Love this local gem in downtown Milton. The baristas are super nice and they have a ton of coffee, food, and bakery items available. Everything is fresh and the vibes are definitely enhanced by cute quirky pieces.

Nope nope nope. Overall, I'm impressed with the variety of small businesses that have come to Market Street over the last four years, but Tastecraft misses the mark. They've been open for just over a year, and their offerings are not on par with the quality of the rest of the shops in downtown Lewisburg. Ultimately, I think these shortcomings stem from Tastecraft trying to do too much. They offer coffee, ice cream, a variety of pastries including macarons, and a sandwich menu. But wait, there's more -- behind the counter and the seating area, they have a market stocked with both artisan goods and basics. This is something Market Street needs, especially after CVS moved across Route 15, but it's just as easy to stop in at the bookstore, which has most of the same basics covered. In trying to be a one-stop-shop for locals, Tastecraft has lost the focus on quality that is necessary to provide anything but a mediocre-at-best experience. Beyond the products that are offered, the experience here is also a miss. The carpeted floors absorb all sound, so it feels like I'm working in the quiet section of a library, not a cafe. Conversations are held at a whisper, and the radio is playing softly. When I ordered my cold brew, the employees at the counter were so reserved that it made me feel unwelcome. One redeeming factor of Tastecraft is that the coffee here is cheap (a medium cold brew is $2.90) but you definitely compromise quality. I'm so disappointed, I wanted to like this place and find a new workspace, but by trying to fill every niche, Tastecraft fills none of them.

I really enjoyed both of my visits here. The staff are incredibly friendly and patient. I don't really know much about macarons but I enjoyed them. The other day I got a lunch panini with the free scoop of ice cream. The free ice cream was a surprisingly generous scoop and the black raspberry was delicious. On the panini the slice of tomato was a little thick and hard so it was a bit messy but it was still good. The place is very clean and nice and just feels super welcoming.

I swung through here for coffee (not bad-but nothing special) and ended up getting some macaron. They were fantastic! Large and flavorful. I'll definitely grab more when back in town!

Paris Bakery was proudly pink and impressive with its oversized pastries…read more I was overwhelmed by the generous collection of baked goods on display. Interestingly, the quiches were arranged on the counter without any casing, yet they still looked divine. Because many of the pastries were wide and tall, the boxes could not securely contain them. I would reconsider how orders are assembled since my box arrived partially open. The quiches could be reheated, although I wished they had been a bit toastier. *Strawberry Croissant: had a vibrant red exterior. The croissant itself was flaky and filled with strawberry cream and jam. It was my favorite item from my order. The strawberry flavor was intense and the thick cream helped balance the sweetness. The ratio of pastry to filling was ideal. *Raspberry Croissant: heavier on fruit rather than cream, which I preferred. The fresh raspberry on top was naturally sweet and the jam had a pleasant tartness that made it feel more balanced. *Passionfruit Croissant: looked more impressive than it tasted. It was less filled than the others, so it resembled a classic croissant with a single layer of thick cream. The cream was extremely dense and did not blend well with the pastry. The flavor did not resemble passionfruit and came across as overly sweet and floral. I was unable to finish it. *Mushroom Quiche: the mushrooms were cooked well, but the egg filling was under seasoned. The filling was not completely set and had a drippy consistency. I wished more onions had been mixed into the eggs. The crust was tasty and buttery, but it could not save the mediocre filling. *Rose Latte: fragrant drink with strong rose notes from the petals on top. It was not overly milky and the floral flavors came through nicely. *Fruit Tart: had a mixed berry topping over vanilla cream with a shortcake base. The shortcake was buttery and dense. The cream was again the least impressive component. The berries were sweet and plump, but the shortcake was substantial on its own. I would have preferred a fruit based filling rather than cream. Overall, I would stick to the berry items since they seemed the most balanced. The cream was not to my taste due to its chalky consistency and pasty mouthfeel. The pastries were enormous and were best enjoyed when shared.

Meh, not a fan but it's caffeine. Gotta be something better in town. My sister said there is a shop right down the street from where I am staying. So I dropped in at "Tastecraft". So glad I did! Tastecraft is in a cute little building on the Main Street in Lewisburg. They have 2 tables out front and 2 tables on a deck on the side of the building. The train tracks are right there on the side so it's a wonderful place to sit, sip your coffee and watch the world go by. Coffee is very good. Smooth, not bitter. Coffee is very flavorful. Lots of choices for lightener. Cream half and half oat milk almond milk reg milk etc.... They also have all kinds of snacks. I had a "wonut". What's a wonut? Let me tell you.... It's a mini Belgian waffle, deep fried and dipped in cinnamon sugar or plain sugar or glazed or a few other choices. I had cinnamon sugar. Oh my gads.... They have other snacks also. You will have to go there and check it out. The young ladies that work there are very friendly very patient, they answered all the questions this old lady asked them. Riley and Cece. Very helpful. Thank you, ladies! If I could give somewhere more than 5 stars, Tastecraft would get them. The coffee? Top notch for taste. Service? The women prepared my coffee perfectly and they did it with a friendly and professional attitude. Atmosphere? Nice, calm, cozy coffeehouse vibe. Will I be returning? You betcha!
