In 2025 a fence put up by Ergeon in 2018 falling down. Center Post failing. Called the company and they would not fix the post but will instead put a sister post next to it to brace it for $900. I had an independent contractor replace the center Post for $500. This involved taking down the fence around the post, and removing the concrete bottom and failing post. Turned out that the culprit was termites invading from the bottom of the post and weakening it. Apparently the concrete bottom did not cover the bottom of the post. read more

While I think the actual laborers were nice and hardworking the inability to reach anyone was very frustrating. We were quoted one fee and then when the employee showed up they realized our job was much bigger causing the quote to double. We decided to go ahead with the work and postpone other jobs needing to be done. We are still talking with the workers trying to understand why our fence is still crooked. I would highly recommended getting two or three estimates before getting your fence fixed and try everyone other than Ergeon. Very disappointed as it's women owned And that was appealing to us. read more

Our fence was falling down, so I and the neighbor decided to get it replaced. I called the last person who's done the back fence and the price was high. My neighbor found this company and got a nice quote, less expensive so I was a little concerned. After the quote was in, we're ready to do it. Our requirements were demolition, removal of old fence and installed new NO-SIDE fence with Redwood planks. Everything was confirmed and the price split in 2, I pay mine and he pays his, we use credit card to set up payment. The first appointment was canceled and the second was done in one day. Alessandra was the coordinator and she did a great job making sure everything to our convenience. I wasn't home while they started and finished the job, my neighbor was there. The job was done beautifully. I'm very pleased. Will I refer this company to my friends and families? Yes, of course. read more

Terrible communication-- signed contract on June 8th fence was supposed to be completed on June 19th. There were many issues and they are finally having the installers come back out this Saturday 7/11. The gate is too small and the latch catches, the fence was supposed to be flush with the side of the house it was framed out to the front. The bottom is 6 inches in some places and on the ground in others.. They cut off the top of the boards and they look terrible- they also left all the cut boards all over my neighbors house. This company is very fishy, and I feel deceived by their high rating. You never really know who you're dealing with, they operate more like a broker than an actual fencing contractor. We received a quote from them without ever meeting anyone in person. the quote was sent to us by some unknown person, based only on Google Maps measurements, no in-person site visit at all (first red flag). They gave us a start date, but no one showed up. I called about 5-6 times, and each time a different person answered, telling me they'd need to check with the project manager--who I'm now convinced is someone that arranges with a local contractor in your area and collects his share. Every single call ended with "we'll get back to you," but no one ever did. On one occasion, a woman answered and claimed the satellite imagery wasn't accurate, then asked for an additional $1,500 on top of the original quote. I'm not even sure they comply with regulations. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. A legitimate contractor will meet you in person, give you an accurate quote upfront, and actually show up when they say they will. read more

Ergeon was so easy to work with from start to finish. We started with a virtual consult for a quote based on satellite calculations, which was followed by a pre-installation walkthrough. Ergeon obtained permits and worked with utility companies to ensure digging was safe and wouldn't damage any buried service lines. Their initial quote was spot on and the in person walkthrough didn't change the scope of the project in terms of cost. The installers came out on the scheduled day and were punctual and courteous. They hauled all the old wooden fence pieces and even trimmed our trees near the fence. The work was completed in about 2 hours and our fence is a beauty and should last a very long time (Ergeon uses Con Common Redwood for the fence panels, with pressure treated wood for the posts and kickboards that make ground contact) We highly recommend this company for fencing needs! read more

If I could give them less than 1 star, I would! This is literally the worst experience I have ever had with a vendor of any kind. I signed a contract for a fence and gate with Ergeon and unbenownst to me, a 3rd party installer, AMG Fencing, arrived to install the fence. The crew they sent lacked overall knowledge and care and were sent with less material than was needed to complete the fence. It stands to reason that you would bring extra material so that boards that are in unacceptable condition are not used on someone's fence, but that was definitely not the case. They cut up boards to piece together two fence boards and planned to leave them that way except for the fact that we saw them on the final walkthrough. The pressure treated used was in horrible condition and over 1/4 of the fenceboards were in horrible condition. It is a board on board fence and the workmanship was trash. Nails were haphazardly driven through cracking fenceboards and rails. The final product is a joke so I refused to sign off. I was contacted by the "project manager" who didn't even contact me to check the work, only to set up the next job of staining that I had contracted. I informed her that I was not going to sign off as the fence condition was unacceptable. The foreman for AMG showed up the following day unannounced. Replaced the pieced together boards and planned to just leave. I caught him and did a walk through with him explaining my concerns with the workmanship, which he completely blew off. I chose this company because they built our neighbors fence last year and it looks great so I asked him to go look at their fence and compare it to ours. His answer was that he should just come back and replace the PT cap rails with Redwood and call it good. First, that's not what I ordered and second, that is literally not the problem. The whole fence is the problem. He was condescending and dismissive even telling me a story about another customer that he "proved wrong" with his many years of experience. I told him that I would contact Ergeon and speak with them. I took 30 pictures of the poor fence work and sent them to Juan in the Escalations Dept (sad that they need one). At first, he seemed like he was going to take care of it. This was the Thursday after the fence was installed on Tuesday. I didn't hear from him at all after that. On Monday, a crew from AMG showed up with redwood cap rails on their truck and said that they were there to "do repairs". I told them that I had not heard that they were coming from Ergeon so I can't have them working. They called Sergio, their boss while I called and left a message for Juan at Ergeon. He called back and said that they should not have been there and that is not "how they do things" and that he would contact them right away. Another knock on the door and the crew said that they have the material to do all of the repairs and were told by their boss to complete them. I said, again, no you don't have material to do the repairs, I can see what's on your truck and I cannot have you working without Ergeon and AMG being on the same page. They left and I immediately received a message from Juan at Ergeon asking me to let them do the repairs and stating that he assured me that they agreed to go purchase any materials needed. I said, sorry, but I sent them away already. Maybe communication should be better on your end! This whole week has been a back and forth with Juan who does not seem to have any knowledge of fencing and continues to defer to a 3rd party contractor with a poor attitude towards customers. Juan says that AMG can come out and assess, purchase the adequate material and do the repairs on Friday, May 22nd. What kind of service do you think I will be getting on the Friday before a holiday after this back and forth??? I will be escalating this issue farther up the chain today, but it appears to me like this company is compartmentalized purposefully to run customers around until they get tired of fighting and pay the bill and keep their crappy fence. Unfortunately for them, that will not be the case here. I have been in customer service in some form all of my life and I will not tolerate a 40 million dollar company taking advantage of customers. Ridiculous! I caution you to stay clear of this company! read more

After posting my original review the Ergeon team escalated the issue and sent a different installer to fix the problems. The new installer had a much better attitude and did his best to fix most of the issues that we pointed out. We would have been better off had this installer done the work from the beginning. Also I'm updating from one star to three stars and am hesitant to go beyond three because of how much of a hassle this was, and also the fact that we were not provided any help by the original project manager until I posted a review about this online. I do however appreciate the escalation manager for being in constant touch once this was escalated and seeing this through with the new installer. read more

I called Ergeon on Nov. 4, 2025 to talk about a fence upgrade. Had a very informational video with Carlos the next day and received a quote. The next day, Aikim, the project manager called me to set up a site inspection with the installer. We set up the installers inpection for 11/07. Rosendo, the installer and I walked around the property and made some changes to the project. Got a new quote along with an installation date of 11/15. Rosendo and his crew showed up bright and early, 8 am and worked like a well oiled machine until the job was done and they had cleaned up. Very pleased with the work from Carlos, Aikim, Rosendo and the crew!. Very pleased with the process. I will add some photos. We only replaced fencing that was absolutely necessary. Worst company ever. I got new posts installed to repair fence in my backyard. Now, the post is bending in one direction and not stable. I asked them to fix it in warranty since they installed the new posts. These guys would never repair and tell me that it comes under fence repair and I need to pay money to repair it. Besides, there posts are not good quality. Earlier, one of the posts showed huge wear and tear. I don't recommend this company. Update: The team reached out to me after my review and promptly replaced the post, the very same day. I appreciate their quick response and effort to make things right. read more

This is the second fence I have had Ergeon install on my property. You don't go back to a company unless you get great service the first time and both experiences have been WONDERFUL! Carlos Garcia handled the spec and bid process quickly and with care. Alessandra Morales, our project manager, kept me informed every step of the way and really worked to make sure I was happy with the process and final product. Luis Sosa, or installer, and his team, did superb work and worked around some tricky situations and obstructions (immovable planter boxes and a Tuff Shed) with care and great expertise. 1/30 Update: After my experience with the prior installation, the folks at Ergeon were quick to address the concerns I had with both gates. The specialist and project manager, Fernando, made things right (honestly like it should've been to begin with). I do have a gate warranty so that covered the costs for the additional repairs but that aside, I'm pleased with the latest fixes. Original post: Prospective gate buyer(s) beware! This is a post that is long overdue. We had new gates installed at our home from Ergeon in April 2021. The initial interactions with the Ergeon team were great - they were responsive and accommodating to our timelines since we were also getting our house painted at the same time. They had a nice digital blueprint of what we would expect to have installed by their team and it seemed like they were on their A game. Well, that all went downhill when the actual gates were installed. We had paid for a single and double gate to be installed with double rods and 2x4 reinforcements to maintain the integrity of the gates. Somehow, the reinforcements and the horizontal panel layout wasn't conveyed to the actual team installing the actual gates. When the work was done, one of the gates were installed vertically instead of horizontally. It was pretty clear that it should've been horizontal since our digital/electronic work order we were given from Ergeon literally had pictures of what the gate should look like. Obviously, there was a gap in communication internally on what should've been done. The team adjusted the panels from vertical to horizontal but the nightmare unfortunately didn't end there. When we had tried to open the single gate, there was a faucet inside that prevented the gate from opening up completely making the gate to this day, unusable. They basically planted the gate foundation posts too far back which led to this issue which hasn't been addressed even now. The other issue was related to our double gate which was completely misaligned and literally rubbing/running into each other. And again and unfortunately to this day, the two gates are still misaligned even after their supposed "fix". We had repeatedly reached out to Ezequiel who was the assigned project manager at the time on our project who not surprisingly became unresponsive to our emails after voicing our concerns. It wasn't a huge shock though when we found out that this individual was no longer with the company and we only found that out after getting a kickback email that our emails weren't sent/received. I had to call Ergeon yet again to get in contact with someone who confirmed he was no longer with the company. After this, we were finally able to get someone to come out and fix the double gates so that they would align somewhat better than they were before but it's still not what we had paid to have done as the job was very sloppy. At this point, we've thrown in the towel since every single time we've had to contact them, it's been a complete nightmare. We would've been better off not going with Ergeon to begin with based on what we know now. read more

Ergeon was a terrible company to do business with in the replacement of my redwood fence. They did not do a proper site assessment. Someone came out and said he was going to measure the fence line. But no discussion of his findings or assessment. He evidently told Ergeon HQ that the fence was currently 7 feet but the bid was for 6 feet and 'someone' should talk to the customer. This did not happen. When the sub-contractor (yes sub-contractor) came to build the fence it was obviously shorter. They also used wood that was cracked and moldy. I included a couple of photos below. When I complained the answer was: "Well, that is the way the trees grow now." Really? After much back and forth the sub-contractor returned and replace some of the boards with a somewhat better quality of wood. But in the meantime more wood had split and cracked. When the sub-contractor returned again to replace boards, he brought more of the moldy boards. I let him know that the moldy wood was not acceptable.
