PLEASE READ!!! I had went to protein lab because I was craving a açaí bowl & I checked on Yelp and this place has great reviews. I went in to order the monster for myself & got my sister the warrior. And since it was hot today and I didn't want the drink & bowl melting I had asked if they can make it thick. The cashier repeated my word to make sure I said the right thing. And then I paid & because this is take out, I didn't expect I needed to tip & I think me not tipping didn't make the cashier happy. So first he makes the drink & it came out runny. Like he did not hear me say thick & like he did not repeat the word after me. And then my bowl came out and it looked fine. I got home and ate the bowl & my stomach started feeling a little upset. I was feeling uncomfortable for a while & then had to use the restroom. And then had to throw up. My sister drank the smoothie & she's had her battles with the toilet. I don't know if the drinks & bowls here usually give that effect, OR maybe they accidentally used some expired ingredients BUT I'm hoping that man did not put something in our order because I did not tip on a TO-GO order. If this wasn't a to-go order & I was eating there where they needed to clean after my seat/etc... I would have no problem tipping but this wasn't the case. Regardless, I'm giving a 1 star for my entire experience & the quality of the drink. I don't wish this experience on anyone. read more

This spot is like a hole in the wall. I like the fact they are transparent with what is in the smoothie. I really enjoy the match man smoothie. I can taste the matcha and the whey. I feel like they don't skip out on it. The service was nice and quick. You are in and out within a few minutes. Def coming back again when I'm in the area. The 2 girls that were working on June 23 before 7:25pm were very rude and they denied service they were in a rush to go home and I told them I came from far and made it before their closing time. The girl picking up the trash told me unfortunately they were closed already. Really? Horrible customer service! Not until I told them how is it possible if it was before their business hours closing time. One of my biggest complaints about this place is the fact that their Açai bowls are so good, when you try to order açai from another place you are disappointed. They set the bar too high. I don't know what the peanut butter is made of, but it's so good I think it should be illegal. I hope with all my heart it's PB Fit (For calorie purposes) although my PB Fit taste nothing like this. Sometimes when I am dying in work out class, I promise myself protein Lab. I some how finish, and drag myself in for a protein filled delicious meal supplement. This place has been my go to place for acai for years! But today we decided to get something different than the usual acai bowl. We ordered the hermosa bowl and it was SUCH a big mistake. Do not get it!!! I will vouch for their normal acai bowl 100% (texture and flavor BOMB, better than blue bowl imo) but the hermosa bowl just is not it. The difference is the chocolate almond milk; it completely killed the texture of the acai! ): Made it soupy and droopy? None of us thought it would make that big of a difference but it did so it was just a bit of a disappointment. On the other hand our protein shakes were good. I went the old fashion route and placed my order at the register: one regular sized Wipe Out. The Wipe Out smoothie is the perfect blend of nonfat yogurt, pineapple, coconut, strawberry, and banana. This beverage was definitely on the sweeter side, but made a great addition to this sunny holiday by the pool. My last 3 visits have all been the same; I place an online order, show up after my estimated pickup time and they tell me they JUST received the order. Last time I ordered in person they were all too busy talking among each other to even acknowledge me and my bf to place an order despite being the only people in there. They need to do a better job with ordering ahead and customer service as a whole. I keep going back because their menu is great and I'd rather take my chances here than go somewhere else to get nothing but a sugar/juice filled smoothie but unfortunately service isn't what it used to be.
