Amazing coffee place!! When they have their full menu, the food is excellent quality too!!! Update: Wow! Now they have FREE COFFEE! For anyone. Seriously. Good coffee. Roasted from Alabaster up in Williamsport. Black or cream w/ sugar. 100% free. In fact, each cup of free coffee you get, they donate some money to build wells in Africa. So awesome!! For Covid: they require mask upon entry, the tables are extremely generously spaced from each other. Each table has a sanitized (green) or a used (red) sign on it. When you sit down, you flip your card to red so the staff knows to clean it when you get up. The chairs and tables are all sanitized fully before you sit down. Everyone behind the counter is wearing masks and is gloves. They have shields in place at the order counter and the pickup area. The children's play zone is closed. It feels like they have taken every precaution! read more

If you want the best costumer service you can get.. come here. My brother and I stopped by after being on the road for a few hours and thought it was too nice looking for our "on the road" attire. We go in and we were greeted by Ryan! Ryan and coworker were the most welcoming, the most attentive, friendly, organized, very clean and strong communicating team. We left stunned on how attentive they were! Free, tasty coffee and delicious breakfast bagels were awesome! It was delicious and worth it. For both sandwiches with the free coffee we paid about $10 and the tastiness of the breakfast sandwiches was worth it. We live far.. and we're thinking of coming back just for The Well. Thank you guys for such great service, it felt so welcoming and the fact that this is my first review .. well I guess you could say it was worth it. Check this place out! You won't regret it! Stopped here on a roadtrip after looking for coffee shops close to the highway. It's located in a Church and the people were absolutely wonderful. We were planning to grab it to go but ended up sitting for a few minutes to enjoy. The cold brew was AMAZING, they said they get it locally (I can't remember the name of where from) and we got breakfast sandwiches that were also super yummy! Had to snag a s'mores chocolate chip cookie too because it just looked too good, saving it for later though. Overall, would recommend this place to anyone driving through or local! read more

Nice little spot off the beaten path. It's quite, clean, with friendly staff, and my coffee and muffin were really good. I was able to sit at a comfy table and enjoy my food. I saw two tv's. One had ESPN on it, and the other was on NBC Sports. I'm like sports, so I watched sports Center while enjoying my food. Some may be put off or hesitate because it is a church. Stopped on the way of a long drive from the Midwest to the East Coast. Essentially stumbled upon the Well Coffee House looking for lunch. Overall a very positive experience. I ordered the Breakfast burger which was very well prepared and quite tasty. My daughter ordered a 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup, which was also good but not quite great. The sandwich was a bit underwhelming but the soup was quite good. We would stop again, now that we know where it is. read more

One of my favorite places to go. It's pretty much what you'd expect for a coffee shop. It's NOT what you'd expect considering it's part of a church complex. That's not a bad thing. Also, larger than typical coffee shops, and there is a decent sized play area for younglings. There is a reasonable fee for the play area, which I believe is to cover the costs for keeping it clean and as sanitary as possible because, you know....kids. Internet available. read more

Pros: Nice space, good menu, the staff are friendly Cons: I'm going to echo what someone below said about this place's dedication to Fox News turning me off. There is a multitude of research that shows that, beyond just using biased political framing which of course a lot of news channels do, Fox News is frequently factually dubious. It's straight up propaganda. With today's heated political environment and hyper-partisanism, all I want is to be able to escape it for a while and enjoy a leisurely day out and a peaceful cup of coffee in a friendly space. Especially considering this is a church, you'd think this coffee shop would be an ideal place to do that, but no. Rampant partisanism is the the furthest thing from spritualism. It also dissuades me from wanting to attend the church service because I'm not interested in affiliating with a church that overtly aligns itself with a political party. I'm not saying you should turn on the Colbert Report, but there are plenty of family friendly TV channels--like the nature channel, or the history channel, or the hallmark channel, or sports network--that would be more inviting. read more

We were excited to see such good reviews about a unique cafe close to the interstate. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in several aspects of our visit. First, service was very slow. If you're hoping for a quick meal, this is not the place. We were the only people in the restaurant, but it took 20 minutes to make our food (personal pizza, ham sandwich, bagel & egg sandwich, and grilled cheese). The ham sandwich took 5 minutes longer than everything else, for some reason. There were two people behind the counter, so we weren't sure about the hold up. Second, the food was very basic, and not really aligned with the cost. Our $30 meal felt more like a $20 meal, I would say lower in quality than Panera. The gourmet hot chocolate, however, was very good. Our kids each had one and loved them. Finally, it is important to note that this cafe is located inside a church. The cafe plays Christian music, so those who are not Christian (or who are uncomfortable with proselytizing) may not be comfortable in this environment. I thought for a while before mentioning the religious aspect, but I think it's important for potential visitors to know. I've eaten in Jewish delis and wasn't subjected to music about Moses--in middle eastern restaurants without songs about Allah. It feels like a place built for church members to visit, but not very welcoming to those of different faiths. read more

Awesome pit stop on our road trip from New York City! Great separate (yet connected) free play space for the kids. Cheap kids meals, and plenty of sections of seating to have kids move around and not break the coffee shop atmosphere. (By kids I do mean I let my baby crawl on the floor, and my 2 & 4 year old walk around with their baby dolls. And the only people that noticed were the lady who thought they were cute, and the boy who wanted to say hello). It's connected to a church, but who cares. That just means everyone is so nice! Pour over coffee, which made this New Yorker happy! $5 minimum for credit cards. No big deal. Food. I had a panini. Really good! My kids loved the mini corn dogs. And did I mention pour over coffee? Yum! Happy to sip a locally roasted bean. It's a few short minutes off I-80, but they were very short! We will make this a road trip tradition! read more

As others have noted, this cafe is a Christian cafe- part of an entire compound of Christian places, such as a school, church, bookstore, and this rather spacious coffee shop. If you're going to feel weird about that, you might want to move on. I thought that it would be fine, I respect others' beliefs and am happy to have an opportunity to get coffee quickly in this area. The service was friendly, and the coffee was okay- that's how I arrived at a generous two-star rating- but sadly, I cannot recommend this business in good conscience until they stop showing Fox News on the TV, while masquerading as a Christian business. If you adhere to even the most basic tenets of Christianity, you would- and should- come to the realization that Fox News is the LEAST Christian channel in the history of television. Instead of spreading the Good News, you are effectively spreading fake news. And this fake news coming from Fox News has violent, hateful repercussions. WWJD? Turn off the lies and propaganda. Wow! What a gem of a place hidden away in central PA! The coffee shop is spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and offers a decent variety of drinks (hot and cold) and treats--at very reasonable prices. I was pleased to see that not only can you sub in soymilk for any of your beverages, but almond milk as well. What made this place super fun for us was the attached indoor playground for our kids--attached in such a way that it is very convenient for parents, but not so much that you can hear it or be annoyed by it if you are just there for coffee, without kids. Looks to have a very small, but decent lunch menu. Would love to go back some Friday night for the live music. Heard about this place from a friend of a friend, stopped in on a whim, and was really impressed! Will make it a regular stop every time I'm in central Pennsylvania. read more
