I recently had some problems with the rear differential of my 2017 Ford Edge. I highly recommend Hal's to anyone that owns and operates an automobile

I've been using Hal's for 19 years intermittently but the latest experience in early September 26…read morefor debris in the hvac blower of my 2017 Silverado truck has ended that. They charged $138 diagnosis which amounted to turning on the fan, without applying that to the $1000 bill. Additionally, they said it would be best to replace the original blower and for only $40 above the cost of the cheap motor they would install a Delco brand. When I picked the truck up the blower was only putting out half of the force it should. Neither Jim or the mechanic had a solution. Once I got home I pulled the motor and found that it was not a Delco but a generic and there was still some debris in the system. Lori emailed me the invoice and I also found a $46 charge for an engine air filter which was never discussed nor relevant to what I contracted to have done. I sent this information to Lori asking for a follow-up call and have heard nothing. Apparently, I can no longer trust the people at Hal's.

David apologized and cleared my check engine light and asked me to call back. In the meantime the check engine light came on again confirming I had a bad oxygen sensor. I had purchased my own parts and was ready for the installation. When David and I next talked he offered to come to my house pick up my car and take it back to the shop to fix the problem. David came to my house and repaired the car and brought it back. Wow what service! The price he charged me for the labor was very fair and lower than any other bids I had obtained. Despite the early appointment issue David more than made up for it with his kind offer. The car runs fine and David gave me the old parts verifying the replacement. I would definitely use this clinic again for any auto repair issues. Thank you David!!

I went to three different places who all told me they could hear the noises but when they look under it and remove my tires there was nothing wrong and they would send me away. The sound was only getting worse and my anxiety levels were going through the roof because I rely on my car for everything! The day after Thanksgiving I knew I was going to have to make a 60 mile drive but I was shaking in my boots about the noise it was making. Through the carmax repair pal website I searched for someone I could take my car to that day and several places that said they were open were actually closed! It wasn't until my 5th call that I found Fox tires and they told me to come in right away. They were nothing but kind and courteous and despite my frantic ramblings and blubbering sobs they understood me and went above and beyond to find out what was wrong and THEY FOUND IT! Three different places didn't find anything but they heard the noise, this is the only place that actually did something and at such a reasonable price. If you are reading this I would vouch for this place ten times over and if I have any future issues I will be coming back for sure, they took a great weight off my shoulders while at the same time providing service excellence to be envied by any other auto place. Special shout out to Carlos, Randy, Dalen, and John for really doing everything they can to fix my car especially the day after Thanksgiving. I do not know the name of the gentleman that recommended you to me but I am so glad he did. From the moment I walked into the shop, at first to check them out mind you, until the moment my work was completed (Had tires changed on my BMW rt1150 motorcycle) I have never had a more pleasant vehicle maintenance experience ever!!! They performed a check on my bike. Made expert recommendations without trying to get the most money out of me while I was there. Most service centers would charge for that. Even told me I did not require an oil change when asked to do one. They replaced and balanced my tires for less than the quoted price. Have you EVER heard of that anywhere. While I was there he first day for about 40 minutes and about 2 hours the second day. Customer after repeat customer came in. All where greater like family. That will carry a business far if customers feel important respected and High Voltage takes the time to respect everyone that comes through the door. I do not give many written reviews. However I am so impressed by this family owned business that I felt compelled to give notice and I will be a strong word of mouth proponent as well. So please know this is not a planted review. I strongly recommend High Voltage Cycles for all your service needs. They did me right!
