And I got to speak with (I think either the manager or owner) about the music they were playing. They were playing songs from my favorite singer, Bob Seger. I have every Bob Seger song he ever published on either, CD, Cassette Tape (yeah, still got one that works), or vinyl record. Told him he needs to check out the Bob Seger song Little Victories. I actually have a vinyl record with just that song. It is the large 78 version. That was a rare find and I actually found that in Germany in the mid 80's. The song says a lot. Anyway, after speaking with the man, my daughter said I could pick out and mix my own six pack of beer. Let me tell you, Rusty Rail makes some really, really fantastic beer. I would have to say my two faovrites are Wolf King, a stout with coffee & oatmeal and the other is Fool's Gold, Peanut Butter Hefeweizen. Oh my God, those two are absolutely great beers. I should be living in Mifflinburg because I would be making a weekly stop at the Rusty Rail. And for all you ex-military people, the Rusty Rail does give a discount to military. And as a compliment to the Rusty Rail, I want to add this. When I go out to eat, one of the first things I do is use the restroom. Why? To see how clean the restrooms are. If a venu's restrooms are dirty, find another place because if they can't keep the restrooms clean, then they don't care about your food much either.
