I remember her buying it with such pride and then taking it to get framed- it was the first time I realized people valued art in that way. She kept it all these years, and just three years ago it came to me. Recently I brought it to The Custom Framer in Highland Park to be re-matted and reframed. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable asking questions, even with my lack of design knowledge. The process was thoughtful, supportive, and deeply meaningful. This isn't just about framing art--it's about framing memories. I'll treasure this piece in my home and someday pass it to my kids. Highly recommend.

I usually don't have so many framing needs, but in the past month have brought them 4 paintings to frame thanks to a kitchen remodel followed by a basement flood. Each time I've visited I've been the only person there and they've been super helpful in choosing a frame that works with my budget and color scheme. It takes about 2 weeks for them to frame something so I was a little worried when I didn't hear from them for a month after dropping off the first painting. I called and they mentioned they had a typo in my phone # and had trying to be in touch. The framing is beautiful and I think fairly priced. Between their helpfulness and the convenience of being a few minute drive from my house I can't imagine going elsewhere for my framing needs.

Communication was inconsistent and unclear. I answered their questions, provided photos, and explained the issue in detail. Despite this, I was told that "nothing is wrong" based solely on photos, without any diagnostic explanation or guidance on how to fix the problem. When I asked directly whether this was an issue they could repair or what the likely cause might be, I stopped receiving responses altogether. No clear explanation, repair option, or referral was provided. I was looking for professional diagnosis or a clear yes/no on service. Unfortunately, the communication and follow-through were lacking, which made it difficult to trust moving forward.
