Only giving more than 1 star as their beer is great. My suggestion, buy a six-pack and drink on your own patio. Then not subjected to the ill-behaved parents who let their children run around, screaming, taking over an adult beverage venue like it's an out door playground. It's so f'ing noisy. And save some money and hearing. After all this time being opened, Prost should have had sense to put up sound barriers on the ceiling. And signs that ill behaved patrons running around will be asked to leave. And enforce it. Sat in back corner table to be away from the children to be subject to swarm of gnats. Not enjoyable. This is truly a great building, layout, and atmosphere. The beers were very good. When I checked out the menu prior to visiting the place I was excited to see German potato salad was offered. My mom, my wife, and a good friend of mines wife all made fantastic, true to form German potato salad. This was not German potato salad. You never find a true representation of this food item made with dill and sour cream. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. We got fries, schnitzel sandwich and grilled chicken sandwich. The schnitzel sandwich was very very dry and the bread tasted old. The chicken sandwich was opposite...very wet, almost soggy. A mess to eat. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if I didn't eat here again but I love the fact they have live music, outdoor seating with dogs and an open atmosphere. Don't expect a German style Kneipe (pub/bar), it's definitely not that. They do have a great selection of German style beers, which are pretty actuate (I don't know if they conform to the Reinheitsgebot, German beer purity law). It is bright, airy, and spacious inside with (as expected) mostly light, German-style beers on tap. Lighter beers are not our go-to usually but the ones we had were tasty! I love how you get to write down the beers you want and keep the sheet to refer to when tasting. Only thing that could improve the bar would be serving warm wine, total German thing I for sure thought they would have that, especially for the winter!! We met up with friends two weeks ago. It was about 4 in the afternoon and already crowded. However, we found a table outside in the sunshine. Several things impressed us about this business: First, the food and drink were delicious. We got several meat and cheese platters, and large warm pretzels. Between the group, we tasted the beer, wine, and seltzers. I thought the cucumber seltzer was great until I sipped the peach one my husband got. Superb! This Prost was clean, spacious, and efficient. You could jump up at any time and order drink or food, without waiting in long lines. There were plenty of cashiers and servers. Employees were constantly picking up our used glasses. I spoke with the manager. I think his name was Joel. I told him how impressed I was with this establishment. He said, "I have the best employees." He said that over and over again: "I don't know how I got so lucky, but I have the very best employees." The bathrooms were large and clean, with fun murals on the wall. So, I told a few friends and family. My daughter talked her book club into going a few days later. They had a great time. Then we met some other friends the following week and sat by the fire pit. It was fun to watch kids play on the grass. We will definitely be back. One employee who stood out to me was Dee Dee. read more

It's so much better when it's slow cooked properly with apple, browned onion, and juniper berries. The potato salad is good for yellow American potato salad. Complaining about self service at a Biergarten is silly. The servers we did interact with were kind, quick and helpful. I agree with another poster, 18%, 20% and 22% tip options on self serve is excessive. I'll default to 10-15% and custom tip. I will be back. read more

I love Prost. Coming from a German descendant, this is one of my favorite breweries in CO. I enjoy the beers, food and service. This doesn't go against the brewery, however, it is the constant kids running around. As an adult, I want to go have a beer after a long day of work. The last thing I want to hear is screaming children everywhere. It's hard sitting out on the patio, since it feels there's always kids around. Can't play with the cornhole set up, or ping pong table since the turf area is always swarming with kids running around. Along with the folks who bring their dogs and have the leashes out feet in front of them. Yesterday, my family and I had gotten food, and there were a few dog hairs in our food from the dog shaking. It is a buzzkill at times. Also, this is a brewery, not a restaurant. Meaning this isn't full service, you're responsible for getting your own drinks, food, utensils and condiments. That also goes for cleaning up your mess and throwing your own food away. The amount of times I see people just leave trays of food and trash on tables. It's not that hard to clean up after yourself! I just ask that folks do better and have some common courtesy for those around you. Otherwise, I fully recommend Prost and their Pilsner! read more
