'd originally requested. Wtf? Just say 5:15 then, or don't over schedule yourself. I wish I had somewhere else in west to go, but the options suck so this is what I've got.

I was pretty disappointed with my first visit here. I came by since I saw the reviews on Yelp and…read morereally loved Angel's Nails which was here before. I decided to get a gel manicure and my nails chipped on DAY TWO. In the past when I've had gel nails, it lasts a week to weeks, this time it chipped very quickly. The salon also didn't give me the luxe vibe that you long for during a manicure. I missed my warm towel with the quick massage. I'm going to hope it was an off day, but I think there's a lot of other good salons in the area.

I really wanted to love this place because it's so conveniently located for me…read more I went in for a dip powered manicure and they have an incredible selection of colors. Everyone I spoke with was super nice and they took me as a walk in on a Friday. When my nail tech took my old dip off she was a bit sloppy, so some of the melted dip powder got into my fingers (it's not the easiest to get off), as well as nail polish under my nails. I asked for almond but she did a rounded tip instead, which isn't a huge deal but I would have picked a different color. Lastly, a few of my nails were filed down unevenly, and a few of the tips are ragged. It was $45+ tip for the dip which is a reasonable price but I don't think it was the best job. I do think my nail tech was newer because I saw the work of a few other techs and it was amazing. I will definitely return because it's so easy to get to, but I wish I had gotten the names of some of the more experienced techs so I could request them.

Paint was all over skin and had to ask to correct multiple times. Then the pedicure was closer to a polish change, and a bad one at that. They did not ask length before cutting (uneven even after correcting) and did not cut cuticles. Somehow I left with rougher feet than when I arrived. Had to go to another shop to redo 5 days later when they kept catching on things and the new shop asked if it was the first time I did it myself. They also said cash only as I went to pay even though it advertises cards and tap to pay on window, so I had to leave my phone to go get cash from home.

It's now hard to wear sneakers and it is visibly and sensationally apparent that the injured toes that are swollen and painful on the sides that were cut/ ripped too deeply. I felt the pain and saw the blood instantly, and said something but the nail tech still didn't take her time after that. Her apology was brief and the mistakes were left unaddressed at the end. I have had pedicures and manicures before but this was easily my most painful experience, both during and after. I also found that the polish on my finger nails should've been applied closer to the bottom of the nail (where the cuticle was). Why would you go through the work of removing the cuticle if you're not going to also take the time to apply the polish well? Maybe some of the other nail techs are more gentle but it'll be a long time before I consider going back. It was busy so some nail techs must be good, but I can only report on my very negative experience.
