I saw this salon when I googled "cutting curly hair," and made an appointment with Michelle. It was the ray of hope I needed. Michelle listened and clearly understood my predicament. She was empathic and asked me questions, and then explained the step-by-step process she'd take to make me feel like I looked normal again. What I received was not only a fantastic cut but a clear and complete tutorial on how to get my hair looking it's best. She showed me each product, the amount used, the goal of each step, and how to get the look on my own. Totally doable. I felt like a celebrity!! I cried. I left the salon looking and feeling better than I had in weeks! The stress of hair loss takes a real toll. Ochoa quoted me a full highlight to start at $124 and go up from there and said it would definitely be more because of my long hair, well the Finishing Touch starts at $75 for a full highlight and charged me $78 when it was all said and done even with my long hair. I love the color I got done at the Finishing Touch and it's the only salon I will go to from now on, not to mention their great prices! I'm in love with this place and will be returning as much as possible. They do everything there too, hair, nails, tan, waxing, ear candling, manicure pedicure, massage, you name it they do it, a true salon and spa!

This is a mistake that I have never made before; I missed my appointment. The second I realized, I called and apologized profusely and explained what happened. It was completely unintentional and I felt terribly. it was the end of an absolutely crazy week and my brain was scrambled. The woman I spoke to was nice about it and rescheduled me. What she failed to tell me is that they were going to charge my card for $165. The next week when I saw the charge on my account, I called them and left a message. Three days later, I called again and left another message. Three days later, again. I wanted to make sure that charge was for my upcoming appointment, since no one had expressed to me that I was going to be charged a cancellation fee. Mind you, I would understand 50 or even $75 but to charge the full amount of the appointment is extreme to me I felt really bad that I messed up, but it's unacceptable to just charge your card when you could easily enough notify the person that you were going to do so. They didn't get back to me for two weeks. When she did finally get back to me, she said that this was the cancellation policy and insisted that I had that information before hand. I explained that I was not going to be able to afford another appointment due to this charge. She said this was coming from the owner and that was that. Look, I know I wasted the time of the stylist, and I feel really bad for that. But this is the first time in my life this happened and it was not intentional. Their lack of communication and lack of compassion is why I won't be ever patronizing this business. They could've had long-term business from me had they done a good job, but instead, they chose to take my cancellation fee and run. Not so smart if you ask me.
