4.5 stars What happens when an illegally parked moped with no insurance falls on you car? You can guess. I was a little upset but a couple glasses of wine helped. Maybe it was a couple bottles? Lol. After the quote I received from a body shop to fix the damage, I decided to just let it be. Accidents do happen and I can live with this eye sore. Fast forward. What happens when you fall asleep on the way home after a long day? In my case, I luckily just damaged my rim on the curb. It's an eye sore but I could live with it since it was on the passenger side of the vehicle. My wife was annoyed but what can you do? Recently I realized I need more space and I have to get a SUV. These little eye sores needed to be fixed. The guy I've always gone to when I needed to fix any damage to my rims has retired. I didn't know anyone else in this line of work so I jumped onto Yelp. I found Prodent Hawaii and called them right away since they could do both. Thiago was prompt in his texts to me regarding the damaged areas. He was able to offer me a quote over text and picture messages which was convenient. The rim would be $175 and the dent was $105. Unfortunately the quote for the dent was less than what the actual charge was. Thiago was on vacation in Brazil so Sandro came to work on the dent. He initially asked for about $50 more for the dent but when he was done, he said it was about $75-$100 more. I ended up paying $160 for the dent. It had to be done so no biggie and it was still cheaper than going to a body shop. Sandro did a good job. Andre worked on the rim and he did a good job as well. I was quoted 2 hours to get the entire job done and it took about 4 hours but it's all good. They did come to where I was to fix the damaged areas which is convenient. When I got to see the final results, I was satisfied. They made it look a lot better than it was and to the naked eye, one couldn't tell there was damage in those areas. Thiago did a superb job with fixing the dents on my car. I called him on a Friday and he wanted pictures of the damage. He responded a day later but that didn't bother me. We scheduled for the work to be done. He gave me a time frame and arrived in the time promised. What's awesome is he is mobile. Thiago will drive to you which I feel is a great touch to his business. His work was very professional. It took him just under an hour to fix all the dents I pointed out. The quality of the work made it seem as if a dent was never there. He mentioned he's been doing this for 15 years and it shows through his dedication to what he does. Price was negotiated. I paid a very fair price and gave him a generous tip cause he deserved it. Amazing service and affordable prices! I called around asking for quotes to get a really deep dent repaired. Sadly lots of other companies denied servicing us because of how deep the dent was and the location of where the dent was and other companies where charging us $700+. Prodent called us back about 2 days after I inquired and told us that they can do the job but it won't be 100% removed but it was a lot cheaper than the other quotes we received. I rarely write reviews anymore but WOW. Gian did absolute amazing work for my rims. I purchased my car from a family friend, however all four rims had varying degrees of scratches, and one rim had a fairly deep gouge/dent. I lived with it for a while since I didn't drive much during the pandemic, but since my dad was getting his rims done, I figured I would bring my car down too to get a quote. Gian mentioned that due to the severity of the gouge, he wouldn't be able to get it back to a 100%, which was understandable. When I returned (same day service) to get my car, I had to do a double take. All 4 rims looked impeccable, and even though I still saw a little blemish where that gouge was, I had to look closely a few times before I saw it.
