We had the very best experience here for my son's 8th birthday! Lots of people go to other bowling alleys for kids birthdays, but I have been dying to try this place! The service was top notch! Our server, Ryan C. was wow...so attentive, so very patient. We had a lot of kids, and adults were ordering drinks ... it seemed so overwhelming. I watched him as he floated through our insanely large party, never skipping a beat. As I was setting up the room, he was there every 5-10 minutes checking on me as he learned from the moment he met me that I'm a lot. . Most servers and staff tend to shy away from someone of my anxiety level, not to mention, my sarcastic, yet witty humor when I'm stressed out. Not Ryan. He endured every bit of it. Management chose the right person attend to me. Which now allows me to segway into that aspect. The manager, Vivek, was so incredibly patient and kind. He was there to greet me and my guests. He would periodically come and check in to ensure everything was going well. Managers are busy with so much when it comes to a restaurant, so I appreciated his efforts. However, I made sure he was aware that the server that he assigned to our party was doing an excellent job. I believe Vivek picked up on my craziness and hand picked the server. He chose well. The party was a huge success. The bowling alley was so nice and clean. I was nervous to have a bunch of crazy, baseball playing, heathen boys (whom I absolutely adore) come in and possibly destroy this gorgeous establishment, haha. Needless to say, we all left in one pice and only broke one (plastic) cup. Now, the food. After discussing the food options, he finally suggested the brunch buffet. If there's anything I detest when I throw parties, it's bringing home boxes of pizza or chicken that will not be eaten. The brunch was perfect. The kids got to choose what they wanted, eat what they wanted and that was the end of it. The brunch also included the fabulous dessert bar. It included a chocolate fountain. My heart raced with the mention of a chocolate fountain with 25 kids. Sure enough, my increased blood pressure was validated. These kids with that fountain, lord. BUT... the staff just cleaned up without hesitation. They stayed on top of the recurring mess and not for a second did I feel shamed. Nor did I receive any notice that I was not allowed back..haha. I received many compliments on the execution of this party. I was surprised how many of the guests never knew about Pinstripes. Well, they know now. Thank you Vivek for allowing me to host my son's birthday. For going above and beyond to ensure everything went well. For the management of your incredible staff. We reserved two bowling lanes online for two hours. When we arrived, we asked the receptionist if our time would start from the reservation or when we actually began playing, and she told us it would start once we started bowling. Because of that, we didn't rush--we ordered food (which was actually really good), waited for the birthday celebrant, and ended up starting about 35-45 minutes later. Then a little over an hour into the game, a message popped up saying our time was almost over. I checked with the receptionist again, and she said it was just for the first hour and that we could simply reactivate it. But when the game stopped and we tried to continue, the manager told us our two hours were already used up and that we'd have to pay again to keep playing. To address the confusion, he said he'd charge us $40 for two lanes for an extra hour, but when we looked at the receipt, we were actually charged $80. The food ended up being the best part of the visit, but everything else was disappointing. The staff weren't very attentive, and the whole situation was confusing and frustrating. A newer establishment, and so fun! I am so happy there is a Pinstripes on the San Fernando valley side :) I have been to many locations, and this one (though not as big as some of the others) is so well laid out with enough seating for dinner guests, but also enough activity for others. I was with my family on the bocce court, there is one lane downstairs and another upstairs. Plenty of screens for games and the menu is vast! Came here a couple nights ago for a free community event they had and it was SO MUCH FUN. On Friday, they hosted a country line dancing session in the evening that was open to the public. Tammy was such a fun instructor and provided a great beginner lesson. I don't know any other bowling alley that hosts regular free community events like this, and I'm so grateful that Pinstripes is starting to have things like this. We recently we invited to a playdate here with a group of young kids. As you can imagine, that led to some slightly chaotic fun. : ) We went for Happy Hour which I think was 3:00 - 6:00 on week days. (Check to see if Friday is included.) The staff was friendly and helpful as we had to find shoes for 10 kids. FYI, sizes for really small kids are kept in the back. Great ambiance! group of 6 came in for birthday bowling and eats! We were allowed to bring in a store purchased cake to help us celebrate and they even refrigerated for us until we were ready for it. Loved the ambience, super casual vibes, but be weary this fun night will set you back some money. Bowling per person is $30 per hour and then the drinks and food account for at least an additional $50 a person extra... I wasn't satisfied with 1 of our 2 bowling lanes as it kept crashing. Management had to restart multiple times but we were not compensated whatsoever for the 30minutes of total game time losses. I took my five year old son to bowl here on a Saturday at 5:30 pm. I booked the reservation on their website with no problem, but at no point in the process was pricing stated clearly on their website or on their reservation platform. We waited 30 minutes to get two lanes together and the host was very pleasant and hospitable. When we went to pay the host after waiting the 30 minutes, she told us that it was $100/hour per lane. My jaw absolutely dropped and I felt absolutely blindsided. At no point in the process was pricing stated, posted, or communicated. Not on their website, not in the reservation process, nor at the front desk when checking in. I paid the fee and the staff was great. My problem is with the transparency of pricing and the deliberate withholding of "dynamic" pricing. I got home and tried to see where the pricing was on their website. After a lot of digging into their website I managed to find pricing per hour at $80 an hour for Saturday after 3pm. I immediately called and asked to speak to a manager to get some insight about the lack of transparency in pricing and also the difference in what I was charged and what was posted on the website. He was very nice, but stated that they use a third party platform for reservations and that pricing can show up differently on an android or on the East coast and asked me where I was looking at the pricing which is extremely strange. Why would pricing change on a website based on where you are looking at it? He also stated that competitors were "similarly priced". The difference is when you go on a competitor like Lucky Strike, price is clearly stated when you make a reservation so there are no surprises. If I had known it would be $100/hour to take a 5 year old bowling I would have reconsidered if the activity was worth it. I had taken a photo of the pricing before I made the call past 9pm. He asked me to email the pricing as proof to what I was seeing. Again, strange. After I hung up I refreshed the page. I kid you not the pricing went up and changed in the 25 minutes since I had checked the website, I am attaching screenshots as proof. Mind you my reservation was at 5:30pm and from 9:15 pm to 9:35 pm the pricing changed on the website and changed to a higher price 4 hours after I was charged. I have been in hospitality for almost 20 years, I am an executive at a hospitality group for crying out loud. I am very understanding when it comes to challenges in running a business. This felt like deliberate masking of "dynamic" pricing in order to gouge the guest. The staff was great, but I will never return based on this experience. The offer from the manager to "see what they could do if anything" was an effort to placate without action. He didn't even ask for my name or information until I asked him if he needed it. I have not felt the need to write a bad review based on an experience in my entire career until today. I will be letting everyone know in my community to steer clear of this business. read more

I didn't have to wait too long at the omelette station which was good (shout out to Tomas who was really graceful in handling some irate customers) They also served juevos rancheros which wasn't my favorite but it was nice that it was made fresh. The selection of foods available for an all you can eat menu included traditional continental items (eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles), fresh fruit, oatmeal and yogurt. I made a reservation for 7 but the host sat us at separate tables. As soon as we saw this, we requested to seat together. Not sure how a party of 7 is considered separate tables, especially on Mother's Day. We just placed the tables together on our own. I can let that slide although it definitely took us out of the Mother's Day feeling. It was buffet style and every party had a server, except for us. So we had to flag someone to get our drink order. I also asked about the Mimosa and got different answers and prices, even from a manager lol. I'm pretty patient so I get it, it was busy. One of the other managers whom greeted people at the front, was really nice and he was giving flowers to all the mothers. And the young lady who eventually became our server was spot on. She did an awesome job with our table. Most importanly the buffet food was pretty good! Prime rib was tender and flavorful. Lot of different ingredients for the omelette station. And when I did order an omelette it was made perfectly. The smoked salmon was worthy of a second and third plate. The initial experience was less than desired. But the quality of the food, that manager that was handing out flowers, and our server made it worthwhile. I'm glad we stuck it out to experience what Pinstripes should be. My first time dining and bowling here for a friends birthday. Upon entering, I thought the restaurant looked very inviting. Nice layout, quite when I arrived, very clean, and nice open concept. With a decently early dinner reservation, we expected to be served right away with so many open tables. We felt service was extremely slow and we had to ask for everything (silverware, napkins, water, etc). Once we ordered we expected the requested items to be brought to our table in preparation for our food to arrive. Unfortunately not and we had to ask several more times. Once food was served, several dishes were made wrong and had to be sent back. Of the food that came out right, overall consensus was we were content with our orders. Since we had a 9pm bowling reservation on, we had to ask for our bill and pay it quickly. Once we were brought upstairs to the bowling lanes, our 1 hour time limit was started. This was before we had shoes brought to us and while things were still being explained. By the time we had bowling shoes and names in the computer, we only had 45 mins left to bowl. Oh yes, and the pins weren't updating properly so they had to reset the lanes/games. At $30 per person we barely finished 1 game of bowling. Completely not worth it in my opinion. It was a nice experience! I have never gone to Pinstripes and I came across of the kids club that they have every month. I signed up my kids and I easily online. I also did a reservation for brunch just in case as well. The waiters and waitresses were all really nice and friendly. I let them know it was my first time there and they were kind enough to let me know how kids club works and as well as the brunch. The activity was nice. I didn't know they have a free drink area and it was nice of them to also play a movie for the kids while doing the activity. After we went downstairs for the brunch. Omg, the food was all really good! I tried a little bit of everything! All the food was cooked to perfection and it was all super delicious. My favorite hands down were the mini waffles. My children loved the small kids station and the dessert station. I thought the place was going to be packed but it wasn't. My mom and I recently checked this place out while having lunch at the topanga social and it was empty, brand new! We finally decided to have dinner here last night with my bf as well. Our waitress, Toni, took our drink orders and some apps and then came back around for the main dishes once we finally decided. Went for: - Paloma - My bf got 2 different beers that idk the names of - Mom got a root beer - Brussels Sprouts - Crispy Calamari - Tomato Bruschetta - Fettuccine Bolognese - Buttery Lobster Pizza - Famous Prime Rib Dip Sandwich I'm not even joking. Every single thing I bit into was absolute heaven. So perfectly cooked with insane amount of flavor. We loved everything we got but I honestly think the Brussels sprouts and the tomato bruschetta were the stars of the show. Absolutely delicious, everything. Toni came by to check on us a few times and was very sweet and actually held conversations. Some other guy, maybe the manager, checked on us a few times as well and asked if we needed boxes at the end. We also did an hour of bowling after dinner and they actually had cool game choices other than just a defaulted one. You can choose different themes. We did a ninja one and a cute monster one. Such a great place for parties since they have special big rooms to accommodate them and even have another bar and more seating on the other part of the second floor through a different staircase. Seems he didn't care to do proper service because he knew he was going to get an automatic 20% gratuity that he did not deserve. This is the third time bringing my family to Pinstripes for bowling and dinner. The bowling continues to be great, but the service and food have only gotten worse. Check in was slow with one person handling dinner and bowling reservations. Service at the bowling area was even slower, with some instances that bordered at being rude. I cleaned the area myself from the previous party in order to get my family seated. After the initial order of appetizers, I had to repeatedly ask for water/drink refills and food re-orders. With the exception of a couple servers, most avoided eye-contact. Dinner at the bistro wasn't better. Although our server was very nice, we again had to constantly ask for water and drink refills. The food took about 30 minutes to come out. Portions were smaller than the last time we came. The Lobster Mac n Cheese was dry (looked like it sat under the heat lamp too long). The rice in the Italian Jambalaya was undercooked and the shrimp were half the size from before. The total for 3 bills (bowling with appetizers, dinner, and tips) for our party of 7 was just over $550, which is about the same as previous visits. But this was an incredibly disappointing experience -- it was NOT worth it. MAYBE we'll be back for the bowling, but with so many other options in the immediate area, we'll be dining elsewhere. read more

I like the large format setting, which can entertain both smaller and larger groups as well. The food was solid, with the highlight being the hand carved prime rib. Will admit, I enjoyed the prime rib a bit more the first time, which could be driven by the fact it was earlier in the brunch hours and second time was later, so perhaps the PR sat too long under the heat lamp. Whoever thought to put a great bar with awesome food and a mini bowling alley in the mall. It's pretty genius.. Let's start with the tenderloin sliders. Which I was able to add an extra slider for five dollars. I'm not a huge fan of steak however, an eight dollar slider peaked my interest. And by adding one more for five dollars lowered the price to about 6.50. And if I ask myself, is it really worth it? I'd have to say yes, by far. The taste was absolutely amazing and the slider was softer than the bun. It was a melting your mouth meat, although I had a cut that was substandard, it was still perfectly done medium rare. And Next is what they call the world's greatest chicken wings with a sweet chili glaze. Which I call a pretty bold statement. I can see where the effort was put into it because they were really good wings. However, I have had better. They were salty and juicy and I can tell they were brined at least overnight, But I feel like there was a certain element of seasoning that was missing. Perhaps adding star anise and cinnamon and onion to the brine, would've given it that special touch. But that might be going a little further on the eastern flavor profile. Finally, the whiskey sour. Of course I spit plenty of time talking it over with the bartender, and he gave the perfect recommendation. Since the regular recipe is on the sweet side, he recommended 1/3 portion of the simple syrup. and of course, I'm gonna go with the bartenders recommendation. Where I ended up with the most amazing whiskey, sour I have ever had in my entire life. It was so incredibly refreshing. With the first flavor profile of citrus and that nice smoky woody bourbon coming off of the backend. I got to say, I really enjoyed myself, that atmosphere was absolutely amazing, with TV showing the game like a sports bar, a little background, music, and conversation at the perfect volume level. Such a great spot to hang out, eat, and play including bowling and bocci ball! The restaurant is ideal to host parties but you can just come in for dinner or lunch. Theres plenty of seating even during an event. We got the Legendary Lobster Pizza, the sangria and their lager. I think it was my first time having seafood on pizza so it was different for me but it was so good! The lobster wasn't do powering, it was just a nice hint. The dough was perfect imo. It was cheesy enough but crispy too so just the right balance. Our waitress was super cool and she along with that pizza, she suggested the margherita pizza and the chicken and avocado. So I was invited to the soft opening event and it was a fun time! They had buffet style food with fruit, chicken, shrimp, freshly cooked pizza, and many beer and wine selections, and beverages for the kids. I had the pleasure to try the chicken skewers and they were decent. The wine options were really good and tasty. They had many options to choose from, which I was grateful for. The service was very amazing! Danni and Brandon that was over the events, was very attentive and welcoming. This is the reasons for the 4 stars. All the servers were amazing as well with a large event happening. They even gave out some perks to come back :) The atmosphere was pretty cool! It will be good for happy hour and to chill and watch sporting games. They have upstairs and downstairs so it's pretty spacious. However, the bowling lanes and section were quite small and not what I expected. Very nice decor and great views, the place was over capacity so it was hard to really enjoys the ambiance. Grateful to come here to see the grand opening reception party with my partner! I can definitely see the potential of this place, the downstairs area being a restaurant feel. You get greeted by hospitable hosts. There's live music playing, large LED screen TVs playing football games, a stone oven with flames cooking flatbread pizzas, and several lounge tables and sofas. The top floor (two different sections with different staircases) includes a large banquet hall with a 360-video booth, an indoor bowling alley with 12 lanes, an all-seasons patio area with the room filled with chairs and tables. All with multiple bars throughout the place. The staff were all hustling and they look ready to take on the place as it gets settled inside of Topanga mall! Cons for just specifically the opening reception event: - RSVPs weren't honored, anyone was able to walk in - went over max capacity, it was hard to walk around without hitting someone - 6-9PM were the hours, yet we came right at 6PM and it was filled with people already, so it seems PinStripes went earlier than the set times - 21+ was said on the event details, yet there were many kids inside (is fine) and saw even dogs inside despite the large overcrowding - food was self-serve so people took a lot more than others did, leaving some trays of food empty and messy - flatbread pizza was super hardened, they were cooked at super hot temps that it didn't taste good read more

On September 22nd, 2023 we were invited to the grand opening celebration for Pinstripes! An establishment that has been trying to open for years, but was faced with various challenges, including Covid! Well, last night they celebrated with a big bang! They had a celebration that included open bars serving wine, beer and cider. Various food stations: serving sandwiches, pizzas, cheese, Italian meats! A shrimp bar, with shells off. And upstairs they had a dessert station with a gelato bar and a chocolate lava station. The event also had opening bowling! The staff was very friendly and accommodating! They all worked really hard to please! The establishment is in the new part of the topanga mall by the AMC theater. There are two entrances: inside the mall or outside. Great experience had their grand opening, I hope they keep up the great customer experience! read more

Pinstripes is new to the Topanga Westfield Mall. It is a beautifully decorated restaurant on the bottom floor. Upstairs is more seating and a bowling alley. They have an event room for private events. The food was great and flavors were on point. Upscale environment and food for an affordable price. The waiters were great staff was helpful and friendly. Adult, kids, and family friendly environment it has something for everyone. The music is great and it is just overall a good vibe. We were giving complimentary hats. They are just opening so there drinks could be worked and better perfected. I recommend you come at least once and have their tenderloin sliders. The bowling is fun and interactive you can take your picture and it show ups so many cool features the food is spectacular l! 10 out of 10 I recommend!!!!! read more

I had waited for over 2+ years for this location to open. This Woodland Hills Topanga Plaza location officially opens tomorrow. 9/23/23. Today, 9/22/23, was the opening party that included: *Complimentary Alcohol and Non Alcoholic beverages *Scratch-made food and dessert such as pizza, sliders, shrimp cocktail, skewers, charcuterie, and various desserts *Complimentary Bowling and Bocce It is two floors with the top having a small row of bowling lanes, small lounge area, various bar set ups, and a large party room. The bottom floor was more of a restaurant set up with another private room If I want to have a nice fun gathering or a holiday party, will definitely look into booking here. I will say that for an event that mentioned needing an RSVP, they were not checking and it was way over capacity. Anyone was let in which made it very claustrophobic especially when getting food who can wad only in certain places and self serve. They should have made it a more intimate event so that it was truly an honor to be there and enjoyable. read more
