Way too expensive for what you are paying for. See attached photos. Im giving one star for how quickly this package shipped to me, their responsiveness when discussing the wig over the phone and through text message, cutting the lace before shipment, and the fact that the wig was the length it was promised to be (i.e. the bare minimum). The rest I am incredibly disappointed with and will describe in detail in my review. I've uploaded pictures, as well as proof of my purchase, with marks on them to highlight the faults I will write about. All of the pictures were taken right after I took the wig out of the box and placed it on my head. 1) My first impression was that the wig looked incredibly plastic-like and shiny. I thought it might have been the lighting / the wig needed to be fluffed a bit coming out of the box but the extremely synthetic feel and look never went away. In some pictures you can see it, in others you can't but when you're looking in the mirror or in person it's quite obvious. This was never apparent in any of the pictures they sent me, pictures on their website, or on their social media. 2) Once I got the wig on my head (with my fine hair braided completely flat and using a wig cap) it looked so incredibly "wiggy" and a bit boxy. Combining this with the plastic look of the hair and the outward appearance of the cap construction (even though it fit me perfectly and there were no issues lining it up with my hairline) I couldn't do anything to make it look less horrible. 3) The thickness of the hair is certainly not the 150% density that they describe on the website. Aside from it feeling incredibly thin and plastic-like the hair only looks more on the thick side when it is all collected in the back. Still, when I had gone to other wig stores and looked at synthetic and human hair wigs in person in the 150% density category they looked and felt much thicker than this one. I tried to upload some photos to display the stringiness and plastic-looking sectioning that wouldn't blend or lay down properly that I observed with the wig on and off. 4) The hairline was really bad. There were so many long, stringy pieces that would stick to my forehead and jut out in many directions to create a static look that made it even more obvious I had a plastic wig on my head. Another issue with the hairline / front of the wig is the section where the lace meets with the rest of the cap (about 2 in back from the wig hairline). I knew that the lace section was not going to be very deep when I purchased the wig but the demarcation is so incredibly obvious and creates bald spots on the scalp showing where some of the tracks are sewn and where the lace ends. I've tried to show this phenomena with a red circle and line in some of the photos. 5) I was worried about the knots (black dots on the lace where the hair is installed) being very apparent as that was a concern based on other wigs I had tried at other stores. When I was talking with a sales associate on the phone and over text message, I expressed this worry. Both times they reassured me this would not be a problem. I even asked them to send me a photo to display the lace front to make sure the knots were not apparent. This was not the case when I received the wig and can be seen in the attached pictures. I attempted to fix the issues with the wig parting the hair in different directions, finger combing it etc. but to no avail. I would definitely not recommend their synthetic wigs, especially with their no refund policy which, in this kind of situation, leaves you feeling conned. I will deeply regret purchasing this wig every time the next payment instalment comes in and strongly advise anyone else from making my same mistake. After making all these observations I just wanted to cry, I felt incredibly conned for the amount of money I paid for this wig.

I was shocked and appalled when I read many of the reviews posted here about Wavelengths Hair studio and later in my review I will address these concerns in greater detail but first my experience at this salon I recently decided to make the change and go with fusion extensions instead of having to clip in my extensions every time I needed long hair, which turns out to be a lot with the work that I do. So I began to research my options both online and by phone; believe me I spent much time gathering info and comparing salons but Joice stood out immediately as she was one of the only ones who would quote prices on the phone and the only one who provided a variety of options, catering towards quality but affordability. I called back many times with a barrage of questions which she answered politely and efficiently with a keen understanding of the care and consideration something like this takes. I eventually decided to go with one of the options she presented me with, which was to go buy my own hair (which would work out cheaper) and she would apply it. She quoted me a very affordable price and was accommodating schedule-wise so I set my appointment. The salon itself is located on a little side street called Irwin with surprisingly ample parking as there is street parking and underground public parking just up the street. Small but tidy and quaint this is a full service hair salon with the specialty in Hair Extensions. As soon as I walked in I recognized not only the voice but the generally warm and friendly vibe I got from speaking with Joice on the phone. I came in with a bang, almost knocking over a mirror and chair in my clumsiness but she was her bubbly and accommodating self and made me feel right at home. She explained to me the process and some info about care, maintenance ect.. but as she proceeded she noticed I had bought pre-bonded keratin packs, which she informed me wouldn't be the ideal option so she went with a shank method that was MUCH more expensive but because she quoted me a certain price on the phone she actually honored that. I was SHOCKED! Not only that but she really knew her craft and how to work the best she could with the materials provided. Throughout it all she was conscious of price and quality even making the move to space out my extensions because I had only bought 100g though she made it look full and natural. My hairstylist even went out of her way to compliment the job and I have trusted her opinion for a while now as she has saved my hair many a time from silly dye jobs and wacky cement hair styles. Joice even gave me a clip in highlight cause I was asking about pink highlights, really the generosity was incredible! The whole procedure was no more then 2hrs in total, prob not even that and it was a pleasure to sit and chat with such a kindred spirit like Joice so the time passes by even quicker. After it was done I couldn't get over the feeling of the hair it was amazing! So light and natural looking... blended perfectly and was literally invisible even with my hair up . The salon itself also offers a fantastic incentive for referral too, any guest you refer gives you 15% off your next visit now I have never heard of that before. She also gave me a very reasonable deal to remove them when it comes time and if I do choose to get them redone it will DEFINITELY be here!! Now I have never done this before but feel compelled to call out the two resoundingly negative reviews I have read here because I feel Yelp is a place for people to find TRUTHFUL, HELPFUL and HONEST reviews not petty, childish attacks at a business and persons reputation. These businesses are run by human beings that deserve the respect of decency and making personal attacks publicly and using yelp to slander or berate someone is not what this site is intended for. We as reviewers have an obligation to not only be truthful and respectful but be mindful of the consequences of our words as these are peoples livelihoods we are affecting after all. So if your going to leave such a negative review/rating be sure to give ample reason and try to remain objective.

Which is where he introduced Mimi who discussed what she would like to do to personalize the wig. When we went to pick it up, there were a lot of nerves and concerns that it might not look right or be the desired outcome. Mimi absolutely nailed it! It looks natural, she fit it, coloured it, cut it and styled it PERFECTLY!! Leaving with confidence is all you really want when going through something like this and that's exactly what she left with! Needless to say, no one really 'wants' to be going to choose a wig however, the end results looked even better than either of us could imagine! The cost of each system is close to $5,000 (that's right $5,000 each) and when I asked Michael to review these systems and help me out he simply returned the systems to me and didn't bother to respond to my concerns. He also not had not had the decency to respond to my emails. What kind of service is that? Takes your order, your money and then washes his hands of his expensive systems that are totally unsatisfactory. He promises that you'll be 100% satisfied with his products; please stand behind what you sell!!!!!!! If Michael, the owner of Continental Hair cannot stand behind his product why doesn't he go after the manufacturer and have them redo the terrible systems and then maybe the clients would be happy. He takes no interest in his patients. Brian is very good and he covers for the doctor but this is not the way its supposed to be. My research for a revision involved finding 3 top hair transplant doctors and getting to the bottom of this. After reading hundreds of reviews and speaking to various clinics, I settled on three doctors in California that exclusively do hair transplants and have done more than 40,000 procedures collectively. I flew out to California and met with each doctor. The most shocking thing was that each doctor had the exact same concerns with the work. All 3 doctors thought the transplant was horrible and said there was no way that a skilled/professional doctor did the work...which was when I told them that the entire procedure was done by technicians, not a medical doctor. They said that not only was that completely unethical, it is actually grounds for someone to lose their license in the US. Here are the other things they ALL said: 1. My hair line that was created was way too low and was done very unnaturally. Its very "pluggy" 2. I have very bad scars both on the donor area and the transplanted area. They all attributed this to dull instruments and unskilled hands (back to the technicians) 3. All 3 agreed that there are not 2200 grafts (which is what I paid for). They might have removed 2200 but there is no way they put 2200 in...they either died during the surgery or after. There was discussion in all 3 meetings about the amount of time the grafts were outside of my body and how important it is that they are kept in a certain solution and put back immediately. All three said that the hair has to be transplanted within an hour. 4.One of the 3 doctors said that it looks like some of the donor hair was taken from a very bad spot...way too high, possibly in the crown area ...that may be prone to fall out in the future. 5. All 3 doctors said PRP (I paid for 3) is ineffective and that recent data has shown that it can actually cause more shock to the area...and that taking blood our of the body in a time when it needs it most to heal is counterproductive. 6. One of the doctors made mention of the fact that if I paid for 2200 grafts, I should in actuality have gotten more like 3740 hairs at an average of 1.7 hairs per graft...some are 2s and some are 3s and that unless you are highly skilled and do hair transplants every day, exclusively you will not be proficient in this. 7. The middle part...there were many grafts put in there...all 3 doctors disagreed with this placement and said that it is possible that because it was done so unskilfully, it could have possibly shocked that area into further loss. The doctors agreed that if I choose to do a second hair transplant, it will be a repair and it will be a tricky one. The first one that Torgerson's techs did has greatly set me back because they now have to work with the awful hairline that was created and I have been depleted of valuable grafts that have now essentially been wasted. One of the three doctors refused to do the repair..he said he wasn't confident that it could even be fixed. I realize that the nature of humans is to put down other peoples work...That is why I went to 3 and let them do all the talking. They gave specific reasons about what was wrong with the work and they were almost identical...and in very deep detail. Do your research...ask the question..."DOES THE DOCTOR DO THE SURGERY?" "HOW LONG ARE THE HAIRS OUT OF THE BODY?" I now have to take out another loan to do a revision and there is no guarantee it will work. This doctor will not refund any of my money. It was the worst possible outcome.

Oh my, this place is absolutely terrible, I should have not waited this long to write a review on…read morethis clinic and surgeon but here goes, it's a long one. So in 2018 I decided to get a chin and neck skin reduction done by Dr. William El-Masri. I was young and it was my first time getting surgery and really want to reduce my neck fat and length of my chin. I told him how short I wanted it (which was actually a lot) and didn't realize how it might actually unbalance my face. He didn't give any professional suggestions or warnings about how shortening it too much would cause an unbalance but rather go off about how big my nose was and that my nose was just like his (which was big and bulbous) and that I should get rhinoplasty. Everything about this clinic was so unorganized, staff was unprofessional and the aesthetic was dingy looking .. that should have been my warning sign but all I was thinking was how could anyone mess up a chin. Well he did, he botched my face, leaving my chin uneven when I smile and left me with this terrible thick uneven weird long scar under my neck with an additional 2 bumps on each end that look like big pimples. I noticed hardly any difference in the liposuction and neck skin reduction the only thing he succeeded was ruining my lower face. We waited 2 whole weeks to remove my stiches when every other surgery I had always removed them much sooner which is probably why I was left with the two bumps under my chin. Our follow ups were very short and unpleasant, he showed lack of care as if he wanted to leave right as soon as he met me, he looked uninterested in everything. I remember he came up to me right before he was about to leave to tell me that he was going to do my nose and all I could smell was just foul breath to make it worse. Since then I've had a neck lift, submental lipo and a muscle shrinking procedure done by another surgeon who did a fantastic job but because Dr. El-Masri botched my chin you can really see how uneven it is more now that the skin has been tightened. I'm currently in Korea here to do facial contouring to fix the unbalance facial proportions and uneven chin. It's insane because during my consultation here in Korea we did some extensive tests and 3D x ray CT scans to show every angle of my bone structure. The surgeon in Korea even pointed out the uneven and rough bumpy looking bone that Dr. El- Masri had done. I can't wait to get it fixed because my chin looks horrible. Also Dr. El-Masri is the type of guy who would gaslight you into telling you that you're wrong if you were to bring up an issue, he did not have a warm demeanour please avoid this clinic in Yorkville and him!! Oh yeah they offered me small units of Botox I forgot what the reason was but I didn't have to pay for it and the woman at the front counter whose not even a nurse did it for me and the whole time she was "training a women" how to do Botox by using my face. Neither of them were qualified to do that. I got Botox on my chin dimples to try it out and guess what she messed up and I could smile and move my mouth on half a side. I had a crooked smile for over 4 months. Think her name was Cynthia but yes worst clinic I have ever gone to. DO NOT GO HERE
