I was running low on fuel, so I used my Waze app find a gas station. The app said there was a Shell station nearby with unleaded fuel starting at $3.89. I had points on my Ralphs card, only for the life of me I did not remember seeing a Shell on Chapman. The GPS led me down Raymond toward Chapman, and told me to turn left toward Fullerton College. Just as I was about to turn left, I spotted the Shell station on the corner. It used to be a Propel fuel station. In fact, it sort of still is. Half of the gas station was a Propel, the other half a Shell station, and they accepted Ralphs rewards! This may be my new go to station if the prices remain competitive. read more

Hmm, let's see: Prices like Arco's - check. E85 & BioFuel in addition to the usual stuff - check. Free $5 Gas card in the mail just for living in the area - check. Pleasant service - check. Hard to find fault with this fuel station, except to say that they're going to need more pumps! I like the fact that you can also give a $1 to offset your carbon footprint if you're still using fossil fuel. Super clean, very friendly service right on the Southwest corner of Raymond & Chapman. Very much recommend if you're tired of everyone else's price gouging :) read more

Always open. Clean. And has E85!!! Currently blending E85 with 91 octane to make E20 allowing me to use more aggressive engine mapping. Car loves it and runs great. Propel has so many fuel choices. There is certainly a market for 100 octane if they could add a blend. Ideally their available gasoline mixes would be 87, 91, 100. I think you would be surprised how many people in STIs, EVOs, etc would be willing to buy race gas. read more

I will never get gas at this station again. An employee named Julia who was behind the counter on a Sunday morning was rude to me when I asked to use the rest room to wash my hands. She said it was closed. When I asked if I could wash my hands at the basin used by the employees, she said, "Go ahead, I don't want to hear you crying." I wasn't crying but I was angry when she said that to me. I asked for her name, which she gave me, and told me I could talk to my manager. As I walked to my car, she proceeded to follow and yell after me, "You know, you don't need to be rude" and tried to continue the conversation in a confrontational manner. E85 and Bio-diesel on one side, Shell on the other. It just shows that whoever owns this station gave it some good thinking and planning before opening it in order to max all kind of customer who would come to this station. read more

Gas Buddy did not show this station with Propel Fuels. Shell station dose not mention Propel fuels either. Shell fuel cost less then Propel fuel. Weird how they are trying to integrate their product into these stations. Think I'll stick with Gas Buddy to buy my fuel. read more

I came across this gas station when I was in Fullerton and I wasn't really sure what it was all about. It ended up being pretty interesting. Price of gas was pretty good, very eco-friendly, and caters to special fuel and even biking commuters. read more

Im a big fan of alternative fuel and always fill up my $400/month in fuel at this location for my tahoe. I pay cash each time. Generally the clerks are friendly; "hello how are you, have a good day etc" type of service... For some reason tonight at 8pm, i come in and the new guy is outside cleaning pumps while im all alone in the store waiting to pay... He finally comes inside gives me a knod like "watsup" and proceeds to take my money at the register without saying a single damn word. No thank you goodbye hello etc. impressive. Id get a new nightshift clerk who speaks and smiles. Otherwise ill still fill up the cheapest gas in town here. read more

So I am sooooo fortunate that this gas station is like .2 miles from my house. This place is amazing. When they were first building it I was like wow another expensive gas station (I figured it had to be because of how nice and modern it is). But to my surprise not only does this place have cleaner fuel its comparable to Arco prices (a wee bit cheaper, yayy)!! I love this gas station!! Lets hope I get a $5 gas card like the woman down there read more

The truck runs so smoothly, and the price is great, but that is not why we started using Propel as soon as the Redwood City station became available. (And now it is 100%! THANKS,Propel!!) We are strongly focussed on improving the environment in any way we can, especially the air quality. The Bay Area now has the sixth worst in the nation, a giant step backward from earlier years. Diesel trucks, diesel big-rigs, diesel trains, and most of all huge diesel ships in our ports are making it significantly worse. I am asthmatic, and diesel exhaust is horrible! Now I can literally stand next to the exhaust pipe and breathe deeply with no effect! Every diesel owner should switch from dinosaurs to pond scum! (You do know that Rupert Diesel created the engine so it ran on vegetable oil? Somehow after he went overboard, the auto companies converted it to diesel gas--and it never ran as well.) read more
