After our check engine light came on, we called and spoke with Cameron. I explained what had happened, and he let me know that unfortunately they were getting ready to be closed for the next couple of days and likely wouldn't be able to service our car until early the following week. Even with that, he suggested we still stop by if we could. He said he could at least scan the car, see what was going on, and hopefully give us some direction. About 15 minutes later, we showed up and Cameron scanned the car for us. He confirmed that we were dealing with a cylinder 1 misfire (P0301), wrote down the code for us, and gave us some advice on how to diagnose the issue, figure out what was causing it, and hopefully get ourselves back on the road. What stood out to me was that he was genuinely willing to help even though he knew he probably wasn't going to get the business. He was getting ready to close within the next 30-40 minutes, but still took the time to talk with us and point us in the right direction. We ultimately had to handle the repair ourselves, but Cameron's willingness to help when he didn't have to was absolutely worth mentioning. Sometimes it's the small interactions that make you remember a business, and this was definitely one of them. Thanks, Cameron, for taking the time to help us out!

My truck started making a strange noise in the engine on a longer road trip back to Durango. I called every dealership and two mechanics in town, all of which were weeks to months out from being able to look at it. One last shot and I called this crew. "Sure, drop it off in two days and we'll keep it for the day". Arrived two days later, the head mechanic jumped in with me and listened to the noise. It was faint but he heard it. Good thing for me because it saved me from making weird noises in front of experienced people! Got the truck back two days later after having been told exactly what's wrong, what will later on fail, and how much it will cost to fix it. Agreed on price and picked up the truck. Everything runs well and I paid exactly what we agreed on. These guys are legit and I will always have them work on our vehicles from here on out.

(meanwhile I stopped by a muffler and brake shop and was told they could get me in NEXT Monday). When I returned, CJ got my van in as promised, diagnosed the issue, ordered the parts and had me out the door shortly after 5:30 and the price was entirely reasonable. I worked from the waiting room via their free wifi and over the course of the day overheard the way CJ treated his customers... always with respect and honesty. I heard him say, "You don't owe me anything for checking it out, just bring it back when it has something that needs to be fixed." That is how you build a great customer base. Honest work at decent prices.

In addition, I wanted the serpentine and ac belts changed. I'm doing all this because I don't want to pay double labor and thought it best to get it all done at once. Since I'd already done my homework, I'd assumed that there wasn't any wiggle room for them not to warranty the cooling system after complete. At this, the guy got upset and told me to leave. After leaving, I spoke to a friend who told me their 'service' sucks - so I write this to let you know I'd had a terrible experience and would not recommend. I don't care how good their mechanics might be. If the guy up front is not the owner, he should be fired.

After traveling through New Mexico for a few weeks we had a check engine light come on which ended up being a code that needed to be addressed immediately. We called a number of shops to try to see if anyone could squeeze us in. Not only are most shops not able to work on Sprinters, the ones that can couldn't take us for a few weeks. After a recommendation from a friend we called Animas and they were able to take us in that day. As soon as we met the guys at the shop we knew we were in the right place for a big job. They even let us see the van while she was in surgery. After this repair we've hit a few more bumps and Dana is always available to help us. He is so knowledgeable and helpful in assisting us find reputable shops along our path. We're now in Washington State and he's still helping us problem solve issues. As Dana says, once a customer you're always a customer and we couldn't appreciate him more.

After coming back from the Silverton train ride around 230pm on a Friday, I tried to start my car and it just wouldn't give. After calling around all the local shops, everyone basically told me nothing is open on weekends and they were booked till earliest mid week of the following week. When I called Durango Car Care, I told them my situation and they told me they'd try and look at it if I got there before they close but no guarantees they would be able to fix it on time. AAA came around 4pm and got me to the shop around 430pm. The guys stopped what they were working on and tried to troubleshoot my car. After about 15 minutes, they got it working again!!! They didn't have to do any of that! This literally brought my faith back in humanity! The kindest guys and angels to me that day!! I am so so thankful to them and my AAA guy Daylon. Piper and Roland at the front desk were very polite nice and extremely knowledgeable on the repair for my truck. Service technician Baren worked hard to swap out multiple tires to get the configuration of the six tires correct and did a fabulous job. As I waited for the repair to complete I watched other customers come in I was impressed by Roland and Piper and the way they addressed and treated the customers. This is a great Firestone because you have great technicians and front desk managers. I was out the door in a very timely manner as well. TY
