We were looking to replace our gate operators and intercom system for our court with three homeowners. Tom, the owner of Automatic Gate Pros, was responsive and provided the best quote out of three installers. He was flexible in adjusting his quote when one of the homeowners, a licensed electrician, offered to run a direct underground internet cable from the intercom to his house. The project was completed on time and Tom was able to bill each homeowner separately which was really convenient for everyone. read more

Automatic Gate Pros built a rolling gate and surrounding fence for our home. The project went very well and I'm happy with the outcome. I will look to use them again for any similar work and am happy to recommend them here. My project involved building a new steel rolling gate, trenching and laying down a thirty-foot concrete track, and a chain drive motor. Around the 16-foot gate was 34 feet of redwood fencing. Jordan, the sales rep and project manager, was responsive and easy to work with. He scheduled the project to meet our needs and around some tricky weather. He checked in with me to ensure I was happy with the design and made sure the wood and lattice matched our property. And Alejandro and the crew did good work. I was happy with the build quality. They were nice to people, left the site clean, and were respectful of our neighbors. read more

I had a problem with my gate; not even a year old, broke on me and stopped working. So, I found Automatic Gate Pros on Yelp and spoke with Tom. He came over, and the next day, they installed a new LiftMaster machine. The best part is that now I don't need a remote in my car, as it's programmed with my car. I'm really happy with their service. They're very professional people, Price was very reasonable and I highly recommend them. read more

Tom was very responsive and came out and was able to diagnose and problem solve a 5 year mystery problem with our gate and frequent breakdowns. The installing company could never figure out the problem and just kept overcharging us. So it was with sincere and true relief to find Automatic Gate Pros who have the skills to actually fix problems not just sell you more and more equipment unnecessarily. We will be using this company for all of our gate needs, and recommend them for any repairs or installations. read more

Tom came out to help fix my gate and quickly diagnosed the issue as electrical. He had it repaired in no time. What really impressed me was his honesty - he had purchased a part thinking we'd need it, but when it turned out we didn't, he insisted on not charging me for it. I couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend! read more

I had Automatic Gate Pros install new gate controls in 2023. They installed on two metal blades over dirt area. I have had many rodent invasions destroying wires . They told me to build wire cages. The gates were inoperable many times .The boxes should have been installed on concrete pads of which Liftmaster now requires. They say they have no responsibility. I place 6 calls and voicemails over 3 weeks. I was told their phones were not working. Can you really trust a company with these issues? I have had no communication. I had to hire a new company to come and pour new concrete pads and repair all of the chewed wiring. It is costing a great deal. I have dealt with Tom apparently the owner. Good Luck ! read more

When I decided to install an automatic gate, I got three quotes. Of the three, Automatic Gate Pros was (slightly) the highest. But Tom (the owner) asked all the right questions and offered trustworthy information when other gate companies just told me whatever I wanted to hear (for example, Tom correctly said that solar power wouldn't work for my gate, given the shadowed location). AGP delivered exactly what they promised and the craftsmanship of the gate itself is excellent. I can strongly recommend Automatic Gate Pros. read more

We had a great experience with Tom and his crew. They did our automatic driveway gate, pedestrian gate, and key pad along with the sensors in the driveway for auto opening. They executed our vision beautifully and even added a steel bar at the bottom of our driveway gate so our tiny dog could not fit under. Their team is honest, professional and reliable. Thank you! read more

I had Tom from Auto Gate Pros come out for a consultation on my 7-year-old gates, which were very expensive but never worked properly--and I was never able to use the app. Tom was incredibly knowledgeable. Even though the system, board, and operations are no longer commonly used, he was able to quickly diagnose and solve two major issues on the spot. I highly recommend Tom and Auto Gate Pros if you're looking for someone experienced, honest, and capable of fixing what others can't. read more

Had a automatic gate that is over 15 years old and has not worked for over a year. I was worried that anyone that came out was going to try and convince me to get new gate openers for thousands of dollars. Tom came out, looked it over and said I know exactly the parts you need and came back with the new parts and had it up and running and for under $500. Well worth the price and wouldn't hesitate to call them if anything else breaks down. They did not try to upsell me anything. Call them first! read more

I was given a very reasonable price for an annual Viking gate operator checkup, and agreed to install a new replacement switch at the same time. Very professional, and didn't try to claim there was more heavy duty maintenance that was required than actually is. Most gate operator companies try to scam you on pricing. Automatic Gate Pros is by far the best value. read more

I needed to replace the double operators on my gate and when I started calling around I was impressed with the responsiveness of Tom. He definitely seemed more knowledgable and familiar with my current operators vs someone else I spoke with. Once I confirmed I wanted to go ahead with installing new operators, the parts were ordered and installed within the time frame promised. The installer was efficient and knowledgeable and when I detected an issue within the first couple of days Tom was right on it and got it corrected the same day. Everything working as promised! I was very pleased with the level of service. read more

I highly recommend Automatic Gate Pros, specifically Jordan and his team. They were reliable, trustworthy, and delivered exactly what they promised. I was impressed with their communication throughout the entire process. They responded to our initial inquiry/quote quickly and kept us updated on progress and addressed any questions we had promptly. We asked for a different design gate (from a photo) which was no problem at all. Their attention to detail was impressive, ensuring that every aspect of the project was handled with precision and care. We have a driveway that slopes to the side and is also on a hill. Which actually made our gates different sizes and angles. They saw all the issues preemptively which meant there were no issues down the line. The quality of materials used and the skill of the team resulted in a beautiful, functional gate. They finished the work within the given time frame without compromising quality. They took great pride in their work making sure everything worked well and was perfectly aligned The crews were very pleasant and timely and worked diligently to meet the completion deadline. It was effortless working with these guys we would definitely recommend read more

Tom at Automatic Gate Pros is awesome. He came out and gave us an estimate, measured and checked out our driveway. He also gave me the run down of the different options. We got to choose the wood and pick the stain. He then came back a few weeks later and installed it. The installation went smoothly and everything looks great. One thing I will say is that you should not expect any help from him when picking your stain color. Since you are on your own, let me get you started by saying that there is interior and exterior stain colors, and very few places that sell stain have any samples in exterior colors made up. This was the most frustrating part of it. Post installation, everything worked perfectly for a while and then it stopped opening consistently. And then it stopped working altogether. Apparently the sensor is super sensitive and somehow got out of alignment. I called Tom and he came out and moved it back into alignment. Not sure why no one's garage sensors ever come out of alignment, but this one is so super sensitive, but....apparently it is. Anyway- Tom will take good care of you. read more

I had a very positive experience with getting my gate system updated and replaced to the wireless version. The owner, Tom got back to me right after I sent my request in via yelp. I told him what days I was available. He took my first day available. Came out told me all my options and walked me through them. I made my decision. He came back a couple of hours later and installed it! Took 30 minutes to install. A while longer to walk me through it. Couldn't be happier! Thanks for making it so easy! Our HOA replaced its gate access control system with Doorbird, installed by Automatic Gate Pro. Tom is the owner. He showed us how easy it works and the extra functions compared to other systems. He installed the system, problem solved, guided our administrator to program the system ourselves and followed up with us to make sure it is working smoothly after the installation. I am glad we changed to the Doorbird system. It is easier to use and gave us more functionality to improve the security in our HOA. I highly recommend Doorbird and Automatic Gate Pro as the company to install it. read more
