When we asked for an accommodation, the security guard was rude and told us that if my son wanted water, he could walk all the way to the entrance every time, despite the distance from the bowling area. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke with the manager, Luis Gonzalez, but unfortunately he was just as dismissive and uninformed about autism and disabilities. Rather than listening and showing compassion, he was rude and unwilling to understand my son's needs. Businesses that serve families should make an effort to educate their staff about disabilities and neurodiversity. With autism becoming more widely recognized, basic awareness, empathy, and reasonable accommodations should not be too much to ask. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and unsupported. I will also be reaching out to upper management, including Cynthia Torres, to make her aware of this situation and to see whether changes can be made. As an autism mom, it is my responsibility to advocate not only for my son but for other individuals with autism and disabilities as well. No family should have to experience being dismissed or treated without understanding when simply requesting reasonable accommodations. My hope is that this feedback leads to better education, awareness, and compassion from staff so that all guests feel welcomed and respected.

When we first sat down, our server greeted us but never came back to take our order for food or drinks the entire time we were there. Around 5:40 PM, I went to the front desk to ask if we could extend for another hour since we were planning to order food and drinks. I explained that our server never returned to take our order, but the staff at the front didn't seem to care and just said they were "full" and couldn't extend our time. There was no attempt to fix the situation or acknowledge the poor service. To make things worse, our lane time was cut off about 15 minutes early even though we paid for a full hour. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was that the server said he needed to hold onto my credit card to keep the tab open. I agreed because we planned to order more food and drinks, but given the lack of service, that felt questionable. I'll definitely be keeping a close eye on my statement to make sure there are no unauthorized charges. Overall, very poor service and a frustrating experience. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Another super late review, but better late than never, right?…read more In May, 2015, I was in town for E*TRADE's annual Directions Conference, staying at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE. On Wednesday, the 13th, I still had not eaten dinner and found myself hungry, but it was late, past regular restaurant hours. No problem, I thought, since I was in Los Angeles - there had to be a food truck or taquería nearby, right? Afterall, I was in Southern California...and I was hit with a sudden craving for tacos. Wendell advised against walking around the neighbourhood alone, for safety reasons. Fortunately, I found out that LUCKY STRIKE at L.A. Live was just steps away from me...and they were still serving food. Perfect, I went straight there to get my grub on. I arrived around midnight to a very cool, upscale bowling alley. The atmosphere was similar to a discothèque with dim, hued lighting and music playing. Unfortunately, I was flying solo, so didn't bowl. I went straight to the bar, pulled up a stool and perused the menu. Since it was past 10PM, I was there during HAPPY HOUR. I was stoked. ...and guess what - the menu offered tacos! Although I didn't come to play, I was still winning! You know it - I ordered STREET TACOS, a trio of shredded BARBACOA braised beef, YUM! Of course, I took advantage of HAPPY HOUR and ordered a cherry vodka sour (concoction of vodka and grenadine, on the rocks) to wash down the Mexican handhelds that I devoured. My tummy was very happy. The bartender who served me was polite and friendly. It was my very first solo visit at a bar and conversation with him made me feel like I was in good company. I guess I had a lucky strike at LUCKY STRIKE. Enter happy face emoji here.

The screen showed around $12 per game earlier, then later it jumped to about $15 per game the same day. Place looks nice and the LA Live location is convenient, but the cost adds up fast, especially if you bring family. For what you pay, it doesn't feel worth it. Between bowling, games, and food, you can easily spend way more than expected. Not a terrible place, but the inconsistent pricing and high cost make it hard to come back.

We held a milestone celebration here for our construction crew, what a great experience!…read more First off all the staff were friendly, helpful and hospitable. This felt like a classic bowling alley- no gimmicks and no silliness. This place features a bar & grill, two pool tables, a fair amount of bowling lanes, and a small arcade. The dining area seating is plenty and the touchscreen displays at the lanes make setting up your games very easy. This place was clean, professional and didn't feel "corporate" if that makes sense. It definitely took me back to when I was a kid, bowling in a league with my uncles, very nostalgic. Our host gave us a quick rundown and rules which was great for anyone who had never been bowling before. Our party was pretty big (I think 30-40 people) but the staff was great in keeping up with our hungry carpenters. The food was good, I definitely rate it better than all bowling alley food I've ever had- but not quite "sit-down-restaurant" quality. That's OK, we were there to bowl and have fun. Everyone had a fantastic time. I highly recommend for group events, parties, dates or family fun. I leave one star off for parking- there is very limited parking and maybe I missed something but it seemed like the closest option was meter parking or up the block, most of our guys parked a block away in a public lot.

Not only that but the staff was rude, and were inconsistently enforcing wearing bowling shoes. Other bowlers had regular shoes on, but our party was told to wear their shoes or leave. When pointed out, staff said we were wrong. The lanes were inconsistently oiled, the balls were all chipped and low quality. Music was so loud, could barely hear my friends and I speak. Weird policy of charging credit cards at $50 increments. So a $5 dollar water is a $50 charge with a $45 dollar refund. Weird and strange policy. Added 1 star because the pins weren't held up by strings. Probably won't be back unless major changes are made.

The service was top notch! Our server, Ryan C. was wow...so attentive, so very patient. We had a lot of kids, and adults were ordering drinks ... it seemed so overwhelming. I watched him as he floated through our insanely large party, never skipping a beat. As I was setting up the room, he was there every 5-10 minutes checking on me as he learned from the moment he met me that I'm a lot. . Most servers and staff tend to shy away from someone of my anxiety level, not to mention, my sarcastic, yet witty humor when I'm stressed out. Not Ryan. He endured every bit of it. Management chose the right person attend to me. Which now allows me to segway into that aspect. The manager, Vivek, was so incredibly patient and kind. He was there to greet me and my guests. He would periodically come and check in to ensure everything was going well. Managers are busy with so much when it comes to a restaurant, so I appreciated his efforts. However, I made sure he was aware that the server that he assigned to our party was doing an excellent job. I believe Vivek picked up on my craziness and hand picked the server. He chose well. The party was a huge success. The bowling alley was so nice and clean. I was nervous to have a bunch of crazy, baseball playing, heathen boys (whom I absolutely adore) come in and possibly destroy this gorgeous establishment, haha. Needless to say, we all left in one pice and only broke one (plastic) cup. Now, the food. After discussing the food options, he finally suggested the brunch buffet. If there's anything I detest when I throw parties, it's bringing home boxes of pizza or chicken that will not be eaten. The brunch was perfect. The kids got to choose what they wanted, eat what they wanted and that was the end of it. The brunch also included the fabulous dessert bar. It included a chocolate fountain. My heart raced with the mention of a chocolate fountain with 25 kids. Sure enough, my increased blood pressure was validated. These kids with that fountain, lord. BUT... the staff just cleaned up without hesitation. They stayed on top of the recurring mess and not for a second did I feel shamed. Nor did I receive any notice that I was not allowed back..haha. I received many compliments on the execution of this party. I was surprised how many of the guests never knew about Pinstripes. Well, they know now. Thank you Vivek for allowing me to host my son's birthday. For going above and beyond to ensure everything went well. For the management of your incredible staff. A business is only as good as it's leaders. I am not a very easy person to please, but pleased is an understatement.
