Our sliding driveway gate and adjacent pedestrian gate project looks great! Capital guys worked well for scheduling with our concrete contractor pouring the gate track and setting the posts. My only wish would be to have more input on hinges of the pedestrian gate- what was installed is going to be durable but a hinge that reduces the gap would have been preferred. I just didn't know to ask so that's on me, not on Capital. Would recommend Capital Automatic Gates and recommend using a gate specialist for your gate project- fence contractors are great for fences but not as good with gates. read more

After an unexpected morning power outage, we found that our automated gate in front would no longer open/close properly. After some frustrating attempts at fixing it ourselves led to utter failure, we poked around on Yelp to find a profession who could come help us. We reached out to multiple companies, only to find that a lot of them either never responded or bothered to follow-up past the initial reply. When Sergio called however, he was able to book us for the very next day, and showed up promptly and on-time. Not only was Sergio able to fix our gate, but when we pointed out that the previous technician who installed this now-replacement motor never hooked up the electrical running from our home switch to the motor due to lack of knowledge and experience, he was able to quickly hook that portion up too! Which now allowed us to once again use the controls inside the garage to control the gate without relying on the remote all the time. And while Sergio pointed out that he specialized on working on gates and not garage doors, he even volunteered to take a look at our garage door which was having trouble closing without holding down the close button. And in just 5-10mins, diagnosed and fixed the issue for us! Sergio is a life saver! My chamberlain elite swing gate was not working after some contractors coming to the house to work on renovation. I had two electrician came and both quoted me $5000+ to replace the unit, saying the motor is bad and there are no replacement available since it's an old unit. I am glad I gave Sergio a call and he was able to fix it in minute and pointed out to me that because the contractor might have pushed the gate while it was engaged, the reset mechanism was engaged to prevent damage to the motor. Once the reset button is pushed, it's now working again. I was able to save $5000 and he helped me to program the key and gave me a new one for a very reasonable amount of money. We had a long list of requirements: control and programming through our phones; An extra electric lock to hold it closed; program remotely a daily open/close schedule; the operator's motor had to be strong enough to move the gate against the wind; we needed a way for bicyclists and pedestrians to exit; And we wondered if the gate can look like a photo we found on the Internet...
