They did as good job with the gel polish but nail design was terrible. It's really hard to tell what you like or don't like when the nail tech cannot speak English well. I asked her not to cut my nail cuticles but she still did it. Price was not cheaper than other places. The owner seems nice and understanding. There are plenty of parking spots available in the front. read more

This was my first and only visit. Went in to get acrylic nails removed and have a gel manicure done. To my disbelief she removed the acrylic nails by taking an acrylic nail and going up under and ripping it off. Not only was it painful but she also broke off most of my natural nails under the acrylic. The manicure I received was horrible. Bumpy and edges messy. Absolutely the worst place I have visited. Beware. read more

After waiting an hour to be seen - I asked for a set of acrylic nails with white tips - so I would have an acrylic French manicure. The technician was fantastic, but when she went to put the acrylic over the nail tip, it was pink acrylic. I asked for a white French manicure. When I asked why they were putting pink powder on my white tips, Tran said, "that's the only color we have" - and brushed me off. I said I didn't come in here for pink nails, I came in here for a white French manicure. He said, "well, do you want us to take them off?" I said, are you going to charge me to take them off? And he said, yes. I will never, never, never recommend this nail shop. I was treated rudely and ignored when I complained I wasn't getting what I wanted, and still made to pay for it. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. I will NEVER go back!!! read more

I brought my daughter in to get a pedicure and her nails done and I got a full set, hers are great, mine are terrible. The edges are rough, they weren't buffed, my white isn't straight, some of the nails are wider than the other. I will not be back! read more

I used to love going to this place it was affordable, quick, and they were nice. I haven't really had a problem here before besides them being understaff so they're always in a rush. I went in there a few weeks ago to get a dip powder change. The lady who did my nails was very rough and cutting me at least 4 times. Each file and buff after that hurt so bad and she told me I was being sensitive. She explained that she's trying to get close to my cuticle because otherwise I'd have to go see her more so cuts were just going to happen. After a few days I developed infections on the fingers she had cut. They are dry and cracking with bumps and now what looks like little holes. Thought some antibiotic cream could get it but now I am on antibiotics and an anti fungal cream. Not to mention my nails looked very bumpy and the sides were not done well. I would not recommend this place after going through what I did. Sorry:( read more

Extremely nice staff & really good prices. If you are in any sort of time crunch though, I would not recommend. Even with an appt, it has always has taken almost an hour before you are seen. If you have the time, highly recommended. read more

They're awesome, especially with college students. Me and my friend went for the first time and have continued to come since. We've even brought more people with us. May and Train run the shop and they're really sweet and provide awesome costumer service. I recommend Professional nails anytime someone asks where's a good nail shop here in Chattanooga. read more

It's a hit or miss here. I will not be going back The owners are very friendly but only one or two of the ladies do the full job. I get a pedicure mostly because I have dry heals and lots of dry, white peeling skin around my toes. If done right, my toes look good for weeks. I had them done there Saturday and they look almost the same as when I went in except for the color on my toes which I can do myself at home. If you do go there, ask for Emmy She's one of the two that does a good job read more

Went to Professional Nails yesterday for a pedicure, and was NOT happy. My pedicure was incomplete. One of the ladies actually yelled at me in front of customers and employees alike. Because these manicurists don't speak or understand English well--AT ALL--I couldn't make her understand the problem, and when I was apparently "too picky," these two female employees talked loudly about me like I don't understand how to communicate. I don't know a word of Vietnamese, but I do understand tone and gesturing. Also, I had a 3:00 appointment yet had to wait 30 minutes for one of the techs to be free. So. Wait 30 minutes for my appointment, get yelled at and treated rudely by employees, pedicure incomplete. I only gave them one star because no stars was not an option. Will not go back. Ever. read more

Best customer service and I get dip nails every time that last for 4-5 weeks before they even start to come up. It's incredible.

I haven't had my nails done in about 5 years because I was going natural, which is a ton of work with nails that chip and peal easily. I went to Professional Nails and I'm not entirely pleased. I got the dip nails done and #1 they are way too thick #2 the nail tech dipped my nails right into the powder jar that is apparently used for everyone (instead of putting the powder into a separate jar just for me). That's just not sanitary and can spread who knows what from other clients). #3 the tech did a poor job shaping my nails and there are several areas that are much thicker than others. This technique has the ability to be fantastic if it's done properly with a clean process and a nail tech who actually knows how to shape nails. I paid 35$ for these in addition to a 5$ tip , because I'm a believer in tipping well, even if the job isn't exactly what I'd hoped it would be. I can see how this establishment is popular, their clientele doesn't know any better. Update: I went to Sally's and spent about $50 for two dip powder jars and the other polishes needed for doing these nails my self. I must say, mine are much better and by my first time filling it's a massive financial save! read more

LOVE THIS PLACE FOR A DIP! they are very precise and caring with your nails. I have only gotten dip on my nails so i can't speak for anything else but they are the best i've had done. the male owner is the one who has done them. very nice guy. i moved here 3 years ago and haven't found a nail place that i was 100% happy with until now. 10/10 recommend this nail salon. I would also recommend making an appointment because they do stay pretty busy. read more

Went here for over 10 yrs. Was always happy until recent months when the polish wore off the very next day and chipped very badly. Looked horrible within 3 days. Until I just found another place to go and my nails last like they should. They told me that professional nails was using old stuff on them is why it took half my nail off with it. Never again will I go back here. Totally unprofessional in more ways than one. Such a shame to because I liked this place. read more
