Purchasing an RV is one of the biggest decisions and expenses that a person can make. Big Moose RV…read moreand Marine in Ossipee, NH came to our rescue and offered the best customer service experience we could have hoped for! The family-owned and operated dealership specializes in motorhomes and trailers, as well as a variety of pontoon boats. No Pressure Sales We walked into the Big Moose RV lot on NH Route 16 Memorial Day weekend, not expecting to find our future home. Owner, Big Mike, is a very easy-going guy, and we never felt like he was selling us on anything. He met us on his golf cart, asked a few questions about our RV experience (or lack thereof) and showed us what he referred to as "the bee's knees" of RVs: a 1999 Newmar Dutch Star. Big Mike gave us a brief tour of the rig and then said he'd be back in about 20 minutes to see if we had any more questions. There was no pressure. No sales pitch. No "special price for today only." It was refreshing to sit there and check-out everything without someone watching our every move, waiting to see if we'll bite or not. It made the decision to purchase really easy because we could talk about it without a salesman breathing down our necks. Peace of Mind Guaranteed Not only was there no pressure to buy at Big Moose RV, but they also stand behind everything they sell. They guarantee that all appliances and systems are working before we pick-it up, as well as taking it to the state inspection garage to verify that the chassis is in working order. If anything comes up, they will fix it before delivery. And, as you'd expect with a 20 year old RV, things came up. Big Mike and his son, "Young Mike," went through the Dutch Star with a fine-tooth comb: AC unit not blowing? Replaced. Cracked rubber on one of the tires? 6 new tires (not just one). Exterior damage to one of the storage bays? Fixed. All this before we even paid in full! The team at Big Moose RV went out of their way to make sure that we had the best customer service experience, and it didn't end when we pulled-off the lot with our new-to-us rig. Continuous Support When you make a purchase at Big Moose RV, the excellent customer service doesn't end when you pull off the lot with your new rig. Once we arrived home, we immediately ran into issues with the hydraulic leveling jacks (wouldn't retract fully), the emergency brake (wouldn't release), and the water pump (leaking). One call to Young Mike and he told us he'd be out to take a look. If he couldn't fix it, he'd have it towed to the garage - no cost to us! The team at Big Moose pride themselves on making sure that everything is in working order - and they go above and beyond with the best customer service you'd ever expect! The experience of buying our first RV - and our first home - was made incredibly easy with the team at Big Moose RV. Not only will we continue to be a customer for life, but we will hands down be one of their biggest cheerleaders and recommend them to everyone we meet. Big Mike and his family make sure that each and every customer they meet has the best customer service experience. You'll be well taken care of whether your a veteran RVer or a newbie like us!
