Really professional work starting with Josh. Josh reviewed my old system inside and out. Timing made it look like Josh may have flipped something, but he came back within an hour and showed me where the previous estimate had done this. That showed me that Zeh would stand behind their work, even making sure that Josh did not cause the problem. I dealt with Jen in the office and she was always really helpful getting questions to Josh as the job was getting closer. Josh would get back within hours with an answer and Jen would relay. Josh is definitely technical and knows hvac systems. Brandon may have finalized the design but I was given 3 options, the best for this small place was the one chosen. I had 4 good companies come and give me estimates. I thought Zeh was competitive and they are local, which was high on priorities for this job. Great, professional local company. They completed the job over two days of steady, hard work. Brandon came by on day one and had one guy with him I think. Those guys did an amazing amount of work on day one. Brandon showed up on day 2 and told me another crew would be finishing up the next day. I wish I had the names of the guys on day 2, again, professional, hard working, detail oriented. The system is very quiet, well done install. My heating bills may have gone up slightly, my cooling bills are cut in half with the gold system. All 4 companies that came to do estimates were good. Zeh will not show up in matching coveralls with a logo, but they will show up ready to work and do a great job. They did it for me. It has been about 10 months since the system was installed. NO issues at all, until I decided to replace the 6 month filter. Newer, high efficiency systems, or at least my system requires a 4 inch, pleated filter replaced every 6 months. You are going to pay up to 80 bucks a filter, but twice a year if you are following guidelines. I like my hvac so I will be replacing it 2x a year. Final reason why you should use Zeh. I climbed under my house a few weeks ago to replace my filter myself. I ordered a new filter that Zeh gave me the name and number for my install so I ordered one to save a few bucks. I crawled up under the house but I removed the wrong panel to replace the filter. I thought Zeh had forgotten to install a filter. I did call back after watching a youtube video and said I think I am just stupid. They said we are still coming and will take a look. Gene came by and took my filter, quickly replaced it and showed me how it works. So, quality work, competitive price, local business, excellent people, excellent service. Get your estimates, but definitely try Zeh. I give Zeh 5 stars.

I called and An appointment was scheduled, promptly, for the next day. Our service technician was Leo, who was very courteous and knowledgeable. He performed a diagnostic check on the unit and after a short period of time, had it performing perfectly again. He took photos to show the problem to be a loose connection, most likely from the manufacturer. The upstairs is now cool again. I really appreciated Leo's kindness and explanation of the problem! I am grateful for his expertise and will recommend Robertson's and Leo to anyone needing expert service for their heating and A/C needs!

Tonight's temperature was minus 5 degrees. Jimmy North and his Team at AirFlow Systems in Charlottesville, VA installed an entire new system in my home in February 2017. Not only has my electric bill dropped by almost half, the comfort of our home is unbelievably consistent year round. He had NO PRESSURE sales and does NOT RIP you off or over charge. His prices for the EXACT same system was several thousand dollars less expensive than TWO other competitors in the area. Once completed there were no up sale tactics. I love my new Trane AC/Heat Pump, Trane LP Gas furnace system. It barely runs and keeps the home toasty. Thank you Air Flow Systems for getting it right. Also, prior to this new Trane system, AirFlow Systems has been regularly maintaining my old system. When it needed parts he did not mark them up. When I asked why Jimmy said he didn't believe. I doubled checked the relay they replaced one time and a capacitor another time and I could NOT find it anywhere on the Internet cheaper for the EXACT same parts. An OVERTIME visit was QUICK and $25 more than their normal hourly rate. They were great to work with and we never had reason to suspect their business practices in the past. Something has changed, though, and now we wonder how a small equipment replacement could possibly come in over 200% higher than the cost for the same installation seven years ago. We understand inflation has increased cost as well as supply chain issues, and we support and hope employees are receiving competitive wages, however, inflation over the course of the past 7 years amounts to about 31% , not 200%. The bill we received was priced as one lump sum and when we requested an itemized breakdown of labor and material, we were told the bill was itemized. This review is not about the quality of Airflow's work, which remains high, but rather their business practices. To avoid misunderstandings, even if you've worked with them for many years, it's best to request a full and complete estimate of their services before they begin work.
