I went to an event in the conference room here. The sliders were served on Hawaiian bread and really good. Pretty big fan of the cheese pizza as well. It had been a while since I ate at a Dave & Buster's, and I am not mad about the food there. 1 STAR Absolutely TERRIBLE experience at Dave & Buster's Hollywood, and what makes this even worse is that this involved my **12-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER**. My daughter was there last night for a private/middle school event and was given an unlimited-play card. Apparently, some games were not included with that particular card and required additional credits. No problem. My daughter wanted to play those games, so she went to the counter and paid an additional **$35**. Keep in mind -- SHE IS 12 YEARS OLD. The employee had my daughter sign some type of form and then proceeded to load the $35 onto the SAME unlimited-play card. After taking her money, the employee then told her that the $35 couldn't be used from that particular card for the games she was trying to play. How does that make any sense? Your employee is the one who works there and should know how these cards work. A 12-year-old child should not be expected to understand Dave & Buster's card restrictions and policies better than the employee standing behind the counter. The employee initially said she would refund the $35 but needed management approval. When the manager finally came over, my daughter and her aunt were told that the $35 **couldn't be refunded**. That's complete BS. Even if, for whatever reason, your policy supposedly prevented a cash/card refund, management could have easily made the situation right by transferring the $35 to a usable Power Card or even issuing a $35 Dave & Buster's gift card. There were plenty of reasonable ways to resolve this situation. Instead, management chose to essentially tell a **12-year-old girl, "Too bad,"** after YOUR EMPLOYEE put her money onto a card that couldn't be used for what she specifically paid for. That's the part that bothers me the most. This wasn't a grown adult who misunderstood a transaction. This was a CHILD trusting an adult employee to know what they were doing. Your employee took her $35, put it on the wrong type of card, acknowledged there was a problem, and said she would refund it -- then management refused to make it right. My daughter also told me that the employees were rude to her and her aunt during the process. Looking at this location's mediocre reviews, I can't say I'm shocked. At the end of the day, Dave & Buster's Hollywood kept $35 from a 12-year-old because of a mistake made by THEIR OWN EMPLOYEE. That's embarrassing. We're talking about $35. A manager had an opportunity to correct a simple employee mistake, take care of a child who was there for a school event, and send everyone home happy. Instead, they chose to keep the money and leave a 12-year-old feeling like she got taken advantage of. Pretty sad when a company that makes its money entertaining kids and families handles a situation involving a child this way. Dave & Buster's corporate should seriously look into how this location is being managed and how employees are handling transactions involving minors. **Do better, Dave & Buster's Hollywood. Getting over on a 12-year-old for $35 is pathetic.** read more

Seems smaller than the other Dave & Buster's locations. I have the Platinum Summer Pass so I've been coming here to max out the 2,000 tickets every week. I think it resets every Monday. Games were working and I was able to hit my ticket limit. Parking wasn't bad either. Got a validation voucher and paid only $3 for about 4 hours. Overall it's an okay location if you're nearby, just don't expect it to be as big as some of the other Dave & Buster's. read more

It's been awhile since I've been to this Hollywood shopping center. This Dave and Busters was really nice came here for a conference/reunion and their rooms are a really good size!! I did not try the food but it did look pretty good. The service was just ok. Went to the bar after and it took a while just to order a drink and come back. However, I like this location and it is very modern with many games. The setup is very cool and nice bar area seating. They also have good happy hour times except for Saturdays. This location is my favorite Dave and Buster's in LA. My partner and I love the variety of games, the fun music, the SpongeBob coin pusher cards being frequently replenished, the convenient and validated parking, etc. I think they have some adult-only hours since they sometimes have security that checks IDs. We finally got the food for the first time. We went with an appetizer and ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls. They came out fairly quickly and were delicious. What a great time we had at Dave & Buster's! Was out in Pasadena and decided to stop by to take advantage of their delicious wings special (Sunday, 10 for $10) and of course I had to get my lemon pepper rub wings! DELICIOUS! Got their seasoned fries too, and that's definitely a worth-it add-on. Came here on a Sunday around 11ish to watch the football games and there was plenty of seating available, and even better, parking was not terrible! It was quite accessible and easy to find parking, and with a $15 or more purchase, they'll give you a validation where you'll only have to pay a few dollars for a few hour visit to Ovation. But let's be real - the draw is Dave & Buster's! Again, worth it! Our waiter was super nice and hospitable and fun - he was watching the game too, but made sure we had all that we needed for a pleasant time with our wings! It was a chill ambiance with parents and their kiddos, people at the bar, families playing games and still popping in to glance at the tvs - lots going on! I'll definitely come back to play air hockey, play more of the games, eat more wings, and enjoy the chill vibe that this place provides. Half the fun of Dave and busters is the games. The food is mediocre but usually it's a fun spot for the play and eat combo deal. Sadly half the games are broken. 1 of 2 skee ball machines worked 1 of 2 bowling games worked Literally half the things that could be played (2 player) had one that was broken. This is a common problem at most Dave and busters. Lowkey fix your games or replace them since it's a bad look for customers to buy game cards to learn half your stuff is broken and it's a common problem at all locations. I frequent here once in a while but I came and had a mishap with one of the bartenders Veronica, I asked for a tequila soda with splash of lime juice, also known as a ranch water, my mistake for thinking that this was a full bar. Unfortunately she had given me a rump punch(or something like that) which is totally understandable bc of the name of a well drink that I ordered... Stopped by for a team lunch and I've never had food at Dave & busters, so I'm not too sure what to have expected about the quality of the food. I ordered a bacon mac n cheese and I let them know about my nut allergy. Thankfully, they were very nice and able to accommodate it for me. The bacon mac n cheese was good but I think it lacked some flavor, it was good portion size. For dessert I got a strawberry shake, and I wish it was a little less icy and more creamy. Its been many moons since I've last stepped inside a Dave and Busters. While meeting with some friends before stepping into the Dolby Theater I suggested we all meet up at D&B for a quick bite and drink. It was around noon on a Sunday and the place was empty. This is not a bad thing for me as there were plenty of tables to choose in the dining area. I did take a quick walk around the gaming area and there were many games that are new and not gonna lie, I may have wanted to play some of them. The server for the day was Jonathan. He was very attentive, cool, and fun to have as our server. I explained to him that I was meeting with some friends for an event and will be trickling in at our table as the time gets closer. Attended a holiday party at D&B midweek. The bar staff is great and very generous with the pours. The food that was set up buffet style is snack/bar food. The pizza flatbread was a favorite. The games are great as it allows people to have fun activity. Came here recently during Halloween and experience was okay. The servers we had at our table were super nice and brutally honest about the menu. We learned the sauces arent made in house there isnt any mayonnaise or tartar sauce in house just some garlic aioli that is utterly disgusting and way too garlicky. My bacon burger had a weird flavor to it...i think the tomato or the sauce had a spice in it like oregano or something that threw me off this all American classic. The 515 app was good kind of a mix of everything. The fried pickles werent that hot when they dropped it on our table it was kind of weird like it sat in the window awhile. Bar area usually has seating unless there's a fight or something like that going on. They have a lot of games here but most of them seem to always be broken or out of order. read more

Came in for happy hour, they have great drink specials! I got the Watermelon Rita which was $6 dollars. It was really good and refreshing. The service was nice and fast. The ambience is good. Then I didn't get my servers name but I think she was Latin? but she slammed the food on the table. finally charging the bill I tried to get the machine myself because that's usually what servers do they hand you the machine so you can have some privacy decide the tip but forcefully she kept trying to see the tip amount which is completely unacceptable, and I believe once she saw how much tip was left she was bothered because when asked for another beer she slammed it on the table again. Came here with my teenage son while he's on spring break. Never been to this location but somehow we ended up here while in the area for work. It's located at the Hollywood and Highland plaza on the third floor. Some games were new to us so that was cool but the rest same as other locations. The dining area is smaller than most locations and it looked like there was some construction going on cause some areas were cover with black fabric. Stopped at this past Monday for lunch before going to the Hollywood bowl. Had lunch and a few drinks tried to get a drink that required a blender was told the blender is broken. This is funny. This is the third location. I've been to that. They said the blender was broken. I'm not sure if it's a corporate issue or if they don't want to make any blended drinks either way I think you're missing the boat. Why not having adequate equipment to make the drinks that are on the menu. It just seems to be a widespread issue not that I go to Dave & Buster's all the time I've been maybe four times in my life, but it's really disheartening to have a craving for a drink that's blended and they can't provide it. I was here as part of a private event where a friend of mine rented out a private room and we all got prepaid cards to play the games and got food catered by the venue. The good: pretty decent food! Surprisingly still pretty warm which is not common when there's a large amount of pre prepared food. The ambiance was also great, what you'd expect of a ton of games and sports. Almost Vegas like but without the ick factor of Vegas! The bad: unfortunately similarly to Vegas in that a lot of the games increasingly feel like they're sponsored to be there, because they're just giant versions of mobile games. Went back to the table, waited and waited and... nothing. New customer sat NEXT TO OUR TABLE and was SERVED IMMEDIATELY. We walked out after that. Awful service.
