But this understanding and accommodating lady allowed us to use the facilities and was willing to let us buy a couple bottles of their vino and sit on their beautiful deck and enjoy the gorgeous view... Brought 2 bottles grabbed a couple of and enjoyed bottles the sweet blush and a berry wine. The blue is good very good saving the berry for later. But a little music from my iPhone and a view works! They have a couple of flea market locations but the winery is definitely worth the trip.

Tonight there was a special that if you bought a bottle of wine you get a $10 cheese pizza - I assumed it would be the personal size but it was a large 16 inch and delicious! We also had tator tots and sliders there, both were bery good! The few times we have been in, it has been the same workers and they are always very nice. This is definitely a good spot that we will frequent in the neighborhood!!!

It was early so the place was quiet. There were some outdoor seats (tree stumps) in the back and we opted for a high table inside since it was a somewhat muggy day. There was only one person working there when we went and she was very friendly. The cider is apparently made by one person alone and she was literally canning the cider when we walked in. We got some 4 packs for take out. They have special varieties for COVID - Plum, Passion Fruit and Peach. All were excellent! The flavors were very genuine, not too sugary. When it came to the plum, it really tasted like you were eating a plum (mild plum I suppose). They were also very nice and accommodating given the outdoor dining everyone was doing - they allowed us to use the restroom and fill up our water bottles so we could eat outside with the takeout we got. All in all an excellent experience. The varieties on the website sound great and we hope to be back after COVID is gone to check the place out in full swing!

I always try to look for breweries and picked the hotel after seeing the website for Turkey Hill. Great selection of good food and more than enough to fill you up. Quite a selection of top notch brews to choose from. I like IPAs and they offer some great ones. Service was very good and friendly on a busy Wednesday and the ambiance in the bar area was pub like, just a little noisy with people having a good time. If the opportunity arises again I would not hesitate to stop here again. We highly recommend dining and drinking here.

The selection of peppers, carrots, and cucumbers was decent. *Garlic Butter Mussels: their monthly mussel dish. The mussels were cooked well and coated in a one dimensional sauce. The sweet wine was cooked down with lots of garlic, while the butter was subtle. I wished there had been a bit more toasted baguette to balance the one pound of seafood. It was about a 15 minute drive and I am glad I called ahead as they had no kitchen but a food truck would be on site. Food must be served with alcohol in Gov Wolf's world. I ordered a sampler so that I could try the different styles. I was impressed with their offerings and stayed around to have another beer. I sat on their front porch area overlooking the small town street. it was cute & quaint. If I am ever in the area again I will gladly check them out again. They even had a band playing to make the atmosphere that much better. Staff was polite and took orders on mini ipads it looked like, which made payment easy as well.

I had a brisket sandwich, wife had a really immense chicken salad. My son had a ruben sandwich and I can't remember what my daughter had. However, all the food was really great and I really did enjoy myself. After lunch my daughter took me to the Rusty Rail store and I bought a nice T-shirt. If you do buy a T-shirt, I want to say, while the shirts are great, wash up nice and feel really comfortable, make sure you buy an upsized shirt. Normally I take a large but I decided on an XL and I am glad I did because after washing the XL fits perfectly. And I got to speak with (I think either the manager or owner) about the music they were playing. They were playing songs from my favorite singer, Bob Seger. I have every Bob Seger song he ever published on either, CD, Cassette Tape (yeah, still got one that works), or vinyl record. Told him he needs to check out the Bob Seger song Little Victories. I actually have a vinyl record with just that song. It is the large 78 version. That was a rare find and I actually found that in Germany in the mid 80's. The song says a lot. Anyway, after speaking with the man, my daughter said I could pick out and mix my own six pack of beer. Let me tell you, Rusty Rail makes some really, really fantastic beer. I would have to say my two faovrites are Wolf King, a stout with coffee & oatmeal and the other is Fool's Gold, Peanut Butter Hefeweizen. Oh my God, those two are absolutely great beers. I should be living in Mifflinburg because I would be making a weekly stop at the Rusty Rail. And for all you ex-military people, the Rusty Rail does give a discount to military. I hope my kids take me to the Rusty Rail again next year. Oh, in case I did not say it. The kids took mom and dad to the Rusty Rail and the Wild Animal Sanctuary as a gift for our birthday's and Mother's Day and Father's Day. It just so happens my wife was born on Mother's Day and I was born the day after Father's Day. The atmosphere of the Rusty Rail is great, it is simply a real nice place to socialize. And as a compliment to the Rusty Rail, I want to add this. When I go out to eat, one of the first things I do is use the restroom. Why? To see how clean the restrooms are. If a venu's restrooms are dirty, find another place because if they can't keep the restrooms clean, then they don't care about your food much either. The restrooms at the Rust Rail were immaculately clean. JUST TO BE CLEAR, THE RESTROOMS AT THE RUSTY RAIL ARE IMMACULATELY CLEAN. Thank You Rusty Rail for a wonderful time with my family.

At the recommendation of our waitress, we all ordered the chicken and waffles special, and every single person loved it. It was absolutely delicious. I also had the Reuben soup and it was very tasty. They also have a wonderful beer selection. I tried the blueberry beer, which was very tasty with a smooth blueberry finish that really stood out. If you're looking for a great brewery with good food, great beer, and a fun atmosphere, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!
