My child was part of a birthday party. There were 10 kids total with two coaches, so 5 kids per coach. With the exception of 2 kids, 8 were 1st timers. They first took them to easier walls and as the kids gained confidence they were then taken to the intermediate walls. The kids had a blast. Afterwards we went into a private room for some food and cake. I'm always looking for venues for kids birthday parties and this was definitely a hit and surprisingly affordable. I would definitely recommend for parties, or just a family outing with the kids. Will be back.

I haven't done bouldering in a very long time. Paid $45 online for a 30 minute session which was really fun. Our instructor Michael was cool, calm, experienced, and all around nice. A decent space and very clean with many levels to choose from, great activity for all ages.

I had never been to a rock climbing gym before and wasn't really sure what to expect. Well well well. Let me tell you! We arrived, signed the waivers, (which you will need to do even just to watch) and got the kids their shoes. We had two instructors, Carmen and Guy, I wish I could remember his name. They were both SO ENCOURAGING AND HELPFUL!!! We are a loud crowd; we cheer each other on and shout encouragement... they were both right there with us! Cheering and giving helpful advice to everyone who participated! Both my kids have been asking to join our local gym up in the Bay Area now that they have had a taste. My kids like to do new things, but not necessarily more than once.. so the fact they Want to go back and they Both had fun, means the world to us! They are 15 and 9, so they have very different tastes. Now that they have something in common they can do, is Amazing. I can't wait for them to start going up here in the bay. The gym smells like a gym, sweaty. But it didn't feel "dirty" or run down. Felt like this was a well loved gym. We will be back when we come to visit family again. Thank you for the great time!

    Scout climbing rock wall

Our scout group was treated with 3 of the scout tenets Friendly, Courteous, and Kind. The scouts were encouraged by the staff through every hold, slip, and completed route. They were willing and able to pass on technic and plans of action for the routes and holds. I could see in my own scout, her being emboldened by their motivating words. She was able to complete harder routes than she has done before. This cool and clean facility will be revisited for sure.

Love climbing here with the kiddos! Had Adrian guiding us today, he was awesome! Super encouraging and helpful, and helped push us to new heights! Will be back soon!

I highly recommend Boulderdash for anyone interested in climbing. We always have a good experience with the private lessons and I learned so much in the up rope class with Sasha. We will definitely be back!

Great place and great people. Everyone is friendly and looks out for everyone's safety. Met some great friends so far. Great welcome back to climbing after a few years living my best big fat fatty lifestyle. I signed up for the yearly membership to commit myself to showing up!

This review is long overdue. We took our trip with Ko-netic in mid -November…read more I should start with saying.....our groups idea of camping was car camping, glamping or a cabin. Naomi and her team actually cater to all levels of experience. We hired Naomi and Nelson for a celebratory adventure. We didn't really know what we wanted or how much adventure we wanted (or were capable of). Ko-netic worked with us on all the large important details (fitness level of the group, location restraints, time constraints, our access to equipment, outdoor experience level). Naomi was patient and talked us through some different ideas before we finally settled on a short camping and canyoneering trip. From there, they made sure everyone was safe, prepared and ready for our adventure. They scouted the area ahead of our trip to make sure everything was good. They emailed us important information (how to pack your bag, what to bring, itinerary, weather, what to expect, last minute checklists) as we approached our trip. They checked in with every single person to make sure they understood what we had and what they needed to provide. The night that we departed, they helped us pack our bags, checked out what we were bringing, eliminated somethings, made recommendations on others and off we went. They drove us to the base of the trail where we would hike to get to our camp site. Before we started our night hike, they gave us some pointers, checked our bag loads to make sure we were comfy, helped us adjust and off we went into the night. We took the hike fairly slow and they were patient and made sure each of us was okay and having fun. Once we got to the camp site, they helped us set up our tents; made sure we changed into dry clothes to stay warm, made us a fire, made s'mores and showed us how to stay warm in our tents and bags. They even scared a few bears off that wandered into our site. When we woke up in the morning, they were making breakfast for us. It was so nice to have something warm. They helped us get packed up and off we went to rappel down a waterfall. We hiked to the fall and had lunch that they provided. They also provided the wetsuits (a must have in November) and took us down some canyons and waterfalls after we ate. We all had such an amazing time. The hikes were not difficult hikes but our group was challenged. There were a handful of us that had never carried a pack while hiking. Naomi and Nelson made that challenge fun. They kept the conversations going on the hikes, they constantly kept an eye on us, pointed things out as we passed them (caves, poison ivy, foliage, random cabins). They stayed positive and upbeat the whole time. We would absolutely recommend Naomi and Nelson for any adventure excursions. We wouldn't hesitate to take another adventure trip with them again....maybe some rafting, high ropes, or a snow adventure.

There is also an area to do abs and stretching. They offer private pilates, Zumba, and yoga classes. Not to mention that they have an incredible rock climbing wall. This place is luxurious and spacious, and I'm not mad about probably ~50% of my tuition going to its maintenance and upkeep. Only thing that bothers me about the SRC is that they have such limited hours around the holidays. For example, this past weekend following Thanksgiving, they were only open from 10-2 pm. They are also closed from Dec 25- Jan 1, which I guess is understandable. But then again they are closed the week before the spring semester starts. It makes me feel like if I wanted to work out during those times, I need to purchase a separate gym membership somewhere else (which I do not want to do). Also, keep in mind that if you want to rock climb, you have to come at certain times as well, when the rock climbing staff are there. They really need to bring back the guest passes! Especially if that guest was an alumnus. Unfortunately, management is a completely different story. They are opportunistic and very inconsiderate. Despite me sending emails and calling ahead of time to confirm that I would not be charged after the three-month agreement, they still charged my card anyway. I don't like to argue, so I took matters into my own hands and showed my bank the emails and explained that I had called to get reassurance beforehand; yet I was still charged. That alone says a lot about their lack of integrity and morality. What made this even more frustrating is that after the bank reimbursed me, management suddenly called me again to "cancel" the training and I forwarded the same email I had already sent months ago stating I wanted to cancel after three months. This felt extremely tedious and reactive, especially since I had already been clear and proactive from the beginning. Please read the Yelp reviews before signing up.
