Really slow, very messy acrylic full set. My nails are very clumpy, uneven, crooked, and overall poorly done. They're dents in the acrylic and the paint is not great. There's a reason this place is cheap. And it's not a good cheap. I came in on a Friday evening for a basic mani pedi at 6:45pm (they close at 8pm) and was the sole person. They insisted that they do my manicure while in the pedicure chair. Not sure about you, but twisting your whole body over so your both your hands are on one side of the chair do not exactly make for an enjoyable pedicure. The manicurist spent 30 seconds rubbing lotion on my hands and the manicure she gave was streaky beyond belief. This is the second time I have tried this spot since it is around the corner from me & while I got a basic pedicure the last time which was fine, this experience sealed the deal for me to bring my money elsewhere. I would rather spend $60+ for better quality and service compared to the $53 ($45 basic mani pedi + tip) I spent here for a manicure I'm already taking off 2 days later. i just came from this place very upset. the attention is the worst, the wax service also is too bad. I had a wax service and I have to keep checking and asking to do it again because it was not good. the treat was too rough also with my face, it was like the wax was expensive and didn't want to waste. and in the end basically they made me left tip. don't recommend to anybody. read more

I come here regularly for mani-pedis. This salon is your best value. Each tech I've worked with has been lovely. While there aren't tons of bells and whistles- it's solid. I don't need candy or hot tea while getting my nails done. I don't want to talk, and I want crappy daytime tv on. Judge Judy? Yes. Rachael Ray? Ok then. I've never had a bad experience here. My gel manicures have always lasted a week plus (which is above average for me), and pedicures stay stunning for a month plus. Regular manicures last a week if I don't pick at my nails. I would have stayed quiet, but I realize they didn't do the same with another customer that came in shortly after. We both received pedicures, and they allowed her jet to be on and properly did her service. Unfortunately on my end the bottom of my foot was not scrub at all. My water was just a little water, not even enough to cover the jet. Not to mention they never turned on my jet at all. I have been frequenting Pink Nails for about two months now. Each time I have gone, I have scheduled an appointment over the phone with a day or two of notice. Overall, the quality of the manicures and pedicures I have received has been great and the overall customer service and scheduling leave some room for improvement. I feel the pricing is very fair and consistent with the standard going rates for gel manicures, and on the cheaper end for pedicures. My first experience was lacking a bit on the customer service side. I had an appointment for myself and a friend, and one of us was able to get our manicure immediately and the other had to wait 30 minutes before being seen. This felt strange since we did make appointments. My second visit was with two friends, we had all planned to do pedicures. One of us scheduled a gel manicure too. My friends were both finished with their pedicures (and the following one manicure) before my pedicure was finished. The timing was strange. While we were there, another group of three walked in stating they had called ahead. There was not someone able to help them immediately, and they seemed very frustrated by that. They expressed that they were not told there would be a wait over the phone, so I can understand the frustration there. My third and most recent visit was for a gel manicure and regular pedicure on a Friday at lunch time. I had made an appointment in advance, and this time I was taken promptly. My nails are on the weaker side, so they often chip and break, even with gel polish on top. My gel manicures from Pink Nails have held up for at least two weeks before beginning to chip. I'm happy with the quality and price point and will continue to return to Pink Nails. read more

Went today for a manicure/gel. The employees are all very nice and accommodating. The place was clean and well maintained. What I always look for is if the instruments they use are individually wrapped and sterilized from an autoclave. I did not see this. Which will make me not return. I have been here a few times now. They are slightly cheaper than peer places in the area which is always a plus. They do gel and dip amongst other services. The first time I went there, I got a dip which started coming off within the first week. They were very easy to work with to get it fixed for free. I don't know why I made the mistake of coming here again after my last experience but it was close to work and I figured it would be a quick go to and the rest of the reviews are all so great. Stay away. Don't waste your time or money. They have no idea what they're doing! The nail polish is all watered down and their prices are way too over priced. I asked for a French pedicure & the man that probably just started doing nails yesterday was the one assigned to me. He took over 45 minutes on my feet in the end I just got regular polish because he looked like he was just doing busy work. I had to ask him to cut my nails then file my nails cuz clearly he had no idea what he was doing. I should've left after my horrible pedicure but I decided to give him a chance with my manicure. What a horrible horrible horrible mistake. I have UV gel on and it's usually self explanatory what to do. This guy started doing busy work with the buffers and then when he started putting powder on my nails instead of gel I knew I needed to get the hell out of there but again I gave him a chance to finish and maybe he was doing it differently than what I'm used to. The other three women there just kept starring and looking away as if they knew whatever he was doing was horrible but didn't want to be bothered. Anyway, long story short I ended up asking him to just cut my nails and put regular clear nail polish on. He said ok. Buffed my nails a little more going some busy work I asked again if he can put clear nail polish on. He said sure then he asked if Im paying card or cash. So He asked me to pay $55 and then said he'll put on the clear after I paid I said I didn't want it. They're horrible & I'll probably be going somewhere else to get them done the right way. I arrived at my appointment on time, and after waiting an hour, they still did not re-do my nails, yet instead gave me a coke and a $50 and told me to leave... The man doing my nails took way longer than any other place I have gotten my nails done, and they just looked poorly done, hence probably why it took less than 2 days to fall out. I went to this nail salon in the 22nd. By the 27th, the gel polish started chipping off three of my nails. I went back on the 28th to have them repaired. Upon my arrival the nail tech asked me to show the loyalty card as proof that I was there just a few days ago. I had no problem with doing so and showed her my card with the Sept. 22nd written in. Now here is where the problem began, not 5 minutes later, a white woman walked in with the same problem. Two of her nails were damaged after getting them done a few days ago. The nail tech just asked her what she did to damage them and told her to have a seat so they can be repaired. At that point, I was completely baffled and couldn't help but ask the tech why I, a black woman, had to show proof and the white woman didn't. The nail tech had no explanation and just looked at me with a blank stair. The white woman apologized for the concern I had and tried to tell me that the lady may have recognized her she also stated that she understood my concern. She actually looked like she sincerely felt bad about what transpired. Well, I'm no stranger to this salon myself and have even referred my mother, a co-worker and a random Facebook friend to them. However, I am happy to say that I will NEVER return to this nail salon again and I will tell the people I referree of my experience so they will never return again as well. If I have to prove that I used your services then everyone, regardless of color should have to prove it as well. read more

Cons: *Not the greatest fan of my pedicure; lots of little nips and filing under the nail bed (ouch!), and exfoliated the smooth part of my foot more than the pads. The gentlemen who did my pedi seemed more hesitant. *Decent massage, not amazing. *Tips not accepted on credit cards. ****Edit: 1.5 days later and the polish quality is showing it's true colors. My nail technician was Amy and she was just the sweetest, she was willing to do my nails according to my preference especially when i kept insisting for rounder edges. Went in for a pedicure this morning. The foot and leg massage during the pedicure was amazing. They also used a warm stone which I didn't even realize was going to be part of the pedicure. The place is clean and friendly. I also got a back and neck massage while my toe polish was drying. I will absolutely be back and plan to tell my friends about it. I've given this place multiple tries and am now done. Most recently got a pedicure and, once again, started chipping a mere 24h later despite zero activity, so I'll be redoing them myself on vacation. I watched the tech clip my nails, do literally ONE swipe of a file to "shape", half heartedly barely apply base coat (one dip for all 5 nails on each foot), apply the polish as if it were her first time ever (uneven and no smooth borders), and get top coat all over my skin. Massage was literally a joke. I quickly realized this was not going to end well, and even though I pointed this out, was told it was fine. $30 plus tip and I literally could have done in better myself. Same thing happened last time with my pedicure and gel manicure x2, so guess joke is on me. It's convenient location wise but never again. Staff is quite unfriendly which is just icing on the cake. Hate to say it, but after literally 4 tries in about a year, highly recommend going elsewhere. read more
