We FINALLY went for an overnight trip to Rusty Rail! We already knew we enjoyed their beer and have always wanted to go! We started our day at the bar since you can't check in until exactly 3pm! We enjoyed a flight of beer and I had a cocktail, since we weren't going anywhere! The bar staff was very nice and one bartender in particular was very attentive! When we were able to check into our room, we decided to do so - it was to rain and we didn't want to get caught in a rain storm. Our suite was suite 1, at the very end of the hallway (very nice as there was absolutely no noise from outside). We were shocked at how beautiful and CLEAN it was! It's the first room in a long time where we actually wanted to spend time in it. Back down to the bar we went to have more drinks and dinner. We had reservations but decided to stay at the bar because the bartender was beyond friendly! The nice thing about RR is they have not only their own beer, but cocktails and wines. As for dinner, we enjoyed their brisket platter since it was Saturday. We also got a side or fries with beer cheese and chili to share. Their food was very good and worth it to us! We finished the night by going up to their game room. The bartender up there informs us they had $5 beers but we were so full, we just couldn't drink anymore. They have pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, and old school arcade games. We are already looking forward to another trip up in the fall. The only downside in our book was how early the bar/restaurant closes. But it appears the whole town shuts down by 9pm.

Super cute with a wide variety of beers on tap and a good upscale bar menu. Our bartender was amazing and very friendly.

We really liked coming here- they were able to sit our party of 6 with no wait on a Friday night. The drinks kept flowing and the food came quickly. The staff were kind and accommodating and we had a great night. The Caesar salad with tofu was one of the best I've ever had.

The food was delicious! We got the smokehouse chicken club sandwich with sweet potato fries and the Brisket melt with regular fries. We would order both again. We also enjoyed one of their beer flights. It was nice to sample what they had on tap. Service was great! We had Brittney C and she was on point our entire visit. The environment is probably one of the cooler places I've been to. They did a fantastic job inside and out with decor and bringing the building to life again. The upstairs is the entertainment space where you can hold wedding receptions or larger parties. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in the area.

Loved the whole vibe! The place is huge so although it was the weekend of the Christmas Market we were seated pretty fast. We split a few appetizers and the guys got flights. Just a really friendly place and the servers were amazing! Not sure how they managed it was so busy!! A Must when you are up here!

Mushroom Gnocchi, an awesome dish. The gnocchi are also filled with ricotta cheese.

We heard many great things about the place and we looked at the menu online. We were sold. We went, we ate, we had fun, and we enjoyed our time. The place is very large, rustic, and it can host several parties. Our server Amy was amazing, really making us feel at home. Great place, good food. Highly Recommend

Decided to run up on a whim bc we saw they had a specific beer coming out (sour) and wanted to try it. A good hour plus drive for us. Overall, we enjoyed it. We only had a beer each but no food. We had other plans that we had to get back down home for. Left with a bunch of 4-packs though...a bunch on sale. The beer was tasty and the staff was very friendly. If it wasn't such a drive, we would probably return more often. Next time, hopefully we have more time bc the interior looked pretty cool and we would like to explore. Apparently they have a game room upstairs and a bunch of taxidermy.

There are two levels. Main floor has a bar, tables, and stage for live music. The upstairs has another bar, a few games (darts, shuffleboard, etc.) and is where the all-you-can-eat wings on Wednesdays is held. Food is okay, but nothing special. Seems like it could be a good place to host an event or large party.

First experience was at an outside event. So good we came to the main property. Met Jodie our waitress and had a yummy lunch. And then Korey the mgr. being from Beer City USA Asheville we are always looking for cool beer places. This is it! Good food. Great atmosphere. Super beer. Rail to trail biking. Y'all are missing out if you haven't been here!

Visited here a few years ago & loved it! Was passing thru town and decided to stop in again - loved it! The main reason I sought it out in the first place was the history of the building RR occupies....and they definitely pay homage to it! and if that's not enough - the food is fantastic! We started out with Cheesesteak Spring Rolls - little cigar-like rolls of heaven ;) For the main courses we ordered Chicken Marsala (which contained tasty portobello raviolis) & Oak Barrel Sirloin. Both plates we superb! Sirloin was cooked perfect to my GF's tastes (med. rare) and the Marsala was a 'flavor sensation®' We were there in the late afternoon on a Sunday, but the place was hoppin' - service was great throughout & we weren't left hanging for refills, etc. Am I returning? I sure hope so!

My companion and I ended a late afternoon Williamsport visit/pub crawl at Riepstine's on a recent Friday. Fortunately for the other pubs, it was our last stop. Had it been our first stop I'm nearly certain we wouldn't have bothered going anywhere else. The pub was surprisingly quiet when we arrived at around 6 PM on a Friday but we instantly felt right at home. The bartender, Jessica, was super cool and friendly as well as being very beer knowledgeable. Knowledgeable, but not snooty or pretentious about. It was fantastic to have a beee conversation without feeling talked down to. I really don't like beer snobs and they seem to have multiplied like rabbits I enjoyed a flight of five selections and all were excellent. I'd had Riepstine's beers at local beer bars and enjoyed the opportunity to sample at the source. They brew a variety of styles to suit everyone from a middle-of-the-roader (me) to more sophisticated tastes. These folks clearly know what they're doing. Riepstine's is a bit outside "downtown" Williamsport and the exterior is unremarkable EXCEPT they have a nice outdoor area. The interior is simple, leaning toward a modern style, and really charming . My companion's first reaction was "Whoa! This is NICE" (and she has high standards). We didn't try the food but most definitely will be back to try what looked a tasty and accessible menu. I can't say enough about the service, as well as the incredibly friendly other folks at the bar. I can't wait to go back.

When it came to the plum, it really tasted like you were eating a plum (mild plum I suppose). They were also very nice and accommodating given the outdoor dining everyone was doing - they allowed us to use the restroom and fill up our water bottles so we could eat outside with the takeout we got.
