Great outdoor seating with misters and live music! The beers are great if you like German style beer. The food is what actual took me by surprise. It was not typical "bar or pub" food. My first visit to Prost was not pleasant. We expressed our concerns and the managers were quick to compensate and welcome us back to try again. I have to say, they made up for it. We read a ridiculous review here yesterday (from Blair), and came to Prost in spite of it. She clearly has never been to a Biergarten before, because most are family friendly. The energy and ambiance was incredible. They have a nice dog friendly outdoor patio with fire pits out front and then plenty of picnic style seating inside. Plenty of beer and cocktail choices to choose from and the staff was extremely friendly. I don't know how you can rate this place any less than 5 stars (unless you're a miserable person named Blair who's rated over 70 places), but we loved it. Will definitely be back! read more

Don't go. Food is bland and service is poor. After ordering I noted the order sat in the cook area getting cold. My wife ordered the lemon chicken bowl, took two bites and couldn't continue. I ordered the schnitzel sandwich that truly tasted like cardboard. Upon registering my critique with the service, the manager accused me of being rude. The good: GREAT beer selection and quality. The not so good: food is ok, tasted like you'd get at a Costco sampling (which I like, but not at a restaurant for full price). The bad: beer and food systems don't talk so you have to have 2 tabs. More importantly, this is a SELF SERVE restaurant and the default tip is 25%. I don't know anyone who tips at all, much less 25% at a McDonalds, why would this be different??? Then, when you override the default and select "other" it doesn't let you put in another percent - so if you're not paying attention typing in "15.00" ends up with a $15 tip. To each their own, it just felt shady to me, let people tip what they want, especially now that wages are up. read more

Prost is a great spot for a nice beer or two but only on weeknights. On weekends, the place is unfortunately flooded with young parents who must have forgotten that toddlers and literal infants are below the drinking age. The beer menu is fantastic, the food is delicious, but I'm sure most people would appreciate if they could in some way, preserve the experience for people going for beers from the people too lazy to hire a babysitter for their night out. My brother genuinely almost tripped over someone's unsupervised kid laying on the floor in the main area past the doors on his way to close his tab and on a Saturday evening, based on the past few times we've tried coming in, the most consistent ambient sound you will hear is a baby screaming. Like I said, love this place, any other day I'd give it 5 stars and the staff is fantastic, but it's hard to have a nice time over beers with friends when every table around you has a minimum of two toddlers on iPads. read more

Prost Brewing - Front Entrance - Beer Gardens Near Me - Highlands Ranch, Colorado

First of all, this isn't a family restaurant. To be honest, the place was disappointing. It is very much just a big beer hall where groups of guys gather to drink beer. The food is marginal, and that's putting it kindly. We (three adults) all ordered something different and none of it was very good, including the french fries, which are sold ala carte. I got the biergarten burger. The burger patty had an odd taste, and the lettuce had wilted into slime that needed to be scraped off. We didn't try the beer, which is obviously the main--and maybe the only--attraction. The building is huge. It will probably hold 500 people. It's all open seating and you stand in line to order. The tables are long, picnic-style, with only a very few booths. It's incredibly noisy inside. The good news is that it doesn't take long to order and get served. The bad news is that the food isn't worth standing in line for. It isn't good German food; it isn't even good by fast food standards. Since we aren't big drinkers when we go out to eat, there's no reason whatsoever for us to go back. read more

The pear apple cider was delish! The atmosphere isn't what I was expecting it is kind of weird vibes... the beers are pretty damn good though! The food is also good. I got the pretzel, fingerling potatoes, sliders, curry sausage, Mac and cheese and the fries. I would ONLY suggest the loaded fingerling potatoes and the pretzel. read more

I've been eating schnitzel for years the schnitzel here was very very very very salty and then they throw the coleslaw on top the schnitzel the whole meal is disgusting I had a glass of hefeveisen beer it was terrible it was not even jefe Vison it almost tasted like Miller lite with a little additive. The restaurant's a pigsty. Dirty tables and dirty dishes on all tables. I would not eat there. The Schnitzel was made from a smashed chicken breast not veal. read more

Thank God - I've decided the only beer I really love around here is Prost, and it's finally only 15 minutes away. Very German feel to the place and lots of great outdoor seating! Price point a bit on the high side for around here but I'm happy to pay more for awesome beer. The pretzel was significantly better than the one we had in Hofbrauhaus in Munich a couple of months ago. Didn't try other food so can't comment on anything else. read more

We've been here two times and both times the food was amazing. We've had the brats, the Reuben sandwich and the loaded potatoes. The beer is just so so but it's nice to hang out with the doors open and listen to the music. The reason for my low rating is that we were there at 6:30 and the place was like a daycare with beer. Kids were running around everywhere, in and out of the doors, between tables, and even on the stage where the band had to shew them away. Where are these kids' parents? Some of them were so little they were running around in diapers that needed changing. It made it very difficult to relax and really have pleasant conversations. Next time we will likely choose a more adult friendly brewery. read more

Prost used to be one of my favorite places for a brunch or lunch visit, sometimes with live music, sit outside on a nice day and have a great beer. Unfortunately, they've taken to having children's birthday parties, with screaming children, strollers everywhere, etc. It's become more of a daycare than a biergarten.
