The actual facial was decent, although I don't think I received any exfoliation. With virtually no communication from the esthetician, it was hard to know. For $160, I'd rather go to a day spa such as Elmwood, Hammam or the like because of free water therapies (sauna, steam, and pool and lounge) in a luxurious atmosphere.

Not cramped aisles like other stores. Major plus on having enough staff around that you can easily get assistance when needed. You can try products out and get mini makeovers They carry more high end products like YSL, Bobbi Brown and Chanel and some midrange ones like Cargo. Plus they have a few brands you won't find in Sephora like a brand from Iceland, Darphin etc. By chance I picked up one of those magnifying mirrors (18x magnification) and scared myself shitless! Do i really look like that up close?! Ughh...i thought I plucked my eyebrows pretty decently. Well oh my..not even close to a decent job! I ran all the way to the counter to pay for my mew best friend. I remember they used to have a brow bar where you could get your brows done but I don't recall seeing it this time. They also have a perfume bar here so start spraying! You can collect and redeem optimum points so save up and splurge here!

I came to Murale yesterday as I was in the area. My dad wanted to pop in Murale to see what latest…read morecosmetics there were. The face cream I use can ONLY be purchased at Holts and since I purchase mine from Yorkdale, the location is a bit far from my home. If only Murale carried my cream... Having said that, Murale for me carries nothing out of the ordinary (Chanel, Nars, Clarins, etc...). Because I have been using my cream for many years, any new products would just fly by me. Murale does carry a lot of new brands I don't see anywhere else so if you are into trying new products, Murale would not be a bad stop. Later in the night, I went on their website and checked out all the products they carry - that is a good start to see if the store carries your particular brand. The ONE thing I love, of course, is the fact that you can redeem your Optimum points, and because some of the products here range $200-$300, it would be great to save up all your points and splurge here. Not sure if it would be a good idea, but Murale does a lot of makeup sessions, and I have always wanted to try the Chanel seminar. This is a place I wouldn't come out of my way, but it is nice to drop in when in the area. The sales associates are always keen to help and super smiley. *Note: the 2 images I downloaded from Google Images just to show examples of the exterior and interior store.*

I will give this a try and see...It seemed naturalish and seems perfect for asian eyes. It also came w/ the glue too and was priced at $24.00 for two pairs. They had a nice selection of beauty products. Anything from cream, makeup, lashes, eye tape, OPI nail polish, masks, etc. Also a sale section at the back. The sales girl seemed somewhat disinterested (maybe it was too late at night?) but did somewhat help me pick the lashes. I was curious as I saw a room at the back and found out they also did mani/pedis, facials and eye lash extensions. But she didn't seem too interested in telling me more about it. Well that's fine. I will just go somewhere else.

Whenever I'm in Toronto, I make a point to stop by the Queen Street location. Street parking is available, but I usually prefer to walk--it's a busy spot and always worth the visit. The staff is helpful, and the store is spacious, clean, and easy to browse. From essential oils to skincare, there's always something you didn't know you needed. My go-tos are the lip therapy packs, body butters, and the pain release roller. I recently tried the extreme pain release, and it's pretty incredible--no burning at all. Now if it could permanently fix my tendinitis, I'd be set. :)

We ended up sampling about 5 different products, all were swoon worthy but slightly out of my price range. I was really in the market for bubble bath and they unfortunately did not sell any. My husband did end up purchasing a product from their men's line for post shave as he struggles with irritation frequently after shaving. The men's products were still on the pricier side but the woman explained that the one bottle we purchased when used correctly should last for approximately a year. If this ends up being true then I would absolutely shop here more regularly!

The great thing is obviously the wide variety of clean-leaning make up, facial care and body care…read moreitems, as well as items for the home. The thing is that they carry quite a few items with synthetic fragrances that are not marked as synthetic and are passed off as green when they are anything but. I have asked several times to at least mark such products because reading the labels and ingredient list on the website does not tell you anything and who wants to research everything they buy on the items home website as well? We pay a premium at the detox market for them to do the vetting for us, but they are not doing the vetting on fragranced items and they don't care to. Who would do a detox using petroleum, derived synthetic fragrances? Nobody who knows what they're doing. I don't care if a synthetic fragrance is pthalate-free, I care that it's in the product at all because it will make me very ill. For example, most of the LOHN candles have synthetic scents in them. I had to go through a four hour transaction to find out why the candles my girlfriend bought me were making me ill when they came from the detox market. This is a very major concern because synthetic fragrance made from petroleum is not green or clean. Also, whenever I have received teas from the detox market, they don't say they come from organic herbs, and I'm quite sure some of the triangle teabags had micro plastics in them again you have to be vigilant and ask they are not doing the work for you; you are just paying them too. Otherwise, I have found the customer service very helpful and some great brands available. In my mind, there's too much plastic and packaging for some of those products so I need to be mindful of that when purchasing. Please read all the ingredients because there is a spectrum of "Eco" products available here. Mara, Agent Nature, Innersense, Living Libations and some goop products are good. Living Libations is as clean as you can get as well as being Canadian! Kjaer Weis is the cleanest make up with the least packaging and the most sustainable packaging.
