I've bowled here a few times now and overall it's a solid spot. One thing I really like is how the lanes are set up. There's plenty of room between seating areas, so when it's your turn you can actually get to the ball return without squeezing past people or climbing over someone's chair. A lot of newer bowling spots seem to forget about that. The atmosphere is what a bowling alley should be. It's got that classic feel instead of trying to be some gimmicky entertainment chain. The place was also relatively clean, which is always appreciated. Service was probably the weakest part of the experience. Our server rarely came around, and nobody stopped by our lane when we first got started, so getting food and drinks took more effort than it should have. Pricing felt fair overall. It's not cheap, but it's not outrageously expensive either. Just keep in mind that shoe rental is an extra $10 per person, so factor that into the cost when you're booking. Despite the service issues, I'd come back. The lane setup, classic atmosphere, and overall experience make it a good place to spend a few hours with friends. read more

I bowl Wednesday league, have been for 2 years, and love the people. Staff are cool too. The leagues are a good mix of competitive and social. The bar usually has bands scheduled for variety. It's during league hours so I always miss. Usually some cover or indy rock. Sounds good while I'm bowling from afar. Food is good compared to most bowling alleys. If you want a date night that involves bowling, take your date to dinner to the adjacent plaza and have the Indian food (best in the valley) around 8pm then head to Corbin at 9pm when the lanes open up after league. read more

This is a great bowling alley. Lanes and equipment are well maintained. It's pricey but so is every other bowling alley. They have a great little repair shop in house. With that said, ironically, what blew us all away was the cafe. The food was seriously really, really good. Not at all what I would expect from a bowling alley. Went bowling at Corbin Bowl last Sunday and it was super fun. Parking was interesting, my friend and I drove separately and we ended up parking on opposite sides of the alley, but I think the one my friend parked in is actually for the alley. Either way, there is plenty of parking spaces. There was a birthday party going on and it was fun to watch all the kids bowling. The colors of the bowling alley reminded me of 70s colors which made me feel nostalgic wondering how many people have bowled these lanes and how many people have used the bowling balls that I was using. Also the shoes still have shoelaces (some other alleys have shoes with velcro). One thing about the balls is that if you need a different ball you have to walk all the way across the alley to get a ball, they aren't behind all the rows like at other places. I'm giving this place 5 Stars because it's a bowling alley, cafe and music venue/bar. Came here to see a band play inside Bar 10, which doesn't seem to have it's own Yelp page but it's a bar inside Corbin Bowl. Bar 10 was a cool little spot to see live music. I'd like to visit again in the near future. They had a water dispenser at the entrance to the bar which by the way, I think every bar needs to have lol what a good idea. The music gets super loud so bring Earplugs. Parking is plentiful, even with bands playing, we were able to find parking without issue. They had a bouncer plus a security guard outside. read more

This is a nice bowling ally. There are lots of lanes and it wasn't too busy. They seemed to space out the occupied lanes which was nice, felt kind of private. Such a nice neighborhood friendly bowling place. We went there with our kids and they had lots of fun. They have all balls for the little kids and the kid ramp to learn to bowl. They also have a small arcade area that's kid friendly. For those who like to snack have a meal and drinks, they have that to. The bar area was a bit busy to order the food and drinks but the food was reasonably good for a bowling place. They play great music and have dimmed lights. Hello! I have taken a break from Yelp! But I'm back, and not for a good reason. I came to this spot for the first time. To be honest, I thought I had been here before and thought they remodeled because I didn't recognize the establishment. I made a weird face apparently because the security guard named Juan, asked me why I made that face when I walked in. I explained why, and he said no, you probably are confusing this spot with another because this building has stayed exactly the same for a few years now. (Minor detail - which will come into play later) So we went to the counter, my wife and I. Because I work so much as does she, rarely do we have time for anything on a weekday evening but I had happened to get off work early and we had finished dinner early. She and I were quite looking forward to having a fun filled evening. We were told at 8:15pm that we would be given a spot at 9:00pm. The older gentlemen who gave us the time explained that it would open up then and he would in fact come get us when our lane was ready. For that reason, we didn't go to Starbucks to kill time in those 45 minutes and instead had no choice but to remain at the establishment. During that time, we ordered a couple of drinks, and played in the arcade for a total of 10 minutes (the racing game of course doesn't link with the other machine parallel to it, it's solo just FYI) Once we realized it's solo there was no point; in addition everything else in the arcade sucks - claw machines have crappy prizes and the arcade has the most uninteresting games. (You'll see if you go.) We ordered fried Oreos, a coke, and onion rings at the food counter. From 8:15pm, we waited until about 9:25pm. At that point, my wife went up to the counter to speak with them. I hung back for a few minutes until I saw her get visibly upset. We were told there was a league, another large group for a reservation and etc. Long story short, doesn't matter. We asked how much longer it would be. They said 20 minutes. When we asked if our lane was guaranteed in 20 minutes (also by the way - very important - we were number 1 in the queue the whole time) - they said it wasn't.... so why would you tell us 45 minute wait time if it ends up becoming an hour and a half pretty much?? And after that hour and a half, it's not even guaranteed? So why would you tell us that you'll come get us and make us wait here for no reason? HONESTLY. I wasn't too upset but I was more agitated about my girl feeling really frustrated and really upset, feeling like the evening has been ruined. That's why I'm writing this review. Don't come here man. Ah, about Juan, the security guard. So I asked my girl if she wants to remain and wait, they all of a sudden said OH WE HAVE A LANE OPENING UP IN 8 MINUTES (versus the 20 minutes they quoted us 1 minute prior). She said she didn't feel like bowling anymore, she had a sad face not of anger but just extremely disappointed. That's what made me upset. So I told them we're out, no we don't feel like playing anymore, and no real genuine apologies, just excuses about reservations. Then I forgot we ordered food some 20 minutes ago - which still hadn't come out yet. So I walked over to the food counter and asked for a refund. The guy I spoke to said no, we just finished making your food. I said I don't care. I am getting a refund. He said no. I told him I don't have a problem wit him but i'm upset at the lack of customer service from the reservation/shoe counter. He said he wont' give me a refund. I said well, we'll see. So I went to the shoe counter again and told them i want a damn refund and they went over to the food counter, told him wsup and he gave me cash refund. ON MY WAY OUT - Juan, the good man, asked me what was wrong. I told him bro, we were quoted 45 minutes, that someone would come get us. If we knew it was gonna be much longer than that, we'd go somewhere to kill time instead of sitting here watching everyone else play and watching my girl little by little unconsciously sulking. It pissed me off. So I told him you know what, I'm out bro. This place sucks, I'm really upset. And he responded, bro, why don't you try to speak to the manager and try to get him to comp you a free game or something? He's cool man, the manager will take care of you. I told him I don't care about a free game when i'm told it'll be a total of 1.5 hours FOR A CHANCE to go bowling. And w/ no real sorries or nothing, lack of customer service. MY POINT IS - JUAN is the only person who showed any sort of kindness or empathy for the situation. Why would I meet the manager? If 3 out of 4 employees (not counting Juan, independent contractor and not an employee) have a crap attitude, hey you know what? An employee is only as good as his manager. So not the best leadership, and if you trained these guys, haha, I really don't care to meet you. This is my review after being gone from Yelp so long. Thanks for making me come back on. This review is for Bar 10 inside the bowling alley. Went to see some really cool live bands play. The sound was really really loud and the bar was really small. Ouch. The food was really mid. My burger patty was burned, and you could taste it. I could barely eat half. The lemon pepper chicken tenders were ok, and the fries were pretty good. We also tried the ground beef nachos. They were good except for the beans. The consistency was like from a can. The service was great, very helpful. We'll be back with earplugs, and we'll just stick to the drinks. read more

What started out as a a rocky experience ended in a memorable and fantastic time had. Moses, Andy, Johnny and team really know how to take care of their guests. We went to the legendary Corbin Bowl Saturday night to celebrate my wife's birthday with our kids and extended family, boy did we have a blast. Being in the service / hospitality industry, I am very aware and particular when it comes to what businesses I patronize and the service that is given. Again, all names mentioned along with couple more made our night fantastic and we surely look forward to coming back again to patronize, bowl, and support this business. Moses is one heck of a General manager, Andy is a gentleman and a scholar. The way they lead their team and run the operation is respected and commendable. Every so often I come to Corbin Bowl and I love the authenticity of the establishment. I am an OG old school bowler and used to play in leagues back in the day. Having cosmic bowling and loud music is cool but its not 100% for me. But I get it! My recent visit was last night and not to bowl but to support my buddy and his band's performance. I think its great to have other options at Corbin Bowl to keep the business running. They have a full bar and a nice sized menu as well. This place is awesome . Attended during spring break with my kids and husband and we had a great time. Arcade games are kept clean and up to date . The live Dj and band that was playing in the bar was different for us but it was friendly and fun. I planned my company's holiday party for 50 people at Corbin Bowl and it went off without a hitch! Erin made planning via email super easy, and the packages were very competitively priced compared to other similar venues in the area. On the night of the event, the staff was so attentive, and all of the attendees raved about the holiday buffet of food, which was so many steps above what you'd think of as typical bowling alley fare! We were also able to pre-purchase drink tickets for the bar, which made everything so easy on the night, When we were having so much fun that a smaller group of us wanted to stay longer, they helped us extend our time on a few lanes even on a busy Saturday night. I have not been bowling in like 6 years so I wanted to go try it out again with some friends. It was clean, the employees were helpful. It was around $60 for 4 people to rent shoes and rent a lane for 1 hr. The nachos were great but it did take a long time to get them. Our time was almost done by the time they showed up. They were a solid 7/10. I wish adding meat wasn't extra cost. Food is like the same cost as the movie theaters just a heads up. Some patrons around the area were not very friendly and it's not really the establishment's fault, but it was a turn off. read more
