We love this Lucky Strike in Hollywood. It can get very crowded so call ahead and see if you can reserve a lane. The place is so much fun, it is even fun looking. It has cool neon and they have specials all the time so check their webpage. The lanes are great and everything is very clean. Now, there is not a ton of space between lanes so you may be sharing a table with the guy next to you. That is fine. The people are very nice. I love the service there. It is not a huge wait for anything. Parking is in a lot for a fee. And we love the food. We have had dinner there more than once. They have a great selection of snacks and some great food. You can order a little or a whole tray of food for sharing. Their Buffalo Chicken Quesadilla is the bomb. Try this place. I have such fun there. read more

We had such a great time at Lucky Strike Hollywood last night. Honestly, everything from start to finish was smooth and way better than expected. Parking was originally $25, but they validated it, so we only paid $3 can't beat that in Hollywood! We rented two lanes for 11 people, and the prices were super fair $13 per game and $6 for shoes. For being a Saturday night, the wait was short maybe 15 minutes tops before we were bowling. That alone was impressive. We ordered lemon pepper wings, hot wings, mozzarella bites, and a chicken sandwich, and everything came out hot and full of flavor. The food was fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced, especially for the area. Everyone at the table agreed the lemon pepper wings were a hit. Our server, an older gentleman, was amazing. He checked on us constantly every 15 minutes or so refilling drinks, clearing plates, and making sure we were good without us even having to ask. Overall, it was just a fun, easy night out. I came here for a birthday party for one of my son's classmates. The kids enjoyed bowling, the arcade games, and the food. I like the variety of the food: fries, chicken tenders, tacos, and sliders. The staff was attentive. The kids had a blast, and I highly recommend this place if you want to spend 2-3 hours with your kid, throw a birthday party, or spend time with your adult friends! We had a Groupon so we came in on a Sunday afternoon and really enjoyed ourselves. It is really overpriced. That's why we waited till we could get a Groupon. Marilyn greeted us and was very friendly And helpful. We had a buffalo chicken quesadilla, which was nice and flavorful, but some of the chicken pieces had too much grizzle and were too chewy. Hummus was pretty tasty. His beer he ordered was a nice large portion and cold. I ordered the Paloma which was refreshing but very weak. Dell served us and was very nice. Was in the area and decided to go bowling at Lucky Strike. We did have to reserve a lane 7 hrs prior to us coming in. We did call to see if we can get in early and was told we could. It was not passed on to the staff so when we arrived we had some issues. When we go our lane all the bowling balls were on other lanes. I asked the staff and they said you have to go get them. I had to walk up to peoples lane to ask if I could use one or two of their bowling balls. The balls where all greasy and gross. I had to grab paper towels from the bathroom to get them whipped down. Then pins where connected to a string that brings them up and down. Definitely recommend trying another bowling alley read more

Lovely visit to the bowling alley, close enough for me to walk, which is so rare in LA! We used a Groupon so it was a pretty good deal: two people for two hours, 35 bucks, we got in four games. Lucky Strike is the only place that I ever go to bowl. It's the nicest alleys that I've ever seen. It is geared towards adults, which is why I love it, and it's great for both big groups and date night. They close at 12am during the week, and at 2am on the weekends. No one under the age of 21 is allowed past 9pm. Love that! There are a few locations, with this Hollywood being the smallest. The address is Hollywood Blvd, but the entrance is actually along Highland Ave around the side of the mall. There's a nice bar lounge, and a celebrity score board with a long list from Tom Cruise and Jennifer Aniston, to LeBron James. It gets full here quick, so best to set reservations, or you may wait an hour or two for a lane, but there is the whole mall to walk through in case you do end up waiting. The food was good and the bar is located right for your convenience. they did have a server so that was nice as well. The games are fun. This is a great place to visit when you are in the Hollywood and Highland area. Parking can be a bit pricey, but then again what parking lot in Hollywood isn't. Great service from the moment we walked in, to the last drink. This couches in the bowling lanes are super comfortable. This place also has a stage for live music. I won tickets to a private event, but I'm sure it's cool otherwise. You have a high chance of bowling with celebrities. read more

Honestly i have no complaints. It was a fun time and we went on a night right after the team season ended, so we didn't have to wait for lanes to be ready. The happy hour deals on food and drinks were really awesome. And they had comfy couches instead of just the hard chairs you'd expect a bowling alley to have. So it was a lot of fun! I've been wanting to visit this place and my company just so happened to have chosen this place as our company Christmas party. I can't speak to the parking situation but being in Hollywood, it's probably difficult. We arrived on a party bus and checked in at the front. There were 12 to our party so we had 3 lanes. There are lots of house balls to choose from and shoe rental. As part of an event, they entered our names for us and brought food and drinks as apart of our package. The decor of this place is what makes it awesome. Walking down the entrance, the wall is lined with black velvet wall paper and gothic style mirrors. It's the Holidays so they had a lovely Christmas tree. We were there from 6p to 9p so there were neat lights. Above the lanes there are large projector type videos playing. The staff was helpful and tentative to our groups needs. If you need the restroom, it's to the right of the bar and down the hall. The night was definitely a memorable one! read more

This location is very nice. Parking is not hard. The place is pretty and kept very clean. They have a full bar. The prices are a tad high, but you do get to play at your time if you booked a lane. The space between lanes is a bit small so you might be sharing a table with another, but all the people there were very nice. We love their nachos. read more

Groupon bowling session, and were treated no differently (sometimes businesses hate that you use a Groupon). We had an amazing time, lanes functioned flawlessly, server showed up right away and was polite and super helpful. Andrew came to check on us/cleaned up the lane next to us without us noticing because it happened so fast. I only learned Andrew's name later as we talked to him as we were leaving. He was buzzing around the lanes even though it wasn't that busy. We connected on our love of bowling, and he showed us the various memorabilia around the Hollywood Lucky Strike that were of note (The bar top is from a famous former LA bowling alley, guess which movie?!) This is the second time coming to this location and both times they fucked up my order. Last time they gave me a hard time but made it right eventually. This time they gave me buffalo wings instead of parmesan wings like I ordered. Then when I asked to have them replaced she told me I'd have to rebuy the entire order. She was kinda rude in the process and I don't appreciate the attitude or the fact I didn't get what I payed for. It makes me not want to return to this location because they can't take care of their customers. I paid $40 for a platter. The least they could do is get my order. Grown-up bowling right off the Hollywood walk of fame. A group of four of us had reservations at 8pm on a Friday night for two hours of bowling, which can be made online beforehand. You check in at the front, pay, grab your shoes, and are taken to your lane. The order of bowling is by the order of checking in at the front. They do validate parking or you can find metered street parking if you hunt. There's food and alcohol available for purchase. You can scan the QR code or ask for a paper menu. You have a lane concierge that you can ask for any questions. Bathrooms are available in the back (it looks a bit warehouse-y but you'll see signs). Note that bumpers are only available for children age 5. There's a water dispensers by the bar area that's self-serve. The vibe is kind of like speakeasy, and they have a DJ on the weekends. The place is great and the food is great. I love the atmosphere inside and the drinks a pretty delightful. I did have an issue with one the bartender when my drink wasn't made right and politely I let her know that my drink taste nothing like what I asked for. And it was immediate attack with getting loud and getting ignored and instead of De-escalating it was getting worse. It did not set will with me I felt as guest of this place, I wasn't valued or my business. it really was not what me and my partner and my friends were thinking when we picked the place , and it was for one of our friends celebrating his birthday. and in end she calmed and a apologized and I accepted it and I moved on. pros: great alley in terms of location, martini was strong, staff allowed me to play my allotted hour despite arriving over 20 mins late, all sizes available for small hands. cons: spacing and position of booths in front of the lanes are tight knit, we were sitting at the same table with another party because of seating. if you're late, they kind of monitor your gameplay to make sure you're playing (i guess for availability?) other than that it's not much past your average, fun bowling alley. read more

Really disappointed in the customer service, we were late to our reservation but we knew we would be charged either way so we decided to make the best of the situation! Arrived around 30 mins after our reservation. The gentleman and bouncer in the front were extremely rude and didn't try to hide it. They flat out stated "why did you even bother coming you won't even have time to bowl". As we realized that already a 50% deposit is required for reservations. The rest of the staff that was actually on the floor were super sweet. I felt discouraged to order a drink at the bar as we felt rushed. Won't be returning unfortunately but maybe someone else can have a better experience. read more
