Each horse has a custom diet to ensure maximum performance for their life style. The barn hosts vaccine and deworming clinics too. This is extremely unsafe for the horse for many reasons and is a risk that most horse owners would never take. Not only could this poor horse overheat very easily in the heat with a full western saddle on, but the saddle could get hooked or snag on parts of the trailer (the pony was moving around in the trailer and could reach the sides) and get seriously injured. I was behind them for at least twenty minutes and they were still going when I exited. I would not want to give money to a company that treats its horses this way.

He moved my horses to a shared stall and run and one of my horses could not get in the stall because my other horse prevented her from coming in. Still payed the $600.00 for each horse when one had NO shelter in the winter. I expressed my concern, no offer to help or remedy the situation. The worse part is he does not maintain the road to the stable. I could barely get up the road with my 4wd truck. Huge deep ruts of snow and mud. Forget about getting a trailer in. It was impossible. Had to park on highway 73 and lead the horses down and back out onto the busy highway to get the heck out of there and keep my horses safe. Very bad situation and no help from the owner. Oh, and there are no 'green meadows' for the horses. What a nightmare.

Kristin also runs her own business at blue cloud and it is called blue star farms. she is amazing at training teens and adults. She can train anything you put at her. The lower bar is all fixe d up and has a cozy indoor.the stalls in the upper barn are amazing, and the out door arena is spacious and roomy. The jumpers are painted bright and have cool patterns on the side. All though there are different businesses, every one works as a team and are great friends. Nobody is separated or into groups. Everyone gets along and not that many people are competitive. You do have to pay for turnout, which does make boarding pricy, but it sure is worth it! Blue cloud farms is pet friendly and they have a barn cat.

Rosie has lived at Iron Gait for a few years now and is well adjusted and appears to be well cared for. We met Nick, the owner, years when he was first starting some major improvements to the ranch. He has done a really nice job of updating and upgrading the facilities. Nick and Shawna seem to be doing a good job of running the ranch and caring for 50 plus horses.
