I've heard the stories and read the reviews but I got to experience it for myself today. Long story short- The City left a street unpaved and stripped (I didn't know) and before I could turn around.. I had to subject my poor baby to the conditions. What I didn't see was a pothole with jagged edges that thankfully only caught part of my rim and didn't damage the tire. I'm salty as hell that I had to spend money I shouldn't-- but luckily Thiago came through. I requested a quote in the evening and managed to get seen quickly to fix the issue. There's a few sounds in the worth that chills my blood-- but one of them is definitely the sound of a rim meeting concrete.. it honestly turns my stomach but the light at the end of the tunnel was having Thiago's crew take a look at the damage, tell me it was fixable (and they seen worse). Of course the wait is a killer. You don't know what you're gonna be looking at when you're done, but with multiple people I know that used ProDent vouched for their work and I believed them. In about 45 minutes the work was done and I was absolutely blown away. I couldn't even remember where the damage was, that's how great of a job was done. I was driving in Waikiki in my Tesla that was less than 2 months old when I made a right turn and scraped the curb with my back right rim. It was a sad sad day for me. I felt so sick. When I parked the car I was too afraid to get out and look at the damage. I immediately looked on Yelp for rim repair and I am so glad I found ProDent Hawaii. He texted me when he was on his way and how far out he was. He was awesome! I can't say enough good things about him. He took a look at my rim and straight up said he could repair it to match my rim about 95%. I think it matched 100%! He's just being modest. He was in and out under an hour, maybe 30 minutes. If you need rim repair look no further! They'll come to you, all you need is an outlet for them to use and preferably a garage or somewhere to provide them shade, and did I mention they take Venmo? Amazing work. Thiago is awesome~ he removed a prominent dent from the body line of the front passenger fender... on a Mercedes-Benz GLK350... it's a hard thing to do because the metal is already sharply creased as part of the vehicle design. To give you some idea: 4 other dent removal companies said it couldn't be done or that they weren't sure what the result would be. I read Thiago's reviews and checked out the photos and I saw that he has done fantastic work regarding this type of repair before and sure enough: he was able to clear the dent. It was such an ugly, visible dent and now it's invisible. He also went above and beyond to remove all the other dents on the car and his price is well-worth it for the amount of work he does and the near factory-finish result! Someone gave my BMW a big door ding right on the body line crease. I thought I could ignore it, but being RIGHT there near the driver's door I couldn't miss it and it cried "look at me" every time I walked towards the car. It got the point I didn't feel like driving anywhere; yes I realize how ridiculous and silly it sounds, but you're reading a review from a guy who once guarded paint chips on his Hotwheels because they needed to be perfect. OCD much? So I began my quest to see how it could be fixed and ran across this Paintless Ding Repair option. For some reason, I called others first, maybe because it just fell under my thumb first. Credit where due, all the owners in this industry gave quick and professional responses. I was impressed at the level of professionalism in this industry. Thiago turned out to be the quickest amongst all of them and he ended up giving me a fair quote (a couple hundred; whereas a body shop would have done it for $1300) He answered all my questions patiently and then offered an appointment two days after my initial text. I was skeptical it would be fixed completely. I was bracing myself to see a result that would take me 80% of the way; and I would have honestly been fine with that. I banged two of my rims on a curb in my parking lot each on different occasions. Was seriously considering buying new rims as it was kind of annoying me that I have banged up rims on my new car and then I happened upon Prodent Hawaii.
