We visited this location in celebration of our birthday. Prohibition cafe offers very yummy infused cocktails, desserts and more! My guest and I we're able to customize our slushy to our liking! Although the product we requested was unavailable regarding vapes & flower, our experience was quick & friendly. The young lady working made some alternative suggestions. It's a fun atmosphere with music, cards games and art along the walls. I'd highly recommend and can't wait to visit Chicago again!

Stopped by Prohibition THC Cafe on a random Tuesday and had a pretty chill experience. I grabbed a cappuccino to kick things off and later snagged a 100 mg brownie. The barista with the purple locs was super friendly and hooked me up with the lowdown on the infused drinks; vibes felt real community‑driven, plus the lounge area's decked out with local art. My cappuccino was on point--strong enough to wake me, but mellowed out by the brownie's buzz. Only reason I went 4 stars is the place was a bit crowded for me and the seats could be cozier. Still, solid spot in the South Loop, great service, and a cool alternative to your usual coffee shop.

The young lady purple locs, loved her, she taught me a lot of what I wanted. Friendly atmosphere I'm from wisconsin visiting family and they recommended it. So glad they did. I will visit again and again.

What a cool little spot. We ended up here actually due to booking a luggage hold through Bounce. When we arrived, we were pleased to find it was a THC Cafe. The owner introduced themselves to us and showed us around the facility. We ended up getting a medicated slushy, a medicated latte & a 2 gram preroll. Definitely a great way to end our trip and I highly recommend this place.

I was skeptical at first because it is a local chain, rather than a singular location. However, it lived up to the hype. Service: it was extremely busy when we came in. The line was almost out the door. They have a system in place for ordering and seating so it worked well and fast given how busy they were. We didn't have any questions on where to order or where to stand when waiting for a seat. The staff were friendly and helped us find a spot to sit at. Ambiance: classic cafe in a city. Loud chatter, but it's a vibe. Very colorful and fun interior with cool textural elements. We had a seat that was facing the street so it was fun to people watch as we sipped and ate. Food: amazing breakfast selection! We ordered the morning sandwich and barbacoa bowl. The morning sandwich had THICK scrambled eggs which were super soft and tasty. I could've used more salsa verde on it. The bread was barely toasted. I'd rate the sandwich a 3.8/5. It got the job done. The barbacoa bowl was "really good" according to my fiancé. A great source of protein, fresh ingredients, nice flavor, and great portions. He would rate it a 5/5. Coffee: I am a coffee snob so I am quite harsh when it comes to reviewing it. Their machine is a cute La Marzocco. Appropriate sized "for-here" glasses according to the drinks. Plus, they were really cute. Wide variety of drink selection from your standards to the more girly-drinks (if there is such a thing). We ordered a cappuccino and small hot mocha. Latte art 4.5/5, temperature 5/5, flavor 4/5. The espresso didn't stand out to me, very standard flavor profile. However, the chocolate in the mocha was delicious. It's more of a rich, dark chocolate. Nice thin layer of foam.
