Outstanding! I have dealt with many excellent companies over many years, and Protech is The Best! Discovering an elderly relative's guest house had been leaking and was now filled with damaged and molded antiques and personal mementos was devastating. After a few weeks of no progress with another company, I was given Protech's number. Talk about going from chaos and confusion to total calm and control. As soon as Kristin got on the phone with me things stared happening. Within the hour of our first conversation all of the problems from the last few weeks were being figured out, put in motion and taken care of. Dax came out to take a look and figure out how to get everything organized. It was a complicated mess for a number of reasons. This included everything in the place needing to be cleaned, packed out, stored. Then the abatement people, mold testers, replacement of floors and walls and ceilings and all the many steps of mold removal, in order. Then everything brought back in.He was the first person who came out and was able to see the whole picture and clearly make a plan, get the insurance people up to speed and finally happy with the information they were getting, and get things going. From there it only got better. Every one of the people Protech sent out was outstanding. The most amazing person I met was Lupe, who came with her crew to do the pack out and storage and made the process of discarding treasured things and then guiding me on what could and couldn't be saved a much less painful experience than it could have been. The way they respected our treasures and took care in the way they handled things was really caring and wonderful. The beautiful and ultra profession job they did of numbering, cataloging, photographing and packing each and every box was a compulsive's dream! I stopped being worried when Lupe's crew got going. Knowing that people like her were the kind of people Dax was sending to take care of me was a massive relief, confidence builder and stress buster. Kristin made getting the mold, walls, floors, paint, crown molding, electric, etc etc etc - a million decisions and arrangements, just get taken care of like clockwork. Always keeping me informed. Perfection. Kristin was also always completely available to me and answered every question I had, explained anything I didn't understand, or misunderstood, and never hesitated to immediately deal with something and get right back to me. The confidence she gave me relaxed me and carried out throughout the entire now completed project. Protech's well deserved reputation was exemplified in the work of many others who were involved in this project, but Kristin, Dax and Lupe were the the Master Hands who made this such an outstanding experience. I could not be more pleased and will be calling Protech for any projects I have in the future beyond just this insurance driven recent one. We were referred to Protech by our insurance company, Allied (Nationwide). Grant's crew was EXCELLENT!! This was an insurance repair. We had flood and fire damage and our kitchen and living room needed cleaning, clearing, airing, and remodeling. Grant's crew boxed up our tenant's belongings very carefully and professionally, placing them in boxes and some heavy-duty bags, labeled all, and plastic wrapped boxes together, then put belongings in a UNITS (Pod-type of container). The remodel looks great -- new wood kitchen cabinets, linoleum that looks like tile, treated floors in the living room before laying new carpet, replaced blinds, painted kitchen and living room and pocket door -- everything looks great!! And Garrett, the final site inspector for completion, did an on-site visit after the work was completed to make sure that we were happy with the results and that the remodel passed the final inspection. Shortly thereafter, our tenant moved out and we wanted to replace carpet in the rest of the house. We could not locate the matching carpet at Lowe's. We texted Grant. Immediately, Grant responded with the name and type of carpet that Protech installed in our living room and provided the name of the store where we could purchase matching carpet. We visited the store, brought the carpet swatch and information from Grant and we were in and out of the carpet store in about 15 minutes!! I have been working with ProTech's emergency services (water mitigation, contents pack out) for over 2 weeks now. We had water damage to a good portion of our home's floors and lower drywall --we needed to get someone to work fast to start protecting the rest of our home and remove the damaged materials. We had a water heater fail, and it flooded my daughter's room and our master bedroom. ProTech was referred to us by our insurance agent for their emergency services. From the first time I spoke to Carlos from ProTech, I was very impressed with his attention to detail and his professionalism, along with his kind, easy manner. He explained how the process would work from start to finish and was willing to answer all my questions to the best of his ability. Dealing with Protech has been a nightmare. They took up to 1 year to finish work on a very small bathroom. They continuously sent out incompetent sub-contractors who did work that was so bad, they had to send out a different crew each time to repair the previous mess. They would attempt to repair one thing and ended up damaging other parts of the house. Kristin has been patient and polite. Monet, on the other hand is the total opposite; incompetent. They sent me an invoice stating that I owe them money when its them who owe me. I called to clear up their confusion & Monet said she would look into it. It has been over 1 month. I have not heard from them. I called again. When they thought I owed them money, they gave me 10 days to pay or threatened to send me to collections. They over-charged me and are aware they owe me, however, now she can't find my file. I honestly think they milk it so they can get the insurance companies to pay them 10 hours for work that can take 2 hours tops. Homeowners Insurance companies beware!!!!!! read more

Project Coordinator Monique was the consistent source of clarification with kindness throughout a complicated kitchen restoration, a process entirely new to me. She was unfailingly responsive. Jarrett took a call on his cell one evening, explaining what to him might have been mundane procedures as if he had all the time in the world. At every step of the repair process, the contractors and crew working to get my kitchen back to, and in some cases, better than, new were universally well equipped and expert: Edwardo from GBI Painting; Vahan and Paul from Crescenta Valley Flooring; Kevin, Ruby, Becky, and crew I do not know from Seib Construction; and Robert, from Robert's Plumbing. All of the hardwood and carpeting had to be removed, all cabinets in the kitchen, den and one bathroom were removed, and 2-3 feet at the bottom of interior walls were removed. My mother was out of her home for three months. But, when she returned, she was delighted with the outstanding work that Protech Construction-Arcadia and their team did. We took the opportunity to upgrade her appliances and renovate the one bathroom which we of course paid extra for, over and above the insurance settlement. Christina at Protech was my hero today. I filed a water damage claim with my insurance company, who contracted a third party appraiser to look at the damage. The third party appraiser did not contact me for 3 days and once he did, he refused to even look at his schedule to tell me when he would be able to appraise the damage until a mitigating company took care of the water damage. I complained to my insurance company and they referred me to Protech, who called me back IN LESS THAN ONE HOUR. I explained the situation to Christina, who sent a technician to the property within a few hours of speaking to her, and arranged for the appraiser to overlap with the technician to make sure we could get the work done as expeditiously as possible. Protech Construction is as good as it gets! Their representative, Ray Lutynski was referred to us by our State Farm Ins agent after we had a wind/water damage claim. We called him the morning of our loss and he was out to our house within 3 hours! Ray and his crew were professional, courteous and did their job quickly and thoroughly while coordinating with our insurance company. Cleaned up the water, cut out the damaged dry wall, pulled up the carpet, installed dryers and covered the roof to prevent further damage. A couple days later when the dry out was complete they were back on schedule to remove the dryers so we could begin repairs. After our house flooded I was leery of the process. Our insurance adjuster Tony with Nationwide advised they use Pro Tech but we were free to use someone else if we desired. We chose to go with Pro Tech and we are glad we did. Jarrett and his team were fantastic. We just had the downstairs of our home remodeled months before. We were afraid it would never look the same. Truth be told, after completion of the work I think it looks better. I spoke with Jarrett several times who always kept me in the loop and followed up to make sure things were progressing as planned. Another company came in and abandoned us in the middle of the job leaving us without floors, doors, or fully functioning bathrooms for over two months. We were then put in touch with Ray from ProTech and he came out, gave us a fair and reasonable estimate, and sent out a crew all within a coupe of days. We had water damage from a leaking roof following a rainstorm. Our insurance agent suggested we gve Brown's Protech a call and they arrived the same day to assess the damage and sent Preliminary quotes to our agent so she could file the claim. The next day they brought the team out, set up the containment and removed the drywall. They found mold and brought out the abatement team. With everything off the walls and the ceiling It looked like we were in for a long project. But in a few weeks everything was back in together and looked great. They worked with our insurance adjuster to make sure he was covering all of the damage. They are a great team to work with and I have no complaints. PROTECH CONSTRUCTION is amazing. I am a property manager in Moreno Valley, CA and I had an issue with water damage at one of my rentals. I had another company come in and do the demo and they messed so much up I could not rehire them.
