They charged me $685 to replace a wiring connector on the camshaft position sensor. I would hate…read moreto think what they would have charged if it were something more involved. Edit: Phil called in response to my review. See the attached invoice. I had already replaced the camshaft position sensor (a ten minute job), which was new. This did not resolve the code, which indicated the connection was intermittent. I had tested the connector with a multimeter, which indicated there was a bad connection at the connector. This was communicated to the service manager when I dropped off the vehicle. The technician stated that there was a broken tab on the camshaft position sensor, and they replaced the brand new part I had just installed. See the attached photo. That the tab could be broken without being filed off is highly suspect. It's a durable part. That the relatively fragile connector was damaged is more credible. In my opinion, as stated to the service manager, it was obviously the part that needed to be replaced. They replaced the connector, which again, I had communicated was the likely issue. They claim to have paid $110 for this part that I can purchase at Napa for $26. So in summary, I paid $685 to have them swap out a $26 connector. I can only conclude they're either dishonest or incompetent. Edit 2: Well Phil, now you're just outright lying. You did not show me the new camshaft position sensor you removed and replaced. Your technician did not perform any diagnostics, and ignored the diagnostic information I provided to you in advance. He just started swapping parts, AND overcharging for the time spent. Even if the sensor needed to be replaced, a $40 part that takes ten minutes to install, to charge me $685 is absurd.

Reply: oil change that's all. 30 min later I was being upsold air and fuel filter. I declined. I knew something was up and checked the oil level before we left the front driveway. It was WAY over filled! I stated that it was overfilled and asked how much they pit into it? They said 16qts. I stated it only holds 13 with the filter. I just left and drained off 3qts at the local autozone parking lot. I always maintain my vehicles at home and had been on along road trip during July and couldn't avoid a on vacation service. Fast forward to January 2025. I put my truck on my lift to service the truck. Guess what I found??? My hand Writing on the oil filter dated 1/2024 with the milage. I was and still am pissed!!! I went to the appointment this morning & the guy checking me in told me that it would be $245 for the oil change. I'm not sure what there labor rate is but I've never heard of a $245 oil change. On my way home I stopped at the Marathon gas station next to Ford & they did the oil change in under 10 minutes for $99. They were super nice & did a great job.
