All he did was spray some pesticides and barely covered any ground. Bed bugs are a very different pest from any other pest you'll deal with, and he accomplished absolutely nothing for us today. I work remote and planned on working at a coffee shop today, and wasted my time planning around the appointment because we were informed that we would need to vacate our apartment while they did work around our house. So much for that! I would have expected at least SOME effort to inspect our apartment and maybe try and look around for where they might be. Nope! Barely even lifted a finger. His colleague stood outside the house the entire time, and Gary wasn't even willing to touch the mattress. I had to pull it out for him. What kind of exterminator is afraid of getting their hands dirty? It's your job to find bugs and exterminate them. At least pretend you're trying dude. Before he came, he had us empty all of our dressers and put our clothes in airtight bins. I'll admit, that's good advice, but that's something you'd probably read online before dumping money and time on someone like this. So yeah, thanks for regurgitating obvious information to me. This guy didn't even bother looking into any dressers or closely inspect any of our beds. He made absolutely no effort on his part. I ended up finding more bed bugs myself after thoroughly inspecting my roomate's room, and putting actual effort into making sure that we dealt with them the best way we could for the meantime. If you are reading this and you've discovered bed bugs in an early stage and it's not a big infestation yet, I highly recommend that you watch Mark Rober's bed bug video and follow it religiously. Buy bed bug traps for your bed, encase your bed in a high quality bed mattress cover, apply diatomaceous earth powder in a thin layer around your room (please wear a N95 mask and do your best not to inhale any of it), etc. Follow everything in that video before your bed bug problem becomes an infestation. Please watch that video. It will do you justice. If you caught your bed bug problem too late, you'll need a professional. In other words, not this guy. He might have good reviews for other pests, but he has absolutely no idea what he's doing in regards to bed bugs. He's afraid of them. He ain't gonna help you. Next day, YJ were having a party and did not appear like they wanted to leave. I found Family Termite & Pest Control on Yelp the next day. What caught my attention is that the company does not have you sign any contracts, they come and take care of things that you ask them to take care of. I left a message on Yelp and received a response from Gary in fairly short timeframe. He was at my door steps the following morning and took care of the problem. That same evening, I did not see a single YJ. Gary took care of the problem in quick and effective manner. Price was also very reasonable. I will definitely consider FT&PC for any future pest needs.

Westfield Pest Control took $90.63 from me without notifying me that I would have to pay for…read moreanything. They admitted that they did not notify me. Instead they sent me an invoice and threatened me by saying if I did not pay said invoice it would go to Collections. In late 2021 I called Westfield Pest Control to ask for an estimate for mouse services. Amanda Blackman, the Office Manager and Vice President, was very nice over the phone. She listened to my request for an estimate and put it on the schedule. Oskar Cornejo, the technician, arrived at my home on the proper day. Oskar was professional but his visit consisted of walking around the property to talk with me and then to give me as an estimate for mouse services, as expected. Oskar gave me a verbal estimate and left. As a prudent homeowner I then evaluated that estimate and compared it to other pest companies in the area (i.e., Viking, Universal Pest Control). A few days later, to my surprise, I received an invoice in the mail from Westfield Pest Control. I had not requested Oskar to proceed with the mouse service so I was quite shocked as to why Westfield Pest Control was charging me. I emailed Amanda and I received a reply from Maddy Annicchiarico, the additional office manager and direct assistant to Amanda Blackman. Maddy courteously responded to my email to confirm that I had to pay Westfield Pest Control $90.63. I mentioned that I had not received any pest services. Maddy wrote that I would have to pay for the estimate. I mentioned that neither Amanda nor Oskar had mentioned that an estimate would cost money. It is also not on the Westfield Pest Control website. Maddy wrote to me: "I do apologize that no fee was mentioned but we do charge a fee for this service." Think about that for a minute: Westfield Pest Control admitted to omitting any mention of this fee. Yet they proceeded to charge me $90.63. When I said this was unreasonable they threatened to go to Collections with this. There's a term for this: it's called a shakedown. Westfield Pest Control decided to charge me without telling me first and then threatened me in case I didn't pay. How can I or anyone else for that matter trust this company going forward? Why did they charge me without telling me (and admit to this omission once I asked them about it)? The only answer I can arrive at right now is that the president of this company, Robert Blackmon Jr., prioritizes profits over people. And no one else at the company has the will or the power to change that policy. The business model of this company appears to be: surprise potential customers with an invoice and then threaten Collections in case they don't pay. If you are thinking of hiring this company I strongly suggest getting, in writing, an explanation as to whether and when payment is required. I have already raised a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will be looking to Westfield Pest Control's competitors for proper customer service.

Robert responded back in a timely fashion with an appointment within a days time frame that was really appreciated as living with pest is gorse specifically during pandemic. He was at the location(s) as promised and did a thorough job of inspecting around the unit to take care of the root cause. He ensured everything was taken care from outside and then treated inside with sprays for the roaches and mice traps inside the unit at all possible location with a warranty period. He knows his domain thoroughly and takes an extra mile to get rid of the pest. I wouldn't hesitate in utilizing his services again in future!

I moved into a newly renovated house and all of my trims and finishes are on the expensive side. I have had a few services for treatment of ants and the people that they sent out put this clear glue like bait on top of my baseboards instead of the bottom of my baseboards (the service people were 2 young kids, probably still attending school closely). I was assured that the bait will be gone and if not, that it will be easily removed with some water and a rag. THEY WERE WRONG! The bait dried into a hard solid substance, and to remove it, I had to chip it off of my board. This of course removed paint, hence I had to repaint again. This process had taken my professional cleaning company hours to do and cost me a few hundred $$$ to remediate. I also had a billing issue which took a few months to fix, every time I called, I would get a promise to fix but nothing ever happened. I supposedly even spoken to a manager which I was later told was a senior sales person! It was a long process and now I know to always request a senior technician to service my house instead of allowing them to just send a kid with limited knowledge.

He installed a wire cage with an exit door on top of the chimney that would allow the raccoon to leave and not able to come back and the cost for that was $1000+tax. For a week and a half I am dealing with this problem and never resolved and no one follow up to check if the raccoon is still there. I called my handyman who came and saw there was a hole underneath of the roof that Louis was not able to find. I am really not happy with the service.
