I had wind damage to my dual metal gates so had to get the bracket for Liftmaster LA500dc fixed and strengthened up. Wanted to add a maglock to help prevent further damage. I decided to save and bought the motor and maglock myself after getting various quotes for labor and parts. Isaiah's quote was at the lower end and he was responsive to emails and calls. This helped me to decide on his services versus other quotes. Isaiah and Ismael were both pleasant and knowledgeable. He made me comfortable with the work to be done fixing the bracket and adding the maglock. He offered to brace the working bracket just to ensure that is stronger too which I did for a small extra cost. I was planning on installing the motor myself to save money but he took on that task and helped programmed the limits. They helped touched up some things I wanted to see after the install/fix and even help touched up paint on the gate. We tested the operation of the gate and maglock multiple times using the keypad, remote and MyQ before he left. They did run late but I had the day set for the work and it was done in a timely matter so no issues. I would recommend his services and may reach out in the future for maintenance such as painting. read more

Showed up to meet, to look at project but never sent quote after multiple follow-ups....

I just had my old gate mechanism/opener replaced along with several other improvements to the whole s. I can't say enough good things about this company. Isaiah is such a hard worker and very knowledgeable. He took over this business from his dad and knows it from the ground up. He had several suggestions that improved the whole installation and his prices were very fair. I highly recommend this company for any kind of iron fabrication or gate installation. read more

We needed a sturdy supportive railing for our back stairs and we wanted something that looked the opposite of an ADA grab bar. We didn't know how to make it work in the unusual location and we called Professional Iron Works based on yelp reviews. Isaiah and his team designed and built something lovely and we couldn't be more pleased! It provides the function we need, but it looks like we added it just to make the patio beautiful read more

I am sorry to have to leave a negative review but after my experience in 2018, which was a very good, I have made several attempts to get Isaiah out to look at my 19 year old gate his father put in for me back in 2006. Isaiah has been hard to get a hold of and difficult to schedule. I have experienced scheduled meeting where Isaiah just did not show up. I gave up on Isaiah and did a gate project with a competitor of his. Isaiah missed out on a project that could have been quite lucrative for him all because of his lack of responsiveness. I would suggest that if you're looking for Ironworks type projects, you go to a different company. Isaiah's dad would never have handled his customers with such blatant disregard. read more

The gate to our condo was bend out of shape due to some police activity. Isaiah and his team did a great job replacing the gate at a great price after the efforts to simply bend it back into place was not feasible. I appreciated that they had attempted to repair the gate first to help drive down some of the costs for this investment property. Their communication was great and the job was done lightning fast. read more

I needed a custom wrought iron driveway gate and requested quote from 5 companies and Professional Iron Works offered the lowest price. They came right away to offer a design that will last forever saving my house foundation. After the initial deposit they completed the work in under a week and the gate looks beautiful. I am very happy with working with them and not only that Isaiah offered to fix any issue with the gate anytime even years later. This is the service I was looking for and I am so pleased to pick them. Truly happy to do business with them. read more

We called various places and found their pricing to be most competitive. The design process was fast and the final product looked just as described. Even after the install the customer service has been great! The team has been super responsive and accommodating for any adjustments needed as the gate settled and went through various weather conditions. read more

Isaiah is true to his company name. True professional. Not only does he have the best price for his service and expertise but also he has the best work ethic. He came in the morning and did not make a single complain or excuse about how the gate, post and pillar is installed (unlike other installers), he stuck to his quote and finished the job perfectly. I will strongly recommend him to all my neighbors and friends and anyone who asks. Good honest guy and team. read more

They did their job and took the money but the gates broke in a few weeks. So they stopped by once and kinda fixed it but it didn't last long. Gates stopped working good in a few weeks again. And it has been a three month since I asked to come and fix it but nobody cares. Bad job. Bad gates We used that gates for two months totally , it has been installed e year ago. read more

I keep using them over and over again (for big projects and small ones). Great quality, great service. Old world quality craftsmanship at its finest. Isaiah and his team truly care about their customers. They have done a great job on entry gates (including the pillars and openers), hand rails, banisters, decorative grilles, and even custom hooks. And when a car crashed through our railings, Isaiah's team was there quickly to fix everything (and when they were done -- it looked as good (or even better) than new. If you want your house to look great (without breaking the bank), Professional Iron Works are the ones to call. read more

PIW installed a gate system in our driveway this summer. Great customer service and quality work. We worked with Isaiah to discuss initial ideas and turnaround. In our 2nd visit, he came over with the estimate and drawings. We made some minor changes to the contract and we went into production. The installation of the post, gate and the lift master motor went well with some minor adjustments. I would recommend PIW for our customed iron gate. read more

Isaiah and his team did an amazing job manufacturing and installing baby gates for the stairs in our new home! We now have peace of mind that our toddler won't go up the stairs in the split second we turn our backs. They did a beautiful job matching the baby gate to the existing railing. We will definitely be working with them again in the near future when we update / modernize the railing. read more

Came out to check out my gate, said he would get back to me over the weekend with a quote. He did not. Dodged my emails, calls, and texts. Except for when I called his wife, and she basically lied to me saying he would call me back asap. He never did. She said this more than once. Never heard from him again. I do not recommend this business. There are far better, more courteous gate companies out there. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

So I'm a little disappointed with the company. I had called to get a quote made an appointment for a Friday estimate. The appointment was rescheduled for the following Monday between 5-6 ? Monday came I got a message saying their estimator went home early so if we can reschedule for Tuesday. I wasn't thrilled about it but oh well life happens I get it, so Tuesday it is. I received a text that the estimator was on his way. He came out measured, explained what we wanted and on his way he went. A few days have gone by and I haven't received a quote yet. I called that same Friday to see when I should expect it, they said if they could they would send it out that day (Friday ) or if not expect it sometime Monday. Here I am Monday .... no quote. I called and texted ... no response. Maybe they are busy, or maybe they got caught up but I was really looking forward for a quote and getting the job done. Maybe next time. read more

Isaiah responded to my request promptly. We set a time and met to discuss our front porch iron railing. I described what I wanted. He drew some design options and brought me some samples. We also designed a iron fence next to a horrible neighbor. It looks great but also sets boundaries with a horrible neighbor. A few weeks later they installed everything professionally. We are more than pleased! Highly recommend. read more

Isaiah built my moms side yard gate. For 54 years she had had many gates that were essentially the same, poor quality. Now she has a real gate. This is so perfect it could be a front door. It is balanced and strong. It locks and most importantly it stays open so she can get the trash cans out without it slamming. I would recommend this company without question. And on a side note, having a contractor show up is rare! read more

Isaiah and his team from Professional Iron Works are amazing. He came out to the site and we showed him exactly what we had in mind. We discussed options and he had a few ideas to help the gate match the design of our home even better than we imagined. The workers were all professional and personable when working on site and we are more than thrilled with the driveway gate they installed for us. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a gate. read more

We moved to a new house recently and needed to have the fencing to our patio replaced. Isaiah was able to squeeze us in between appointments and gave us a quote in very timely manner. We gave him our requirements and he also was able to offer some suggestions and we converged on a design very quickly. He was also able to provide enough documentation for our HOA architectural process to go smoothly without a hitch. Once we paid the deposit, they went to work right away. We were surprised to come home one day to have the fence installed and looking awesome. The new fence is extremely sturdy and well-built and, though it was definitely a little pricier than buying and installing our own, the quality and workmanship definitely shows and this fence is probably going to last longer than the house itself. read more

Isaiah and his team did a wonderful job installing a wrought iron fence and an iron framed redwood automatic gate at my house. Isaiah is responsive and has great ideas to make your fence look awesome. His pricing is very reasonable. His team worked very quickly to tear down the old fence and gate and remove it and install the new one. He came out quickly for an estimate and walked us through the design process. He gave us additional houses for us to look at to get ideas for what he and his team can do. He was true to his word for the fabrication time and installation time. Hire Professional Iron Works if you want quality work run by a local family. When I was searching around for vendors to do this project for me, several other companies were completely unresponsive or extremely delayed with giving me information and pricing. Professional Iron Works lives up to their name and will treat you right. read more

Professional Iron Works did an AMAZING job baby proofing our home stairs. We tried many gate options from stores/amazon and everything was too short in length. We needed these installed ASAP, since our toddler loves to go up and down our stairs. Thank you to Isaiah and his team for such a quick turn around (2weeks). Not to mention the gates kept other children from going upstairs, during our daughters birthday party. Professional Iron Works will also be fabricating our stair rails. read more

This is a great family owned outfit! I've been using PIW since 1999 when we built our first home in Willow Glen. They designed and build the gate system for that Willow Glen Way custom home. In 2010 They designed and built my custom driveway gate for our second Willow Glen home. We recently had some scum-bags shove open the gate and damage the frame and control arm, and rob our garage. I called Isaiha and he was there the very next morning to temporally help me keep the gate shut so the dogs wouldn't get out. He removed the gate, took it to his shop, repaired & painted it, and had it installed and working again in less than three days! Their quality, timeliness and integrity in First class. I highly recommend these guys and will for sure use them again and again. read more

My first exposure to this company was this morning on my commute into work at 8:45am. An employee of the business driving a silver Chevy truck was on my bumper going up highway 101 from Morgan Hill to San Jose. While that was bad....the worst part was the eye burning bright headlights. I guess the driver uses those headlights to bully people that are on the road in front of him? I eventually pulled over and let him pass and move on to the next car where he did the same thing. I was able to see the advertisement for this business on the tailgate. Nope. I would never do business with a company whose employees treat people this way! Doesn't the driver know the business name is on the truck?! read more
