Ever since I started going for mani/pedi, I have come to be loyal to one or two locations. My wife, recently received a gift card to this location. Against my better judgment, I chose to utilize the gift card and forego my regular spot. Big mistake. I reached this location at 1130 and the lady was nice enough to move by 12 pm appointment. Then started the deluxe mani/ pedi. I sat down and was asked if I wanted something to drink. I asked for a coke, but before I could even open the can ,one lady had me put my feet into soak, while the other lady put a dish of water on a pillow on my lap to soak my fingers. Simultaneously the manicurist, started adjusting my seat to make me feel comfortable. It was clear she had no clue as to how to operate the seat because first she had me leaning back with the seat massage rollers working, and then the seat moved forward putting me in a crunch position and then again back and forth. Finally, even though uncomfortable, I said "I don't want a back massage and just tilt my chair backwards." While this was all going on, the pedicures T had me lift one foot out of the water to put it on the shaky footrest causing the dish with water to tip and spill water all over the pillow on my lap. From there, the pedicurist started cutting my nails faster than I've ever seen them cut, but going back multiple times to cut again because of the shabby job she did the first time around. Now, we'll pretend things are going okay on my feet for the next few minutes and let's digress back to my hands. The manicurist was cutting my finger nails and ever so often slipping the cutter a bit too deep and hurting me. Once she finished that, she started taking off the dead skin around my cuticles. Now, at most places the don't take off too much. This woman "Kim" went to town and kept going, leaving the skin by my finger cuticles very tender and sore. Ok back to my feet. The pedicurist or as I like to fondly call her "the Devils protégée" kept grabbing my left foot and telling me to relax. I explained to the lady that I had a stroke six years ago and I cannot relax my foot; even then, this lady continued to press down on my toes so that my foot would magically relax and act as she wanted. Then, both ladies had the nerve to ask me if I wanted paraffin for my feet and hands. I replied: " I just want this to be over soon". Then the pedicurist put on the timer before giving me a foot massage, and I don't know if she put more effort into watching the time or actually rubbing my feet. Stay away!! What a horrible place this will be the last time I ever go to this place. Rude people, terrible service, and poor workmanship. They didn't even own up to what they did. I have included pictures of the work that they did. As you can see they have filed my nails down incredible thin, nails residue is everywhere. I've never had my nails filed down so thin. As a result my nails are very flimsy. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. When I told the tech that this is unacceptable she told me I could go to Walmart to go get nail harder. I love Mya for pedicures and Tom and Alex for Nexgen. They are very precise and do exactly what you ask.

This place is a train wreck and a health code violation. The same towel was used on multiple people. No one, Appears to be skilled. The salon needs a manager and trained staff. All the staff complain to the customers, so it is stressful situation. Very concerned about the lack of regard for keeps towels separate for each customer. My nails look terrible and several knicks. This nail salon is great! We came here for pedis a few days ago. Mine chipped (should Have used OPI) and I came back and they gladly gave me a full polish change! They were very sweet! The original pedi was great, too!!! I would highly recommend Prosper Deluxe Nail Spa! read more

This place is a joke. I walked in with my Down Syndrome sister. We both wanted a regular pedicure, she wanted a simple manicure and i wanted a fill-in for my acrylic finger nails. They first said they had to remove my acrylics that i just had put on last time at a different salon (thought that was weird). Then she preceded to put acrylics back on without adding the fake tips. So i didn't have any length at all. Needless to say my acrylics look horrible. I have bumps and spots where there is no polish. When we checked out the woman said i owe her $147. I didn't realize at the time but she did not give me a receipt nor a breakdown of the cost. I have never paid that much for 2 regular pedicures, 1 regular manicure and unneeded acrylics. If you attend to still go there, watch how much they charge you. They are very sketcky. Boy did i get robbed. read more

Went here last minute on a Friday afternoon without an appointment. Had NexGen done on my nails in a french manicure. Turned out really decent. My only complaint is the televisions are on CNN and some Spanish news station. Very distracting, maybe something like HGTV or Bravo channel would be more adequate. Not the best pedicure I've ever received, but I will be back. My finger nails turned out great and I'm happy with the price I paid for the service. read more

I was totally dissatisfied for the price. I went for a pedicure and a set of solar nails. I should have walked out when I was looking for the color for my pedicure. A lady asked me what color I was looking for as I was reading the bottom of a bottle of polish. I told her I was looking for Pompeii Purple. She looked at what I was holding and told me what was in my hand was close enough. I told the guy I wanted oval nails. They are all different lengths and closer to square. Now I have to file them to the shape I wanted. I got my nails done in Houston for 20 years and only paid $20 for a pedicure and $30 for a set of solar nails. This place charged $27 for the pedicure and $40 for the nails. I will not be going back. read more

I went here once. I mostly go to enjoy a good foot massage, plus pretty toes are a must in the summer. It was relaxing and all but if you can't give a good foot massage then what good is a pedi? I know this is a long review, but when you walkout of nails spa you should still feel like you paid for a great service. First time here and if it wasn't for LyLy I probably wouldn't come back. I asked for a classic pedi. When the first tech came over I asked for an extra 10 mins on the massage she said, "oh I can't do your pedi then". I thought ok she must have another client coming in. So she asked another tech and she just looked disgusted that I wanted extra time. And said NO!! Maybe she didn't think I was watching her facial expression but I was... Then she asked LyLy if she would do my pedi and told LyLy she wants extra massage time and she said ok. And she said again she wants extra massage time. LyLy said yes again. I thought it was strange that they felt they were better than that to do extra massage time. After all I'm paying a $1.00 a min for it. But ok I work at Starbucks so I'm on my feet all day long and when I get a pedi the massage is what I look forward to the most. LyLy was the best I asked for more pressure on the massage you know the it hurts so good kind. And she totally delivered on it. When I went to pay I laid cash on the counter and said but, I want to use what's left on this gift card it's a credit card/gift card before I could find out what was on the card she took my cash and walked away. I said wait... I want to use this first it only has a few dollars on it. I wanted to leave a bigger tip since LyLy was so nice. Well let me tell you they were even more rude about the card then the extra ten mins. The Lady that finally rung me up pretty much told me I was stealing the $3.00 that was on that card cause it's going to cost her more than that to run the. Transaction. I moved to the Prosper area and went in for NextGen nails. When I got there I asked for Nextgen nails and was assigned to Steve. He and his wife are owners. I was excited because he did a great job on my nails. So I started to call in ahead to make my appointment with Steve. I made my usual appoint, got there on time and Steve was busy with another client. So I decided to have my feet done, while I wait. I don't know if he and his wife were fighting, but she came over to me and started working on my nails, she look angry and hostile. She took the drill and went way into my nail and I screamed. She hurt one of my nails with her drill. Steve came over and chased her off. I allow him to do my nails that last day. But that will be the last time I go there. I was disturbed with the ager in his wifes eye's when she attempted to do my nails. I felt like I was in the middle of a fight between them. So ladies please be careful. read more

Decided to try this place to get my eye brows waxed today. I would not recommend this place at all. As soon as I came, I was greeted by a man who told me to please take a seat. The lady who came over to me was acting really rushed and like I was wasting her time. She told me "go to that room" in a rush (there were 3 rooms) so I had to ask which room. Without stopping or looking my direction she said "that room". Again, confused I had to ask a second time. She didn't change the paper sheet on the pillow you put your head on (it was crumpled and oily). Had to do that myself. I told her to please not make my eye brows thin, just clean it up. Before I could finish my sentence, with an attitude she said "I know". She rushed through my eye brows (literally 30 seconds) and asked me to look in the mirror to check if it's ok. No trimming, just wax. I pointed out a spot she missed, and she said "well it's only a few hairs". Ok? So fix it?? She quickly does that spot and says ok your done. I said can you put some gel on? She looked annoyed and put a little on and said I don't do that because it causes rashes. First time I ever heard that. After I pay, I go to my car and look in the mirror because I was so rushed, I notice more spots where she missed and chunks of wax still on my face! Terrible service, terrible attitude.
