Cleaned up storm damage for a reasonable price. Professional crew. Will use them again.

Completely satisfied from start to finish. Work was completed in a professional and timely manner. Extremely satisfied with the clearing of the yard . read more

While I have never used this service, based on the disrespect they showed my yard next door to the home they serviced, I never would. I was home alone and could hear banging and lifted my blinds to find several of PRV tree service workers in my yard. I was completely shocked. There were men on my shed, in my back yard and on my fence in the middle of jumping. All of them had jumped the fence to get there. I yelled, and told them to get out of my yard! They STAYED!!! I don't even know why they were there because not a single person came to knock on our door. We had two cars in the drive way and four people in the house. There was no knock, no doorbell, no shout over the fence. PRV why would you risk your employees safety that way? How dangerous it can be to break and enter into someone's yard. Which they HAD to do to go through our gate and lock. I have dogs. I have kids. That was entirely to invasive and I do not appreciate it. I tried to speak to your employees and they ignored me. I spoke in the only two languages I know, English and Spanish, to which they completely ignored. The one man they called the "boss" refused to speak to me and instead spoke on the phone with you. Asking if he could still just enter my yard. This is poorly executed service. You left a huge mess in my yard PRV Tree service. You may schedule with me to come clean it up. I spoke with your manager Rosa who said you won't be finding time until next week. Nice. Great customer service... read more

I'm beyond impressed with PRV Tree Service. HOA had an issue with some of my trees. PRV rep came out, gave me a quote for everything I wanted to do at a very reasonable price and arranged to have the work done well ahead of the deadline the HOA gave me. The guys went above and beyond doing the work, cleaned up meticulously when they were done and walked the property with me to make sure everything had been done right. They even trimmed a couple of spots even more when I asked. Exceptional service, work and cost. read more

I needed major tree service.I reached out to PRV Tree Service. The office representative I spoke with was sweet and courteous and got me scheduled for an estimate swifty. Pedro came out and he was awesome he scheduled for service on Presidents Day with no hesitation. The quote worked with my budget and Pedro made sure I was okay with quote. Pedro went over and beyond to give me what I could work in my budget. Pedro The PRV team came out and was respectful of my propertty. I will definately use the PRV team again. Thank you to Pedro and the PRV Team, you done a fantastic job!!! read more

This company is really annoying. They continue to ignore my no soliciting sign, and even when requested to stop leaving trash on my property they completely ignored the request and have left fliers on multiple occasions. They can not follow the simplest explicit directions. I would not hire someone that is that incompetent. read more

They ruined mine and my neighbor's trees. Crew did not understand the English, so was hard to communicate, they would just node the head. I pointed at the specific branches I wanted to be removed, at specific height, and the team took out randomly and went few feet higher on the tree than I said I wanted. I asked to remove my neighbor's tree branches just above the fence line, team wet ahead and removed the BIG branch of my neighbor's tree which is now ~15 feet inside from my fence, which made my neighbor very mad. All of my shade for the summer is gone, and ruined my relations with neighbor. Very Disappointing! read more

I've used them multiple times. Quick to schedule service and always provided great prices. Highly recommend!

I called for a quote and Pedro came out when he said he would and he gave me an awesome price because he wanted to keep his crews busy. They showed up on time as scheduled and done an excellent job. I was quite impressed with how well they cleaned up the leaves and debris from the job. I highly recommend them and will contact them again in the future if I need any tree work done. read more

I just experienced the worst customer service. I tried booking an appointment for tree trimming. The person who answered said she could not fit me in the schedule and asked I just submit an email to request a quote instead. Literally throwing away business. Unreal. This is a review to the company, y'all should look into some training for who ever it was that took my "sales" call. DM me if you want to schedule a time to come out. read more

We hired PRV for 2 jobs. 1. Stump Removal - they came when they said, and showed up with a monster stump grinder. Not that rental you get from Home Depot. They not only cleared my stumps but the roots that were also sticking above ground. Job done perfectly. 2. Yard Leveling, and ground prep for Sod - I had my own sod resource or I would have hired them for the entire sodding process. But PRV came out and did an incredible job leveling my yard, removing all of the old grass and weeds. No problems or complaints. Job well done, and I'll hire them for all of my future landscaping and tree needs. read more

One star for prompt reply, but my tree is ruined. I pointed at the specific branches I wanted removed, and the team took out four times as many and went two feet higher on the tree than I said I wanted and its lopsided. If I hadn't come out to tell them to stop cutting there wouldn't be anything left. All of my shade for the summer will be gone. Very unhappy! read more

We had PRV Tree Service Come and give us a quote when several large branches fell from the snow and ice. They had to cancel due to it not being safe and more snow was coming. They showed up the moment the weather was clear enough without me even having to call. Their crew took care of all the storm damaged tree limbs and also trimmed the trees in my front and back yard! They did a wonderful job I would recommend them to EVERYONE! read more

Friendly, fast and reliable. Can't ask for anything more. They handled both our trees and the stumps.

I just asked for a refund for a job that was not complete . Out of the $162.37, I am getting back approximately $54. I called for an estimate, somebody came out said they can remove my trunk , I get a knock at the door a few weeks later and was told okay the trunk was removed , I'm having a tree put in today, lo and behold the trunk is still there. I called prv and requested a refund . Rosa said she can only give me a partial because they came out to the property. Even though they did not finish the job that I paid them for they will not honor the quote and work they promised me . I was also told that if I would have told them sooner they would have come out and grounded down some more , what that has to do with the trunk still being there today I do not know. It is my recommendation to not work with this company . read more

They were very responsive and came right away to provide a quote. The quote was far more reasonable than other quotes we've gotten and they came on time and finished the job quickly. We're definitely going to use them again in the future! read more

They did an excellent job of trimming my trees. They were efficient and also cleaned up after the tree trimming. I would not hesitate to recommend them. read more

We had PRV come out late last year to trim our 30 trees for the winter and they did a great job. No amount of trimming could have prevented the trees from sustaining the damage they did with the recent ice storm. PRV came back out today to remove the fallen and hanging limbs/branches and remove all brush. All cut and split limbs were treated. They took all limbs on the curb and cleaned up leaves and twigs as well. We are extremely pleased with their service and would highly recommend them. read more

Highly recommended. We have four giant heritage live oak trees that needed careful removal of dead limbs and ball moss. The crew was very professional and polite. They were so nice honoring our requests and concerns along the way. They worked very hard. The cleanup at the end was so thorough, there was no evidence of the giant job that was done. They're certified and insured. Their prices are very competitive. We will rehire PRV again and will refer them to neighbors and friends without hesitation. read more

We hired PRV Tree Service to take care of our storm damaged trees from the ice storm that happened in early February. They arrived right on time, were fast and very efficient. They are truly professionals. We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. They cleaned up everything very well. Rosa was excellent to work with, very knowledgeable and helpful. After the work was complete she came back out and made sure it was done to our satisfaction. We will definitely hire them again when we need further work. read more

Came out and offered a reasonable price for trimming my storm-damaged tree. They went above and beyond, doing both the work I asked for as well as a little extra needed pruning. They then cleaned, raked, and even used a blower to get the yard better than it looked. More than that, they also took away the brush already piled curbside! The crew was very careful not to send limbs crashing down where they might do damage. read more

PRV was fantastic to work with - easy, direct, showed up on time, worked quickly, and hauled all materials away. We worked with them for trimming of branches over our roof that were too high for us to get (safely) and removing a lot of dead branches left after the storm and would definitely call them back. read more

This company does excellent work. I would highly recommend them. They were on time, did everything they said they would do and left our yard cleaner than it was! read more

March 2018 EDIT: I've since noticed that a fireplace vent cover was left broken and completely open. Apparently their crew wasn't very careful when dragging out the pieces (as you can see in the pic) by the long scratch marks in the red brick along the side of my house. I'm bothered that not one person said anything and as a matter of fact probably threw away the cover since its nowhere to be found. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Our neighbors hired them to trim a overhanging oak tree and so we decided to give them a call. A couple hackberry trees in our backyard were starting to give us problems. A particularly large one had already split in two and one half was precariously positioned right above our fence and neighbors shed. I told PRV about the situation but Pedro assured us that it wouldn't be a problem and that they'd be extra careful not to damage anything. He gave us a fair estimate for 2 tree's removed to the stump as well as clear out all the leaves and vines from our backyard. All in all, they were punctual and professional. Before they started everything was a mess but their crew were able to handle it all to our satisfaction. Highly recommended for your tree care needs! read more

PRV Tree Service - PRV broke our vent cover and left without saying anything. See the scratches on our red brick? That keeps going the entire house length. SAD - Tree Services Near Me

Excellent service. My sister recommended this company to me after I told her about the outrageous quotes from other companies. I'm so happy with the service I received today. They removed a tree that was about to fall in my yard and also removed the stump, it was not a small job. They were done quickly and cleaned everything after. I will definitely call them again for my future needs. read more

Did a great job and were on time as well. Very friendly and would trim additional branches if I requested them to do so. Doesn't get better than this. Also, they stopped by after the job to make sure I was happy with their work. That was a very pleasant surprise. read more

PRV trees cut down 9 trees on our property, and ground up 14 total stumps. Cut, hauled, and cleaned up after themselves. Great price and great service. Couldn't have gone better. Highly recommended. (Bent Tree neighborhood) read more

PRV Tree service team was professional, efficient, well priced, and did a great job cleaning up. My only reason for giving 4 stars, is they didn't cut the removed tree stumps completely flesh with the ground in my backyard (making the leftover tree stumps easy to cover up and blend in with the grass in my backyard). read more

Our trees were in need of moss and sucker growth, as well as, raising the canopy. Also, dead limbs and one tree that needed removal. This was done on time and professionally. Cleanup was great and none of our landscaping was damaged. Would highly recommend Pedro and his crew! read more

PRV did a great job w/our tree trimming. Pedro came out on 1/28/21 to look over our yard and provide a quote. The quote was very reasonable and they were able to start the job just over a week later. The crew did exactly what we needed them to do - plus a little extra - they cleaned everything up after the job was done - overall very professional and courteous. I highly recommend PRV based on our experience. An additional note - this job was done a few days before the ice/snow storms in Texas and I'm grateful they were able to come when they did because part of their service was clearing a lot of trees around our power lines. The work they did saved us from having limbs come down on the power lines and our house that week of the ice/snow storm. read more

Excellent service. The crew showed up on time, worked diligently to trim our trees and cleaned up the area. The trimming was just what we wanted, clear out deadwood, raise the canopy and clean up the tree suckers. Pedro provided a competitive quote and scheduling to meet our requirements. Last summer, I found an ad in my door about their service, and held onto it since I usually have my trimming done around Christmas. Then came the big ice storm after Christmas. After waiting 2 months and one rain delay, they finally made it out to clean up the limbs I couldn't reach myself. I can understand that they were backlogged from the storm, but 1 month just to come give the estimate and another month before they could do the work? By the time they made it out, everything was in spring bloom. Of course, it was partly my fault, since I should have had them come do the routine trimming before Christmas. Anyway, thanks to the storm I saw one big oak limb that I thought was plenty far from the powerline, but when the ice weighed it down was laying right on it. That was probably the biggest amount of work to remove it, since it was a good 6-8" thick. Rosa also suggested some other clean up, just to maintain the shape of the trees. I also had them clean my gutters. They don't have equipment to clear downspouts, but fortunately it turned out mine weren't clogged (I ended up ordering one of those extendable gutter cleaning nozzles after they left). Gutters were clear. I thought their quote was a little high, but after the coupon from the flyer, it ended up about where I thought it should be, BTW, their crew understands very little English, so make sure Rosa will be there if you're not bilingual. read more

You hired some young girl to walk door to door to hand out fliers. She did so, and proceeded to ring the doorbell that is mounted right next to a NO SOLICITING sign on my house. The sign isn't up for my health. I have a reactive dog and it's there so she doesn't hurt herself when I'm not home. Think about the people you hire and what you instruct them to do. She had to literally reach around the sign to ring the doorbell. read more

Best tree service I've used so far. Great value for the money and these guys worked hard plus they did a great job cleaning up afterwards! It was cleaned up better than how they found it actually and the trees look healthy and strong. The office/administration is super helpful and worked quickly to get me scheduled. Just had trees trimmed. Great job. Cleaned up. On time and on budget. Definitely will use them again.

We have multiple live oak trees that needed trimming, thinning and canopies raised on our Hill Country property. PRV gave us a solid quote and scheduled two weeks out. The Freeze in the Hill Country and the Houston area prevented us from being able to make the original date, so PRV rescheduled in a timely manner. The quote included two four men teams, brush chipper and the pulling out and trimming of very established Yuccas. Everything was completed and cleaned up and PRV even discounted as we elected to stop some of the work. The PRV team includes an Arborist responsible for the quotes, a Supervisor that comes out the day of to make sure workers know what to do. We were in constant contact with the Arborist throughout the job. Each team member were friendly and did a great Job. read more

I just had PRV come out and trim and cut 6 trees in the front and back yard. They sent a crew of 5 plus people and were very fast and efficient. Pedro the owner came out to give the estimate and personally came out to oversee the project as it was being done. In addition to the trees they offer several value added services including trimming all bushes, mulching the flower beds, cleaning out the gutters and hauling off a pallet and other trash. All for less than many other wanted just to do the trees. They also made sure that the trees were 10 feet from the house and make clearance for shed. As a final touch they raked up all the leaves. I already a 2nd project quoted and am scheduling with them. I definitely recommend. read more
