I needed a cargo trailer, and started looking at reviews of different companies online mostly being sold by trailer dealerships. Although many of these dealers had pretty good reviews, I found out the the different trailer companies they were using DID NOT. Many reviews were saying that the quality has gone down so much after covid (presumably because the demand for cargo trailers had skyrocketed and the companies decided to cut corners?) Thats when I found ProLine trailer in New Hampshire. They actually don't deal with dealerships at all and will custom make whatever you'd like. I went ahead with this company because of the absolute excellent reviews. Aaron and Devin were super friendly and answered all of my questions. If you want a quality trailer that will last and was built only using the best (like the spring assist hinge used for the ramp door to make it so light!), then go with Proline. From the first time I talked with Ryan and explained him what I am looking for and for him to take his time to explain the different options, accessories and what make sense and what not. I did very extensive research on manufactures, builds, materials, etc. ProLine was on the top of the list for all I was looking for. The owner of the RV shop I purchased my trailer from gave me the recommendation to have a trailer built here. I wanted the trailer to be able to fit both my ATV and Motorcycle and I did not want to have to play the shuffle game to pull them out. They designed me a trailer with a side ramp that allows me to pull the quad in sideways and back my bike down the ramp! Brilliant! Unbelievable service! Unbelievable trailer! Aaron and the staff there were awesome to deal with. Very knowledgeable and pleasant. Every inch of my trailer is of the highest quality. I was looking for a simple utility trailer and what they delivered is completely overbuilt. From the Dexter axles, all LED lighting, to the fact that the only exposed wiring on the trailer is the lead to plug into the truck. About 3 weeks ago I began a search for a 5x8 enclosed aluminum cargo trailer. I spent hours on the internet researching various brands, including various blogs of professionals who rely on trailers. It was soon apparent that there are a number of poorly constructed trailers with a variety of problems (poor welds, leaks, screws backing out, frames bending despite not exceeding GVW.) Early on I learned that Proline Trailers, Virginia, had a number of complaints so I disregarded Proline. Then I learned that ProLine Products, Milton, NH was a completely different company that manufactured and sold their trailers in Milton, NH, about 35 miles from where I live. ProLine Products has an excellent reputation for quality and customer service so I drove to their office and checked out a 5x8 enclosed aluminum cargo trailer. It had the options I needed so I purchased it. I noticed that pulling the empty trailer (780 pounds) reduced my fuel mileage from 21 to 19.5 mpg. The trailer pulled quietly (absolutely no noise). The trailer has 15" radial ply tires and has a GVW of 2200 lbs. perfect for my purposes. I've had a chance to go over it very carefully and it is a quality product (welds, doors, weather proofing, and LED lights - both exterior and interior.)
