I've been here about six times now and this place is very consistent and everything you would want from a brewery. Great beer and very good food. Everything I tried on the menu so far I had liked. Great pretzels, very good Ruben, flavorful chicken doner kebab. The Radler is a solid beer here on a hot summer day. Vibe is great with lots of outdoor and indoor seating. The music selection is also really good, a nice mix for everyone. Everytime I visit this place, everyone seems to be having a great time here! read more

The food was good. Had the pork schnitzel sandwich with a side of fondue spaetzle. The spaetzle was a little dry. The pear cider beer was very good but pricey for how small it was. I would go back and try something different for food. There isn't really servers. You have to go order yourself then use a tracker thing. The place is very nice love the outdoor fire pits. read more

Nice location, fun, good for kids. Large choice of beer but expensive . Food okay but not great. Live music and large screen TVs. Fun place for group get together. Very loud atmosphere. read more

I love Prost. Coming from a German descendant, this is one of my favorite breweries in CO. I enjoy the beers, food and service. This doesn't go against the brewery, however, it is the constant kids running around. As an adult, I want to go have a beer after a long day of work. The last thing I want to hear is screaming children everywhere. It's hard sitting out on the patio, since it feels there's always kids around. Can't play with the cornhole set up, or ping pong table since the turf area is always swarming with kids running around. Along with the folks who bring their dogs and have the leashes out feet in front of them. Yesterday, my family and I had gotten food, and there were a few dog hairs in our food from the dog shaking. It is a buzzkill at times. Also, this is a brewery, not a restaurant. Meaning this isn't full service, you're responsible for getting your own drinks, food, utensils and condiments. That also goes for cleaning up your mess and throwing your own food away. The amount of times I see people just leave trays of food and trash on tables. It's not that hard to clean up after yourself! I just ask that folks do better and have some common courtesy for those around you. Otherwise, I fully recommend Prost and their Pilsner! read more

I love the place!! Beer is fantastic, staff is amazing! But omg the stench in the bathrooms!! ! I'd take a porta potty before using the bathrooms!! Gag worthy! read more

Great outdoor seating with misters and live music! The beers are great if you like German style beer. The food is what actual took me by surprise. It was not typical "bar or pub" food. It was delicious and different. Are you not a beer drinker? Say less. Frozen margaritas. Do I have you now? They were amazing. It's my new favorite place. Let me not forget to mention a huge bonus! They're dog friendly! Water bowls and happy pups everywhere. read more

The good: GREAT beer selection and quality. The not so good: food is ok, tasted like you'd get at a Costco sampling (which I like, but not at a restaurant for full price). The bad: beer and food systems don't talk so you have to have 2 tabs. More importantly, this is a SELF SERVE restaurant and the default tip is 25%. I don't know anyone who tips at all, much less 25% at a McDonalds, why would this be different??? Then, when you override the default and select "other" it doesn't let you put in another percent - so if you're not paying attention typing in "15.00" ends up with a $15 tip. To each their own, it just felt shady to me, let people tip what they want, especially now that wages are up. read more

10/10. Phenomenal location. Phenomenal service. It's great! Must visit! Everything ordered...from beer to food was absolutely delicious. I have visited the Fort Collins location but this was closer to home. If you're in the area just passing by, definitely visit. read more

Prost Brewing - Front Entrance - Beer Gardens Near Me - Highlands Ranch, Colorado

My first visit to Prost was not pleasant. We expressed our concerns and the managers were quick to compensate and welcome us back to try again. I have to say, they made up for it. The second visit was significantly better. Great spot to grab a drink and some food, Long line but goes quick. Food is great and beer is stellar! Prost is definitely worth a try! read more

We read a ridiculous review here yesterday (from Blair), and came to Prost in spite of it. She clearly has never been to a Biergarten before, because most are family friendly. The energy and ambiance was incredible. They have a nice dog friendly outdoor patio with fire pits out front and then plenty of picnic style seating inside. Plenty of beer and cocktail choices to choose from and the staff was extremely friendly. I don't know how you can rate this place any less than 5 stars (unless you're a miserable person named Blair who's rated over 70 places), but we loved it. Will definitely be back! read more

Don't go. Food is bland and service is poor. After ordering I noted the order sat in the cook area getting cold. My wife ordered the lemon chicken bowl, took two bites and couldn't continue. I ordered the schnitzel sandwich that truly tasted like cardboard. Upon registering my critique with the service, the manager accused me of being rude. Plenty of other places where you can get good service and much better food. read more

Been there twice so far. Sarah at the bar is nice and very attentive. I noticed that all the employees stayed busy and were accommodating customers. Sara checked on us several times and even said "I'm making my rounds"! Obviously checking if we needed anything! Great place! read more

The outdoor area is great, dog friendly and has heat lamps! Really great pretzel! In addition to tables, there is also a small seating area around a fire pit. The fire pit doesn't give of a ton of heat but was still nice! read more

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, great staff, great food and very good prices that normally is tough to find when getting German food!

I've been eating schnitzel for years the schnitzel here was very very very very salty and then they throw the coleslaw on top the schnitzel the whole meal is disgusting I had a glass of hefeveisen beer it was terrible it was not even jefe Vison it almost tasted like Miller lite with a little additive. The restaurant's a pigsty. Dirty tables and dirty dishes on all tables. I would not eat there. The Schnitzel was made from a smashed chicken breast not veal. read more

Was in town over the weekend looking to relocate the fam to the area and had the pleasure of stopping in for a pint and little snack. The ambiance and the vibe was great! They have a great selection of German Beers and the manager Joel was super hospitable and made us feel extremely welcome. We will for sure be back! read more

We were in Denver for a vaca with our daughter and couldn't get enough of this place!! Authentic German family atmosphere and the best variety of traditional German beers in the USA!! read more

We were so excited to find this place. The beer and food are great!! We had the knack wurst, potato salad, pretzel, strudel (yum) and beer (Kolsch). All of it was great! Price is reasonable for what you get. It won't disappoint. read more

Thank God - I've decided the only beer I really love around here is Prost, and it's finally only 15 minutes away. Very German feel to the place and lots of great outdoor seating! Price point a bit on the high side for around here but I'm happy to pay more for awesome beer. The pretzel was significantly better than the one we had in Hofbrauhaus in Munich a couple of months ago. Didn't try other food so can't comment on anything else. read more

First of all, this isn't a family restaurant. To be honest, the place was disappointing. It is very much just a big beer hall where groups of guys gather to drink beer. The food is marginal, and that's putting it kindly. We (three adults) all ordered something different and none of it was very good, including the french fries, which are sold ala carte. I got the biergarten burger. The burger patty had an odd taste, and the lettuce had wilted into slime that needed to be scraped off. We didn't try the beer, which is obviously the main--and maybe the only--attraction. The building is huge. It will probably hold 500 people. It's all open seating and you stand in line to order. The tables are long, picnic-style, with only a very few booths. It's incredibly noisy inside. The good news is that it doesn't take long to order and get served. The bad news is that the food isn't worth standing in line for. It isn't good German food; it isn't even good by fast food standards. Since we aren't big drinkers when we go out to eat, there's no reason whatsoever for us to go back. read more

Great food, Beere and atmosphere. Sitting outside in the sunshine with a beer and Currywurst is almost like being in Germany.

The pear apple cider was delish! The atmosphere isn't what I was expecting it is kind of weird vibes... the beers are pretty damn good though! The food is also good. I got the pretzel, fingerling potatoes, sliders, curry sausage, Mac and cheese and the fries. I would ONLY suggest the loaded fingerling potatoes and the pretzel. read more

Great place for family outing. Outdoor fun for kids and great variety of brews for adults.

We love Prost, so happy they're now in Highlands Ranch! Best beer in town. Delicious tasting beer, great German food & large selection of drinks for everyone. More kid friendly during daytime hours (gets crazy busy & loud at night.) read more

Great beer, great service!! Cornhole on the patio, relaxing and visiting with family! Ping Pone also available to play! Great fun with family!! read more

Prost is a great spot for a nice beer or two but only on weeknights. On weekends, the place is unfortunately flooded with young parents who must have forgotten that toddlers and literal infants are below the drinking age. The beer menu is fantastic, the food is delicious, but I'm sure most people would appreciate if they could in some way, preserve the experience for people going for beers from the people too lazy to hire a babysitter for their night out. My brother genuinely almost tripped over someone's unsupervised kid laying on the floor in the main area past the doors on his way to close his tab and on a Saturday evening, based on the past few times we've tried coming in, the most consistent ambient sound you will hear is a baby screaming. Like I said, love this place, any other day I'd give it 5 stars and the staff is fantastic, but it's hard to have a nice time over beers with friends when every table around you has a minimum of two toddlers on iPads. read more

First time and was so excited to finally check out the new Prost. Dog owners be warned: If you walk inside to order just to sit OUTSIDE WITH YOUR BEER, you will be told your dog can't be inside even to order a beer. Only rude option given was to tie my dog outside and leave him while I went inside. Left in tears. Go to another brewery in the area that is actually dog friendly. read more

Great outdoor patio and really good service. You go to the counter and order your food and they bring it out to you. some really good German selections on a limited menu. The place was very crowded on a Sunday afternoon. read more

I went and got a flight, brought a growler to fill with what we liked. I'd've happily taken home a growler of any of my samples - first time that's happened. And we ordered schnitzel and a pretzel - both were good, with good serving sizes as well. Ended up filling the growler and buying a crowler - another first. Someone put a lot of money into making this place top quality. Spacious dog patio, unasked they brought our Molly some water! read more

We've been here two times and both times the food was amazing. We've had the brats, the Reuben sandwich and the loaded potatoes. The beer is just so so but it's nice to hang out with the doors open and listen to the music. The reason for my low rating is that we were there at 6:30 and the place was like a daycare with beer. Kids were running around everywhere, in and out of the doors, between tables, and even on the stage where the band had to shew them away. Where are these kids' parents? Some of them were so little they were running around in diapers that needed changing. It made it very difficult to relax and really have pleasant conversations. Next time we will likely choose a more adult friendly brewery. read more

I just wanted to buy one beer and pay cash. Prost refused to accept my $10 and the bartender would have received a tip. This customer will never return! Prost needs to understand many people do not have bank accounts nor credit cards. Prost is unfair and unreasonable about cash transactions apparently my money is Dirty. read more

Prost used to be one of my favorite places for a brunch or lunch visit, sometimes with live music, sit outside on a nice day and have a great beer. Unfortunately, they've taken to having children's birthday parties, with screaming children, strollers everywhere, etc. It's become more of a daycare than a biergarten. (Who takes their children to a drinking establishment for a party, anyway?) read more

Tried Highlands Ranch location blaring music was obnoxious and reverberated off the high ceilings making it hard to relax and enjoy. Food and beer were over priced and average. Nothing special about this place. Won't be back. read more

We love Prost beer and their schnitzel sandwich is awesome! This location has a great patio with tons of space, but it opens directly to the parking lot so not ideal for letting the kids roam without a very watchful eye. read more

Fun place with good beer selection and solid take on German food! Feels like a modern take on a German bier hall with a Colorado flavor. I love that this place offers something different than the typical suburban takes. read more

Came here again for dinner. Be sure and try the fingerling potato salad! I add chicken and get the herb vinaigrette dressing. Omg it's sooo good!!! read more

I would give this place five stars except for the extreme amount of children. Adults like to enjoy the band, play corn hole, giant jenga... not even possible with the green overrun by kids. Kids jumping on the cod hole boards, in the tip jar, on the stage... come on. This is not what I want from a brewery BAR. read more

Matthew was the best! His service was phenomenal and he knew so much about all wines and food.

Great beer, spectacular food, and a lovely ambiance! Their fondue is probably the best I've ever had and the service is wonderful! Great place with great employees. read more

Busy, clean atmosphere. Lots of families. Self-service, so don't expect much on that front. I got a peach lemonade seltzer that wasn't very good, cost me about $8. Chicken sandwich was decent but was $12.50, without any fries or side. Nothing special and not good for your wallet. Typical of a brewery. You might be better off at the Lazy Dog next door. read more
