We are having a pool put in and needed a few trees removed and the others trimmed. Our timeline was tight but PRV rearranged their schedule to fit us in on a Saturday before the pool diggers are scheduled. They came with a team of 6 and they were all friendly, professional and fast moving. One of our dead trees was very tall...we were in awe of the skill as we watched a man climb the tree, hold the chainsaw with one hand and carefully cut down branch by branch. They did an incredible job, cleaned up everything and the price was very fair. We are Realtors and we will be referring them to our clients. read more

I hired these guys to do a very large job removing very large trees off of my 2 acres property. They showed up first thing in the morning and started working at 7 AM and finish the job by 7 PM. They were highly professional, effective and reasonable. The customer service was fantastic. I enjoy supporting local businesses and I'm glad I did. I highly recommend these guys to anybody that needs services regarding tree cutting tree removal or anything related to that business! Keep up the great work guys! read more

I would recommend PRV Tree Service to anyone looking to have tree service done or gutter cleaning. I got an estimate the with in a few days. The work was completed quickly and I was 100% satisfied. Also, the crew was very courteous, professional, and friendly. I am a return customer and will be for years to come! read more

great bid for the work requested. put down a deposit of just under half the bid and a crew of 4 came out on the day and time promised and pruned a large oak tree and four crepe myrtles. they spent over three hours here, cleaned up and used a blower to get what they missed (and picked that up too). they constantly checked to make sure we were satisfied and to see if we wanted more taken off the tree. paid the balance with no hidden fees or up charges. very satisfied. will definitely use this company again when we need more trimming done. will also refer others when asked about tree service. great job!! read more

They left a card on my door so I scheduled an estimate with them and two others that had done the same. Appt was for 9 and 9:30 rolled around and no sign of them or calls so I called. The scheduler said they were 15 minutes away and that they had tried to call and although i was skeptical I told her to have them come by. 10:15 and still no sign of them which was 1h15 after appt and 45 after I called so I cancelled. Would not recommend off my experience and other reviews posted. read more

I got a flyer on my door awhile back from these people so we tried them out to clear out some brush, trim a few trees and generally pick up a neglected back yard. At least 6 men showed up and were taken around shown exactly what we wanted done. It honestly wasn't that much work but due to personal physical limitations we needed help. They wanted $500 & tried to say it included the 20% discount on the flyer. When we said we wouldn't pay that they then said $400 was the price that included the discount. We told them "okay" but that we expected it all to be done WELL before we'd pay up. Not too long later the bell rang and they wanted their money. My 65 yr old mother went to check on the work and they literally had not done 1/2 of what was agreed upon. So she went back around and pointed out work that they "overlooked". I watched from the window as they rolled their eyes to each other, started calling her names in Spanish (which they wrongly assumed we didn't understand a word of), and then started telling her they couldn't "f-cking" do X now because the "sh!t" wouldn't be accepted at the "f-cking" landfill. Really guys?!? Do you talk to your mother this way and gang up to laugh at her? THAT is F-ing ridiculous. Thing is, I'd call to complain but if they'd act this way in front of our faces, what would they do if our back is turned? Lazy A-Holes. read more

Their quote for our yard was very reasonable. They showed up on time. The crew was very professional and did an awesome job! We will use them again for future tree trimming. read more

Pedro and the entire PVR Tree Service team were great to work with. Excellent job all around and quality communication. Only advice is that next time, they should have someone stop by or at least call after the job is done to confirm everything was taken care of properly and client is satisfied with the work. Regardless, I will definitely be using PVR Tree Service going forward for my many trees in the Jester neighborhood! read more

Pedro was extremely professional and mare good recommendations for my trees. His estimate was competitive. The work was done quickly and he came back to check the work and make sure I was happy with it. Very satisfied and I'd definitely use them again. read more

I had these guys over today; they took down a large Oak, ground the stump, and trimmed another Oak. They are quick and efficient, great team work! I mentioned that I saw their billboard off the 35 and got a 20% discount, that's a $400 savings! read more

Pedro and Rosa were extremely helpful. They were able to provide a competitive price and also weren't 3 months out like most companies. They did forget a couple of small trees in the back, but had no problem sending someone to fix it right away. Overall great service! read more

I had been shopping around for a company to remove two large trees from my property and had received a variety of estimates. However, I noticed PRV Tree Service working in my neighborhood and so I looked over various reviews for them. They were very well regarded and so I contacted them for an estimate, and Pedro came out the next day and gave me an estimate - one that was less than half the cost of their competitors. I was a bit leery but because of their good reviews, I decided to go ahead. They have just completed the work today and I found them to be very professional, exceptionally hard-working, thorough, and very careful not to do any collateral damage whatsoever. Furthermore, they ground the large stumps thoroughly and removed some retaining walls at no additional charge. It was a pleasure to have them taking care of my property and I have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending PRV Tree Service very highly. They were professional through and through and left my property in immaculate condition. Well done! read more

When Pedro came to give me the quote I gave him several specific instructions on which branches I would like to keep and simply reduce the weight of so that they wouldn't be hanging as low. I wanted several of these branches in place for privacy to the bedroom. I think Pedro and I understood what I was asking and his notes related to the job seemed to explain that. Unfortunately, Pedro wasn't involved with the team that did the work and I'm not entirely sure how to explain that in Spanish. Apparently "raise canopy" means trim everything below 15 feet to some. When I got back outside, all of these branches were off, while the one that Pedro had actually marked for removal was still there. I had also asked for branches of all of the trees that were over the roof be trimmed. Pedro only noted the one in front and wanted to charge me more for the second. read more

We paid for a spring/storm cleanup, but they had to come out twice to get everything done. Average workmanship at above average $. Asked them for a quote for bi-weekly lawn care and they added ANOTHER spring cleanup plus 30% more than every other quote for the same work. read more

I came to them due to the high ratings. The service I got was lack luster to say the least. I think people forget that 5 stars means everything was perfect which is next to impossible. I rated them as a 2 because they did the job there was good an bad but more bad. Good Tree's were trimmed and look great. Mowed the lawn even though it wasn't part of the quote - This was also a negative Leaves were relatively cleaned up not to my liking but after walking neighbors yards seemed comparable. Gutters were cleaned out Bad They blew the large river rock 2-3inch diameter rocks out of the rock bed and left them in the yard up to 2ft away from the bed. This was like just a couple got knocked over the edge there were a lot. Front door is covered in mud and grime from the gutter cleaning. Literally caked a half inch thick in places. Yard mowing was extremely uneven and cut way too short if this was later in the year this would be an extreme detriment to my yard possibly hurting the health of the grass. St Augustine in the shade should be 3-4" in length my yard is now currently 1-2" in length. They stated they were going to start at 3pm as I wanted to be home while they worked. Instead they did it sometime between noon and 3pm. I could have addressed these issues if they did what they said they were going to do and for the price that they charged none of this should have been an issue. Oh by the way the service guy came back at 9pm when my wife and I were already in bed to collect the money. This inconsiderate incident could have been avoided if they did the job when they said they were going to do the job. The guy that I pointed the above issues out too at 9pm didn't even offer to come back today to finish the clean up. This is a very wham bam thank you ma'am job with a very lack of attention to detail or pride in their work. The front door still sickens me that any service would leave a front door covered in mud from the gutters. read more

Any time a neighbor says something about the treework done, you know you have selected the right company. PRV Tree came out and did an estimate and arrived on time. After review I selected them and could not have been more pleased. The trees look fantastic, in fact 2 neighbors have noted the difference. The price is very reasonable, within budget. The team showed up on time and cleaned up. No pressure estimate or sale, and you get to work with a certified arborist. Definitely recommend PRV Tree Service. read more

These men did a great job with removing a Bradford pear tree and trimming a large elm tree. They also laid sod for us. They were punctual, and cleaned up very nicely. Will use them again in the future! read more

Great price. Showed up in time. Finished quickly. Cleaned up before they left. Would recommend them.

I hired PRV to trim my two very large agave plants in my front yard. I wanted them manicured so that they look professionally sculpted. Their bid was reasonable and the job they did was fantastic, exactly the look I wanted. read more

I got a well priced quote, thorough assessment of the work and great customer service! Thanks Pedro.

Outstanding job! These guys are pro's! Highly recommend PRV. Awesome price to cut back a couple BIG Oaks in the back yard.

PRV Tree Services left a flyer on my door even though I have a big sign indicating No Soliciting. I travel often and do not like for promotional flyers to clutter my door while I'm away. I contacted the company to ask them not to leave their flyers on my door. The owner got a little defensive and berated me for wasting his time. If this business has so little regard for a home owners property, I could see no reason why they would be good at the home services that they offer. read more

They have a crew of 4 to 5 guys working next door for past two days and can't even walk over to my house and cut one limb. They sent a guy out to quote me $50! Hard to believe... For just one tree limb. read more

Had them come out and prune up the trees in the front of the house and clear out the last part of my land which had become overgrown and needed several trees to be removed. Plus they were to clean out my gutters. Their services for the trees and clearing was great. Met initially with the owner and we discussed the pruning in detail and what was needed on the back portion. His crew performed flawlessly on the trees and back area. However, which is why 3 not 5 stars, do not have them clean your gutters! They used a blower to clean them out and then any debris that was on the ground was blown away. But by using a blower, trash was sent every where all over the side of my house and glass front and rear doors. I now have to get a power washer to clean my exterior walls and doors. Trees - GREAT!! Gutters - NO!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

We used PRV Tree Service for several yards in our neighborhood. They did a great job and worked with us to get a great price for all the neighbors. Pedro, who worked up the quote, was easy to work with and very professional. He came by frequently on the days the work was done to check that everything that was quoted was completed to everyone's satisfaction. We highly recommend PRV Tree Service. read more

Call them up and they came right out and did a quote for me on the spot. Trimmed up my two trees and the bush's and took out a very large cactus that was in the middle of the yard. they cleaned up after themselves and did an awesome job I would recommend them to anyone that needs a major yard overhaul. read more

I read the other reviews and was surprised. We had a great experience with PRV. They put a flyer on our door so we had them come give us an estimate. The cost seemed reasonable to trim our tree so we agreed and they came 2 days later at the agreed up time and did a phenomenal job. Rosa was great to work with and able to help with our questions/concerns. I feel bad other people had a bad experience but I would recommend PRV. read more

Most unprofessional, half assed "company" you'll ever deal with. They are habitually late and have terrible communication skills. Pedro the owner and his staff do not deserve to be in business. Do yourself a favor and do not, I repeat do not hire this "company". They don't deserve your time or $$$ even with the 20% discount. Too many great reputable landscaping companies to deal with them. They get zero stars if available. read more

Promised to mow cheap. Sold me an extremely expensive yard cleanup and then absconded from doing the mowing.

I live in Round Rock, Tx and there were trees (front yard - 2) damaged by a recent tornado (March 21, 2022). Contacted PRV to have the limbs trimmed and cutback. Received an estimate on the same day (March 22, 2022), PRV was notified. The work crew came on the date/day (April 5, 2022) that was scheduled. Amazing/Outstanding Crew! They cut and trimmed the trees, removed the broken limbs, picked up all the trimmings, swept and cleaned the driveway, and raked the yard. All team members worked together, professionally, and quite orderly. Without a doubt, 'Excellent' service! By the way, I used PRV service last year just to trim back the same 2 trees. So, as a repeat customer, based on prior experience (1st time) with PRV, their service then was 'Top Notch' then. But, today, after watching the PRV team/crew operate, for sure 'Top Notch' - 'Excellent' customer service. I definitely will recommend PRV Tree Service to my family, friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. read more

I've used PRV Tree Services to prune my Burr Oak trees. I hired this company again Wednesday of this week and was happy with their work. I plan to continue using this company in the future. read more

We had an urgent situation with tree limbs over the house hitting the roof. We used the Yelp contact tool and they made contact within an hour, late on a Friday night. Pedro came out on very short notice Saturday, talked over options, and gave us a good estimate. Within a few hours of the estimate, his crew came out and quickly had things taken care of. Everyone was on time, professional, and did a great job. Recommended! read more

I contacted several tree trimming services and PRV was the most responsive and professional. They came out immediately to provide quotes for various tree trimming options and I didn't even need to be present. They texted photos with markings and we were able to work out what needed to be done while remaining within budget. We scheduled the work and they came out and did the job, again without my presence being required. They sent me photos of their work and I provided payment information. Excellent service and I look forward to working with them again! read more

I have been using PRV for years. Lots of large trees in my area and, unfortunately, that means when the high winds come through I sometimes lose part of a tree. PRV always arrives promptly, gives a fair estimate, does whatever needs to be done - removing a fallen branch or a whole tree - and cleans up afterwards. Very pleasant and professional people. read more

I hired PRV to do a massive brush haul-off job for me. I was very impressed with their service and pricing. They went above and beyond to clean the brush areas where a lot of other providers would leave the little stuff behind. I highly recommend them and will use them again. read more

PRV Tree Service did a great job! The work was completed quickly and I was 100% satisfied!! Pedro is very professional and friendly! Highly recommended for your tree care needs! read more

This company mutilated, destroyed my evergreens. They were supposed to "trim" the dead branches and straighten the Italian cypresses that blew over from the storm. We had cancelled them because they were supposed to come at 1:30, then 2:30 and my husband cancelled them. They showed up after 4:30 while we were gone, we had our gates open because we also had painters painting the outside of the house. They came and hacked all of my cypresses, not just the dead leaves. The branches will NEVER grow back. My bushes that are over 18 feet tall are ruined. They hacked them where they are not privacy bushes any longer. Do not use these people! I'm so very upset and disappointed. read more

Pedro and team did a wonderful job. The crew was fast and efficient. My tree looks great with it trimmed up away from the roof line now. Great service! read more

PRV was recommended by a friend. We needed the trees around the Condo complex trimmed as they had not been tended to in at least 5 years. The owner came out the next day, gave a bid and we got started right away. He sent a crew and spent 3 full days making everything look good. They hauled away all the debris, and you couldn't even tell they had been there- except the trees looked great. highly recommend. Also, a local company, so felt good about supporting them. read more

The work they did was amazing, the guys are super reliable and trust worthy and I'm not switching to any other service ever again.
