The wrong way to give it

I guess I have no luck this is my third or fourth time in here and the first time wasn't a good experience the second time they forgot to put the egg on my bagel and the third time the lady takes my order for just muffins. Tells me how much I pay and leaves me standing? A group of five people come in and she standing there by the register ignoring me and starts to take all their order? it's literally a minute to go put those two things in a bag and when I had to say something she literally just threw it in the thing Upside down not a good experience!

Maple Pecan Latte with Oatmilk

We have been going to Profile Coffee and Roasters since 2018 and unfortunately they have gone a little down hill. We always venture out here for Knoebels for the fall and always love to support local establishments. The last two times the service has been lackluster. The first time we just told ourselves, "well maybe they're having a bad day. "We will try again next year." "The same two girls working the front end never acknowledged us, they were not saying say good morning. They didn't say "sorry for the wait, we will help you soon." Nothing. It really seemed like they didn't want to be there at all. Which look, it's understandable, we all have our bad days, including myself but still. Same service as last year. My maple pecan latte was warm and not hot and my husbands was basically like if she just put milk right in with very little steam. Thankfully the espresso is good. We even heard the customer in the back say "this was supposed to be iced. He took a sip and said it was cold so it will do." It seems like they can't handle the rushed crowds in the morning. Hang in there girls, you've got this. We unfortunately won't be returning to this establishment. It's lovely one too, it's a shame.

Chai

Went for the first time today! The drive through is SO CUTE. The employee that took our order was incredibly kind. The best part is the chai and coffee we got taste great!

Profile is a great place to get coffee, probably the best in the area. The coffee tastes really good and had nice kick. The interior is nice and clean with a good amount of seating and there is plenty of reading materials. The atmosphere is relaxed and the place has a nice look. The staff is friendly and helpful. Keith likes it too..

Caramel iced coffee with macadamia nut milk

Pretty delightful. I ordered a caramel iced coffee with macadamia nut milk. It was delicious. This spot is clean and tidy. My iced coffee was delicious. It was a good start to our day when heading into Knoebles.

I love Profile Coffee Roasters. They have quality espresso drinks. I also like their alternative milk selection: macadamia nut milk is my favorite. Whenever I crave excellent tasting coffee this is where I come. They offer amazing pastries and French macarons. Recently they started to doing Sunday Brunch: I look forward to trying their avocado toast and their smoothies. The well-lit space is cozy with seating both downstairs and upstairs. The staff is sweet. I'll drive out of my way just to get a coffee here. I've also had the strawberry basil Kombucha they sell in their cooler: so good!

This coffee shop is exactly what our town of Elysburg needed! I have been hooked since my first latte there a few months after they opened and I have been a regular since, introducing friends to this great business as well. Yesterday I stopped before heading out on a drive south to enjoy a hazelnut latte made with local whole milk and a perfectly toasted new york bagel with lemon dill cream cheese and it was all so very delicious and satisfying. They also have savory treats, sandwich specials, and great french macarones of which the pistachio is my favorite. You also have to check out their other business right up the road between Elysburg and Danville called the Cherokee Tap Room. Wow is all I will say!

Scone used with organic ingredients from their pastry chef!

That sounds a bit…read morenastier than it should, but there isn't much around here at this intersection competition wise when it comes to gas. They do have some competition when it comes to food with a few fast food establishments nearby. With it being the only gas station it was congested and hard to maneuver in the lot. Actually it was equally hard to maneuver inside as well with the congestion. I did make sure that I was able to use the facilities and refuel myself for my drive back to the hotel. I got my usual iced tea and grabbed a snack or two. What took the longest here was the checkout line. It was long and slow moving. Probably because it is the easiest place to stop to pick up a last minute item, grab a bite to eat, use the ATM, etc. next to the amusement park. I am glad I was able to get here, but it was anything but a quick stop.

We even tried offering our phone again, thinking maybe one scan didn't go through, but she just rolled her eyes at us and refused. She kept arguing with us and wouldn't do anything to help. After finally scanning our phone again, it went through, and she just said, "Now, go enjoy those free drinks..." Her attitude was so unprofessional and rude, especially on a holiday. I've heard similar complaints from four other people who had bad experiences with this older lady too at the front counter as well.

Our waitress not so much, I'm a server too and my standards are pretty low because I know what the restaurant industry is like, but they were not busy, I saw her refilling other tables coffee and ignoring us, and seemed bothered when I asked for a refill, might go back but if you don't like your job, don't do it

I really wanted to like this restaurant. Their weekend breakfast buffet is small but has a nice…read morevariety of homemade food and is served until noon. We went a few Sundays in the late spring and had a good experience. When Knoebel's opened, the experience went downhill. We drew the line when we went in on a Sunday where large groups were present, and they apparently had no clue on buffet etiquette, or just didn't care. Cleanliness and food safety are huge to me after I got horrible food poisoning at another buffet in the area and spent 4 days in the ICU with it. While the buffet area itself was clean and the food was to temperature, there were many patrons taking dirty plates back up. We notified our server who just looked at us and kind-of shrugged and walked away. My husband approached one of them and said, "Please don't keep taking dirty plates back up to the buffet.". One of them chastised him and told him he was "nuts" and that he was lying that it's not OK to do that. Plates are not at the buffet - the server brings them, and will bring two sets at the beginning, and then will replenish when needed. When we left, we informed another server that it was gross to do that and they're opening themselves up for issues if the health department stopped by, she asked why we didn't say anything. We said that we did but the server didn't seem to care. She yelled "I care!" from behind a door, but that was enough for us to opt to not return until Knoebel's was closed for the year. We suggested that they consider keeping the plates at the buffet area to discourage that. We decided to try again recently. Not only was there a large group there taking their dirty plates back up, but they were also taking dirty utensils up and using them. I was 3/4 through my plate when I saw that and refused to eat any more. My husband again said something to them, and they just pretended as if he didn't hear. We again said something to the server and suggested that they need to put signs up saying to not take dirty plates back up, or again to put plates at the buffet, but I'm fairly confident nothing will be done. There are other reviews out there that bring up questions of cleanliness, which is concerning. Unsure whether we'll try to return or not. At 10 am, much of the hot side of the buffet was empty, and not restocked while we were there, which is another strike.
