It's been a restaurant for decades, though the names have changed. I ordered the Rachel (Turkey Reuben) with the beer-battered fries, and my husband ordered the double stack. No surprise there, as he is the burger aficionado. The Rachel was just fine, but the coleslaw was heavily mayo-based. My only complaint. The fries were perfect. My husband loved the burger. Not in his top ten, but that does mean much as long as he says he likes it. Our bartender was so nice! She filled us in on the history of the place and was on top of the service from the get go. We've saved this place in our logbook as one to which we will return.

Reservations are definitely a must, they have limited seating and control the amount of customers dining. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Our server was great, small details obviously matter to her. Our group tried two of the bruschetta dishes, garlic bread and tomatoes. Both delicious, especially with a side of red sauce. The cocktails were well poured. The entrees were mostly spot on; the Delmonico steak and lasagna received high marks. The chicken parm was good, but I'll try something else next time. The manager finished our evening with a round of limoncello for us, a nice ending to the evening.

The fries we awesome the could've been a bit crispier but they were definitely fresh right out of the oil. The wings however were dry and tasted like they were pre fried but fried too long the second time. They were dry all the way through then drowned in barbecue sauce that wasn't really flavorful at all. I would have much preferred less sauce and a juicier wing. It was in a small town so not much to the ambiance. A basic tavern type of vibe. We went for lunch and barely anyone was there but I'm assuming it was better for dinner. Either way, I don't think I would be returning.
