I've been lusciously thinking about LUSH for a few weeks now. So I finally had the chance to stop in and pick up my all time favourite moisturizer and all time favourite product - Imperalis. It's the only product that I have ever finished - I literally scrap down the sides of the pot to get every last drop. I really don't understand why I buy other moisturizers when I always come back to this one. I love walking in and smelling all the lovely scents. Yes not everything is going to please your nose, but there are so many yummy scents in here. The staff are friendly and know their stuff. Not overtly pushy but chatty enough to make it seem like you are talking to a good friend. I love how there is no testing on animals and that they source out the best ingredients possible. Yes some products are $$$$ and some are $$, but I think it's worth every penny. There is something for every price point and they have boxed gift items - perfect at Christmas. You need to make sure for most items you use it regularly as they don't put preservatives in most products so the shelf life may not be months long. The shampoo bars are great - love them and they are so easy to travel with. The only issues I have with their products are the pots most of the creams come in - definitely not user/travel friendly but you can always put some in travel friendly pots. I'll get the obvious out of the way, this place SMELLS. Like lots of pungent girl smells. It's really really strong ................ and makes your eyes water even from the street when you walk past. Now, with that out of the way, the products are cute. They all have cute named, cute colours and feel cute between your fingers. As for substance, I really don't have any idea. I LOVE Lush and wish I could afford to buy a lot more of their products! The staff at this location are awesome; super friendly and helpful, but not pushy. I went a few weeks ago looking for something that would help my dry winter hands, without spending a stupid amount of money, and the sales associate suggested the Charity Pot. All money goes to the charity labelled on the top of the container (minus the taxes) and you get to take your pick from lots. It's not a thick cream, but it does leave my hands soft and it's helped them the last few months. Bonus is that the small container is only $5, so you find it doesn't work well for you, you're only out that little bit, but still helped a charity. However, I still needed something a little stronger and a friend has suggested the Lemony Flutter and wow, this stuff works miracles. Highly suggest it for the brutal dryness the Canadian winters brings. One last product to recommend! The Wiccy Magic Muscles massage bar. It smells divine. Actually, remember those Necco Wafer candies? The brown ones were always my favorite and this massage bar smells just like it. This was my first time going to the store I have never heard of it before as I have only been visiting Canada for a couple months.. my experience in this store was excellent! Excellent customer service, lovely in store setup everything was just nice I went into the store and I walked out with samples of everything I was looking for. My lips, my face, my eyes. It was only till I got home and had my bath and tried these products did I realize how completely AMAZING they are. My lips are nice, silky, and hydrated and the conditioner candy I will definitely be going back for before the ending of this week ! I haven't tried the other products as yet as I am currently using another product for my face but thank you Lush for so much awesomeness and being so excellent with giving out samples.. I will definitely be coming back and I am so happy !! Candy Rain conditioner !!! My goodness I love love love it !! Walking past this store, you can't help to notice (smelltice?) the powerful sweet odors of Lush. Lush is popping up more and more in malls across the GTA, but this Lush location has been around since as far as I can remember. Lush makes handmade soups out of natural ingredients. They have the listing of everything they use for each bar of soap, which is sorta neat and interesting to see what they put in each bar. Their bath bombs are pretty popular and do not disappoint. Best of all Lush doesn't test on animals. Why would they need to, they don't use any harm chemicals (like other cosmetic companies) that would harm us. A little pricey for soap, but worth a try. read more

I am a bath lover. I don't want to hear any of this "how do you get clean sitting in your own filth" crap. First of all-- how dirty ARE you? And secondly-- showers are for getting clean but a bath is a Human Soup spiked with relaxation, serenity and escape. Throw in a Lush bath bomb and you're pretty close to heaven. The sales people are really friendly. Normally I hate chatty sales people as I feel pressured and think they're just chatting to make a sale. At Lush, I never feel pressured and once I tell a sales associate that I'm just having a wander, they back off. If anyone else approaches me while I browse it's usually just casual conversation. On the other hand, some Lush products can be confusing... their shampoos are all in disks and there are strange wedges of delicious smelling stuff that all look like cheese or chocolate (points for the hunger factor). It's nice to be able to approach the sales people and get such delicious information. They all seem very passionate about everything in the store. The Alkmaar soap is a long time fave of mine with it's gorgeous jasmine scent. I'm not a fan of the bath bombs that have sparkles in them, as they tend to get everywhere, but I love the one with the rose petals. Avobath, a yummy green one with Avocado oil is another fave.I always grab a few of these before I go on vacation because we always try to get a room with a jacuzzi. If you have a jacuzzi tub these Lush products take on a whole level of amazing! The bubble baths are fantastic with bubbles that seem to last forever.... Conclusion? Lush is an amazing company with a unique niche market of products and a loyal cult following. I am proud to be a cult member! read more

The staff here are great. I've been to different locations all over the country but the staff here are particularly wonderful. They're very polite and knowledgeable and genuinely like to help you. A few of the girls here are quieter and introverted but even they're fantastic. A+. I ended up returning a moisturiser that was breaking me out and they gave me a refund right away and also offered to help me find something better. I walked out with a bunch of free samples. They're very generous with their samples here. The products themselves are a case-by-case basis. I've bought Cosmetic Warrior a few times and the consistency is always a little different. Overall I've liked 9/10 of the products that I've used. read more

My first experience with Lush was when I stepped into this store on Boxing Day 2009....and that's when my obsession started... I absolutely love this specific LUSH location. It big enough for you to navigate around the store without knocking anything over (FYI: I'm very clumsy!). The staffs show passion in the store's products and they explain directions how to use the product or information about the product very well! They are extremely friendly and they never push you to buy products! I always had the best experience with this LUSH location! Also, they would always show you how the products work and even do demos where they call the whole store to watch! Always a fun trip! I have been to this location several times and it is by far the best location I have come across thus far. The staff are friendly, the store is clean, and they always have the products I am looking for. The staff are informative, and can recommend products based on needs. Also, they let me bring my dog in! As far as people saying that the store "smells", I think it is their own personal preference. I have been hearing that lush "stinks up" places by people many times, but it just shows that most people would like to smell synthetic garbage like axe body spray, rather than essential oils. The Lush on Queen is my favourite. I don't know if it's because it was the first one or because it has the most home sense feeling about it, but I've always felt that cozy cottage feeling when I go in. Works like a charm, gets me to buy something every time. I especially like buying them bath bombs as stocking stuffer's at Christmas. Makes those skanky old stockings your mom pulls up from the basement every year, smell like awesome. They make nice little house warming gifts. I'm not into their masks and creams and stuff, if you use too much of that junk, you smell like a hippy basement, and frankly, a little chemical peel and a non-scented face cream gets a lot more mileage. read more

I absolutely love this store. LUSH is one of my major obsessions, But this store is my favorite LUSH store EVER. I think it's because the products are fresher, The faculty is so helpful and sweet, they don't push you to buy anything, they really don't make you buy something you don't want to. Ive shopped here alot in the last 2 years - mainly for gifts for other people - ie. bridesmaid gifts. The quality is always great and the products are always so fun and in great packaging. On the last visit i went ot pick up some BIG Shampoo after tryign a sample. This stuff is great but takes a bit to get used to how it works. Also picked up a sample of their conditioner. Im dockign 1 point for the price tag. If the tub of shampoo really lasts 6 months like they said ill come back and give it 5 stars. otherwise almost 40.00 for shampoo is a bit insane. read more

I am addicted to lush! Almost all my skin care & hair care is from the company! This is a great location to shop in. I find they have the best selection. The staff is a hit or ok (didn't want to write hit or miss) they're normally helpful once you ask them but sometimes they get a bit pushy. I've had it happen more at this location then my normal lush store (Pickering town center). They're never rude but they come across more sales based then caring based I find. T read more

The staff probably knows me already, as I ALWAYS go to this Lush opposed to any other Lush. I love their masks. I'm a self-proclaimed addict to anything involving my skin being clear as glass. It's a bit much, I know. Anywho, the staff is always friendly-they compliment you sometimes too which is sweet even though I don't know if it's just to get me to get ANOTHER fresh face mask. They come up to you pretty quickly, so that aids in not feeling like a lost puppy in this great store. The only downside for this store is the pricing. It's very very expensive, considering I'm young and don't have a ton of moolah. It sometimes breaks my boyfriend's bank and even mine. I would buy much more if the pricing went down a bit, considering the only thing I really buy is masks since the rest is way too much splurging for me. It's a nice layout. Overall: The staff are great! Friendly and helpful. It's quite pricey....Don't be surprised if at the end of your check out your shocked at your bill. The layout is nice and not cluttered. I love Lush products. I go in wanting to buy one thing and end up with a wish list a mile long of products I want to try! That being said, I'm not fond of the stores itself. If you can go when it's a bit quieter, great. The staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and offer superb customer service. When it's busier, however...it's kind of a nightmare. Take today, for instance - I was in the store for about 15 minutes before I gave up and left empty handed. Not a single salesperson acknowledged I was there or offered to help. I get that there are only so many sales people for all the customers, but it was still a little frustrating because I had several products in mind I had questions about. Not only that, I constantly had to step away from the products I was looking at so other customers could be helped instead and was made to feel like I was in the way. This was all especially disappointing because I came all the way to Queen West specifically to shop at Lush. The last time I was at this location in particular, it was in the afternoon in the middle of the week, so I had a great experience. This time, on a weekend, not so much. My advice, go when it's quieter if you actually want to buy something. read more

I travel A LOT, but you don't have to be jet set to appreciate LUSH cosmetics. Their massage bars, solid shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste and mouthwash tablets and bar soaps are all staples for my travel and in my bathroom at home. I go through bath bombs like they're candy and Lush smells good enough to eat. Their philosophy is as generous as their products are decadent. They label their treats carefully with liberal use of vegan and organic components and frequently create products that contribute to positive social change. Very impressed with this company. The employees take the time to help you and don't push the products on you like other stores. Even though their prices are on the higher side, you are paying for quality. As well, they have an amazing exchange policy. I once bought a foundation colour that looked good in the store but as soon as I applied it at home I realized I picked the wrong colour. Even though I used it a couple of times I was able to exchange the product and get the correct colour. Lastly, the store smells amazing! You can smell it from the street. read more
