While I was out of town, I was able to go their Facebook page & see photos of her enjoying her doggie summer camp. She seemed to love the little pool. It meant so much to see photos of her while I was away. They posted photos about every other day. This morning i went to pick her up. They kindly brought her out to my car. She had just been bathed (at no charge) & was still a little damp. It was so nice to pick her up fresh & clean. Amanda is a very caring person & I feel safe knowing she is there watching out for Sophie. I have been very happy with the services they provide & the staff.

They refused to keep them- so my spouse had to fly back from California (and miss his child's college graduation) to get our dogs! We had to emergently cancel a reservation and we're informed we would be "generously" charged 50% of the total fee because we cancelled within 14 days of a holiday (Easter). The cancellation policy on their web page states the high season is between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and cancellation within 14 days will result in a 50% charge of the total boarding fee. All other holidays, including Easter, are subject to keeping the deposit, which could be used for future services. I think this is a fair cancellation policy, but I was not offered this option. When I challenged the manager on violating their own policy, I was offered was 25% of the total boarding fee, which amounts to $190, not the deposit we paid, which was $0. I am very disappointed in their deceptive business practices and violating their own policy. I will dispute the credit card charge and fight to get every dollar back. Also, I caution anyone who is considering Green Beagle Lodge to carefully reconsider and find another, more reputable place to board your pet.

I boarded my dog October 16 - 19 2025, and I had boarded her once before for a week without any…read moreissues. However, this time the staff did not give her any of her two medications. One medication is required daily and was provided in an unopened box and the box was returned to me unopened - I didn't notice this until I got home. The other medication was as needed for anxiety and no pills were taken so i don't know if they were monitoring her anxiety properly - I doubt it While fortunately my dog was ok, another animal could have been killed if they miss their medication. I paid Green Beagle Lodge $65 dollars a night to take care of my dog's basic needs and they failed at this simple task. I did talk to a manager, she seemed sympathetic and did confirm both of the medications were logged in the system. She said she they were going to perform an "investigation" and call me back the next day, but they never did.

We just finished a four-week board and train with Carson at The Dog Knowledge. Worth every penny!…read more Not going to lie - the first couple weeks were rough on us, not him. We missed him like crazy and worried about how he was feeling. Dennis actually had us come in halfway through, showed us what Carson had been learning, and said something that I keep thinking about: Carson wasn't missing us. Not because he doesn't love us, but because dogs live in the now. He was busy, focused, doing his thing. We felt so much better after that. Carson came home happy and calm and confident. He understood the rules and felt good about it. And he wasn't (as our son put it) a "bot" now - he was the same sweet and goofy pup but now, he could follow instructions and maintain self control when we needed him to. The staff were also straight with us about the fact that he'd have setbacks. That's normal. They spent a lot of time explaining what you do when it happens. In fact, they spent almost an entire day with all the families at graduation - going over what the dogs learned, getting you hands on practicing how to do it, answering questions, and really teaching a ton of helpful information. We're about to set up our in-home training visit, which will be for all of us, including our three kids - really great to get everyone aligned with Carson's training. The Dog Knowledge is fantastic! We are members now and plan to board our dog with them whenever we go on vacation. I cannot imagine trusting any place like we trust them.
