This was my first time in Colorado and this was my favorite experience out of the entire trip! It's such a beautiful way to see the Rocky Mountains. Everyone who works there is knowledgeable and will make you feel at ease throughout the ride. I did the three hour and I highly recommend it but be aware your legs and booty will be hurting for a couple of days haha!! Still worth it! She has 3 horses so this is an extremely personal / intimate experience. The minimum ride is 3 hours, we chose a 4 hour ride and brought a lunch. She helps you from start to finish if you're an inexperienced rider, if you're experienced you'll also thoroughly enjoy the ride. You assist her with grooming, saddling, cooling the horses after the ride, everything. This is an option that I highly encourage as it allows you time to bond with your horse. The horses (Duke, Missy "Baby Horse") are VERY well cared for, loved, and are so responsive to Sydney. Whether you are an experienced or inexperienced rider you will love this ride. You will ALWAYS feel safe, especially since there's just 3 of you. I highly recommend Alpine Stables and Sydney for your Rocky Mountain ride. The views are spectacular!
