I asked the receptionist if I could make an appointment for a manicure in person and she said I needed to call. Weird, but okay. I was looking at the menu for not even a minute before the receptionist rudely told me I can take a picture and to leave. I find that to be pretty rude as I have never experienced that at any nail salon in my life and it's not a particularly fancy or even clean salon. The interaction with the receptionist as a whole was a complete turn off from me visiting this salon in the future if this is how they treat potential clientele.

One thing I did want to note that I appreciated was that when my tech nicked me a tiny bit while using the e-file he apologized immediately and cleaned the area before moving forward. I knew it was a total accident and can happen anywhere, but that was the first time I've had it acknowledged that way. Overall a great experience, and I'll definitely come back.

The space is clean and spread out, where you don't feel like you're on top of all the other customers. They had a variety of colors and the service was great. They insisted that they do my manicure while in the pedicure chair. Not sure about you, but twisting your whole body over so your both your hands are on one side of the chair do not exactly make for an enjoyable pedicure. The manicurist spent 30 seconds rubbing lotion on my hands and the manicure she gave was streaky beyond belief. This is the second time I have tried this spot since it is around the corner from me & while I got a basic pedicure the last time which was fine, this experience sealed the deal for me to bring my money elsewhere. I would rather spend $60+ for better quality and service compared to the $53 ($45 basic mani pedi + tip) I spent here for a manicure I'm already taking off 2 days later. Don't waste your time or money at this place.

However, I'd go anywhere else if I had an option. I hate that it's cash only - at the least the other spots nearby let you Venmo. They don't give a massage with a pedi so I always go somewhere else for that. And, they suck at time management. I asked for a 5:15 appointment, they told me the latest they could do is 4:30, so I left early, and then waited 45 min for the mani to start at 5:15 pm as I'd originally requested. Wtf? Just say 5:15 then, or don't over schedule yourself. I wish I had somewhere else in west to go, but the options suck so this is what I've got.
